Six figures moved quietly across the frozen landscape. Their custom white armor blended in with the environment and blurred their approach to the long-abandoned outpost. The lead element in the wedge formation held up a fist and the five Mandalorians behind him stopped in their tracks. Each member of the team took a knee with their weapons facing out and their helmets amplifying the sights and sounds of their surrounding area.

“Go thermal.”

The team’s heads up displays transitioned from their enhanced optics to the blues and reds of heat imaging. The faint red outline of two human forms appeared at the outpost’s entrance.

“Silent.”

The lead Mandalorian slung his rifle and pulled a short-handled hatchet from his back. The ancient weapon was like those seen around the galaxy except for the emblem of the Deathwatch emblazoned upon its blade. The second Mandalorian in the formation followed suit as the two men approached the only access point of Outpost 5. Their movements were quick, efficient, and brutal. Moments later, two unidentified, but very dead men lay on the ground.

The lead Mandalorian looked up in the sky to the Command ship that was providing overwatch from above the clouds.

“Vizsla Gold, this is Vizsla X-ray. We have gained access to the outpost’s entrance and will conduct a breach in five minutes. Anticipate our time to target within the facility to be within the next two hours.”

Vizsla X-Ray looked to Vizsla Red and pointed towards the durasteel doors blocking them from Clan Vizsla’s prize.

“Take it down.”

Closing Out

I have pontificated about the Dark Brotherhood's community for years. This club has great people who do great things to make everyone's experience better. Sure, we all have our own flaws, but for the most part our members are exceptionally dedicated to helping this club be a better place.

Clan Vizsla is extremely fortunate to have many members who fit this description. Recently, our very own Drac returned to the Dark Council. He didn't necessary do this because he wanted to, but the Club needed him and he responded. He stepped into a terrible situation, brought his usual no-nonsense approach, and helped clear up a messy situation. Members who do this are what our club is all about.

Our PCON is a second example of this type of member. How many DJB members have created business cards, t-shirts, and coins to help promote the DJB? Val didn't make these things for his bros (although I have all of them...wait...I don't have a damn coin), but made them to advertise our Club. Remarkable stuff.

Remarkable stuff, remarkable members. That is what Clan Vizsla is trying to build as we move into the future. We look to launch our video-blog series in the future, open House Wren (#soon), and start fleshing out the DJB's wild wild west. We will continue to drive home our Credits not Politics mantra and reward those participate and create for this Club. This is why the awards section above includes those members who left Vizsla or went to the rogues. We value participation.
