9 Dec, 2017 Aul Celsus was awarded 1 Grand Cross Event ID 174578 Target Aul Celsus Award Grand Cross Quantity 1 Requested by Bentre Stahoes Primary reason The interesting part about having two doctors in the Clan roster? I always know at least one of our Docs is on call. Okay, all joking aside, I do want to take a moment to rag on Doctor Celsus. The last nine months have seen him move from a member of the Disciples of Dakhan, back into leadership as the Quaestor as he helped to diagnose potential issues with the House and then to pick up what little slack he has between shaving mice and other laboratory fun to become an ACC judge for two (so far) months. During the War, Aul stepped up to take part in 18 of the possible 28 competitions available to him. Between these and the last nine months, the good doctor has been keeping busy, taking part in 55 competitions and organizing another 2 himself. For his trouble he has gathered up a Crescent with a Topaz Star, a Crescent with a Ruby Star, 4 Crescents with a Sapphire Star, and 2 Crescents with an Amethyst Star. Far from happy to bring glory to just himself, Aul has also worked with his Aedile and Battle Team Leader to encourage competition and activity in his House. He has also been fine-tuning the Disciples of Dakhan to be a fair challenge to gain admittance and to remain within. Because of this we have seen increased metrics within the Battle Team. Beyond happy to sit on his rear, Aul has also continued to adjust scoring to ensure that it neither becomes too easy nor too hard to attain if one is determined. I have to admit that one of my favorite things has become when he has shared statistics and encouraging words/news over the last 5 reports Aul has written for his unit. Leading the call to action, Aul has earned 40 Clusters of Fire, 17 Clusters of Ice, 10 Clusters of Earth, 16 Clusters of Graphite and of course 18 Seals of Wrath in the War. Not unimpressive at all. Much respect. Writing has proven a strong suit for Dr. Celsus Aul was also selected to represent Clan Naga Sadow as our champion in the War's ACC "invitational" event. Though most of his writing activity has been over 3 ACC battles, Aul also wrote 3 RO posts to help his team qualify during the War for a total of 1114 words along with another 30 words over 3 fiction activities. He has also cleared 10 courses in the Shadow Academy- while most members are more or less "done" with the institution once hitting Equites- and earned an additional 2 degrees since his last promotion. When I look over the things that Aul has done since achieving the rank of Savant, I can clearly mark the work he has put into making sure he practically exudes excellence wherever he finds himself. House Shar Dakhan is a better place for the his being a part of it, both in continuing the legacy of the previous Quaestor and looking for ways upon which he might improve his sub-unit. I look forward to seeing what else Aul brings to the table in the coming months and wish to present him with a Grand Cross as a thanks for his service over the last nine months. Well done. Bentre Stahoes Proconsul of Clan Naga Sadow Bentre Stahoes, 2017-12-09 19:34:59 UTC Additional reasons There has been a lot said here for Aul, we were up against each other for the job of Quaestor and I lost, It was a great thing though because Aul is a great friend and someone who can truly teach things to the people in leadership under him. Erik, Aul, and myself have a great working relationship and I know we will lead House Shar Dakhan into the future of Naga Sadow. Aul has always done his best to lead from the front and that policy is one I have always held myself. His ability to get stuff done, even with his hectic schedule of research in Real Life, is an inspiration to his entire house. We can learn much from Aul as a leader and a Person. This is well deserved and I am glad I could say a few things. Adept Kanal O'neill, 2017-12-09 13:01:47 UTC Aul led House Shar Dakhan through the 12th Great Jedi War with aplomb, with his House earning 690.61 points. This would have put the House in 7th place had it competed as a Clan. Despite that, it still outscored several other Houses within the Brotherhood. The Clan also had a total of 13 participants, out of 18 members. This is a 72% participation rate, which is higher than most of the other Clans. I can say that Naga Sadow got its position in the GJW through the member's participation and dedication to the Clan's wellbeing. Throughout this all, Aul has been working long hours in his real job, which stopped him from being one of our aces that hit 27/27 comps. Instead, Aul managed to complete 18 competitions. Add to this all of the work Aul has done as Quaestor, including the successful addition of the Disciples of Dakhan Battleteam, which he took stewardship of and pushed into continued existence after he came into the role of Quaestor. This has been a big success, as it has encouraged activity in an almost dead House. With the interest from the GJW, I look forward to seeing what Aul does next to continue House Shar Dakhan's story. Congratulations on your Grand Cross, Aul. Your work as Quaestor is invaluable! Consul of Naga Sadow Professor Sanguinius Tsucyra Entar, 2017-12-09 19:07:31 UTC
9 Dec, 2017 Kojiro Keibatsu Sadow was awarded 1 Grand Cross Event ID 174577 Target Duke Kojiro Keibatsu Sadow Award Grand Cross Quantity 1 Requested by Bentre Stahoes Primary reason It is always good to see when a person really presses their nose to the grindstone. Seriously, it is sweet when you see how much a person is willing to prove their dedication in their Clan's time of need. Kojiro is one of six Sadowans who stepped up during the recently finished Great Jedi War by participating in all the bins of the War. More than that, Kojiro participated in the full 27 competitions that he was elligible to participate in during this period. Which, though I suppose this goes without saying, means he earned 27 Seals he can earn to his trophy case. Adding to this excellence, in taking part in the Run-on portion of the War, he earned himself a Bronze Nova alongside his RO team. This not an unimpressive feat. Even his recent large-scale event activity, Koji has remained busy. He has led House Marka Ragnos in two seperate capacities over eight months since his last promotion- spending two months as the Aedile of his House and acting as Quaestor over the last six months. In this time he has organized 16 comps for the Clan and remained active in his own competitive corner, taking part in 48 competitions on his own- bagging a Crescent with Sapphire Star for his work. Despite his own busy real life, he has tried to keep the House informed and entertained as he was able. It is notable that in addition to his successful Below Zero event, he also run a smattering of other little competitions. He has also visited the Shadow Academy on a few occasions over the last few months, passing 4 degrees and adding 2 degrees to his record. Koji has continued to game, draw and write since his last promotion, having earned 12 Clusters of Fire, 402 Clusters of Earth, 7 Pendants of Blood (over Star Conflict, Battlefront and Destiny), 25 Clusters of Ice, 16 Clusters of Graphire and a single Legion of the Scholar. I do want to stress, that gaming is not all that he does, it just seems to be a rather focused little bit with 5 PVP matches and 29 PVE activities. He has taken to written combat with 5 battles in the ACC and toward crafting narratives and stories. He has spun out 3129 words over 5 fiction activities. Though, his true excellence could be seen as he helped create 3 posts in the GJW XII RO thread, contributing 1689 words to help his team take third place. I could continue to gas on about his accomplishments, but the man's actions speak for themselves.Kojiro has also kept his House informed and motivated through the medium of 5 reports. I could continue to gas on, but looking over the records, it seems that Kojiro's accomplishments and efforts speak for themselves. Koji came to the Clan's aid and we wish to thank him for his hard work. It is my hope that Koji will take this Grand Cross as a small token of our thanks. Bentre Stahoes Proconsul of Clan Naga Sadow Bentre Stahoes, 2017-12-09 19:36:05 UTC Additional reasons Koji's gotten to that point in leadership where he's come to realise that he's not interested in rewards. He has quickly realised that the true reward is seeing one's members succeed and boy, have his members succeeded. Under his stewardship, House Marka Ragnos earned 1,655.9 points. This was enough to put them in 5th place if they had competed as a Clan, beating off Plagueis and Tarentum. His House also had 13 unique participants out of 15 members, which is an 87% participation rate!!!! While Naga Sadow came a close 4th, it was hard fought and well earned. Our members put forth a massive effort when I and my fellow Summit asked them. Kojiro led from the front, completing 27 out of 28 competitions. The sole competition he failed to complete being the ACC Phase II event and thus out of his reach. Kojiro encouraged the members, sent out emails and has come up with constant ideas on how to move the Clan storyline forward into 2018. Which I can guarantee we'll be using some of them, despite Kojiro being an Iron Throne loving traitor!!! I ask a lot of my Quaestors, but I also leave them to their own devices in order to let them have some sense of individuality and let them thrive. Kojiro has paid that back to me. Despite him asking me not to reward him, I've decided to ignore the request, simply because I can't ignore the work he's done. Kojiro continues to show the drive and contribution to Naga Sadow that will see him hit the upper tier of the Equites in the future. Congratulations on your Grand Cross, Koji-poo, even if you'll shout at me in pm after you get it. Consul of Naga Sadow Professor Sanguinius Tsucyra Entar, 2017-12-09 18:58:57 UTC
