Naboo Jan-gwa City

Unlike the Gungan’s submerged capital below Naboo, Jan-gwa rests partially underwater; the majority of the city rests above the water’s surface. A waterfall runs along the cliffs behind Jan-gwa, creating a veil of mist around the base of the city’s rounded platforms. Nocturnally illuminated, domed structures encompass the center of each platform and are home to Jan-gwa’s Gungan inhabitants. Some of the these structures extend below the water’s surface, creating an anchor that keeps Jan-gwa from floating with the currents and provides shelter to hundreds of Gungans.

Etched into the cliff walls are several faces of unknown origin. Resembling a humanoid with unembellished features, these carvings are not reminiscent of the city’s Gungan inhabitants—perhaps an indication that some other civilization might have resided near the floating city.

Looking out through the wisps of mist surrounding the Gungan city, Tahiri watched the illuminated dark water ebb and flow around and under the city. She could also feel that someone was watching her, someone who wasn’t one of the many Gungans who gave the Togruta curious and suspicious looks. Turning away from the window, she made her way through the marketplace, where many other species were there haggling over wares. Glancing around carefully and anxiously, she could still feel eyes digging into her, watching her every move. However, she could not seem to see or find the one who was inspecting her.

Whoever is following me is pretty good at being unseen. But I’ll have to take care of them later. I need to finish my own business first, so for now I need to lose them. Flipping her hood up, she concentrated, absorbing a bit of the Force and carefully started changing her features as she rounded a corner stall.

“Do you really think, that you could slip away that easy?” asked a male voice from behind her.

At the sound of the voice Tahiri stopped in her tracks. She noticed that some of the people nearby had started to back away. Well this just great She slowly reached down with her right hand to place it on her saber hilt. "No. But I'd thought that I might try," she sarcastically replied as she turned around to see who this annoyance was.

Stop stalling and get the what you came for, hissed a dark voice in Bentres' head.

Shut up! he growled at the voice. Watching the small Togruta turn around, he figured that he could easily had the advantage over her. He had his trusty S-5 pistol already at the ready. "Well, since you couldn't 'slip away', why don't you be a good little girl and hand over that data disc you have hmm?" slyly smiling, he motioned with his left hand.

"What data disc?" she asked innocently. Tahiri realized that he might be here for the same info she was here for. However, she had not gotten to the meeting point yet, so she did not even have the data. He probably thinks that the exchange already happened.
