Raider Jon Silvon has reached the required 23000 XP to reach the rank of Equite 3.
Promotions are one of those things I love writing because it's the best way to show that a member has truly earned something. With the xp system it's so easy because do things, get xp, get medals and promotions. But, it's still a grind and one that Jon has fought for a long time to reach this level. His tenacity to dig in and get things done both as a member of the Exarch staff and most recently as a member of Sunrider's summit is amazing. It is without a doubt something Jon excels at, being there for the members and being willing to do the work to help them. And now we're here to recognize that attitude.
Jon is one of those members that might not always be talking, but he's always available and always watching to see when he might be needed. And he has become a powerhouse of activity in his own right. Since his last promotion, Jon has managed to net himself an impressive trove of treasures, that include his first Sapphire Blade, and he's also gotten advances in nearly every society we have. He's served the Exarch staff for more than a year now and has more than a year of collective leadership within COU itself.
It's with a happy heart and a sense of pride that I recommend Jon Silvon for his promotion to Equite 3. It's been a long road and you've gotten there, my friend. Congratulations and well done. I'll see you in the next one.

Happy to recommend Jon and say how glad I am to have him on the team helping me with everything as an awesome Aedile. His work ethic is amazing, especially when I'm running around trying to get to things as quickly as I can, he's always up to the task with a creative idea and a great helping hand full of support. I'm happy and proud to have him as part of the sunrider team.

Over his ongoing 9-month term on Exarch Staff, Jon has been an active and engaged member of the team. He reviewed/approved (excluding previous manual submissions we used before the automation) 28 RPs. This used to also require spot-checking with members for DM vs DM-less activities, which has now been automated.
Jon has contributed to our RP Society expansion ideas with reviews and item descriptions that even if we don't get to go live, were still valuable time/commitment to creating something cool to help motivate members. He has also helped review updated policy and encouraged/answered questions for members of the RP community. Additionally, he has run multiple RP Competitions that were Envoy Corps-sponsored to help make sure there has always been an RP activity available to members even if nothing else is going on across the club or their respective unit.
