Primary reason: One of the first things I did when I joined Sunrider’s summit was interview every member of the house to see how things were going and if their needs were being met. I asked about battleteams in general, but never the incumbent BTL. However, I heard about him. Members of Tython Squadron were quick to bring up how much they liked Jon, and based on my own experience as a member of the team, I was not surprised. In addition to his less quantifiable actions as a friend and mentor, Jon has organized 35 competitions in the six months since his last recognition. This would be a respectable number for a Consul or core DC member but it is, at least in my experience, almost unheard of for a BTL.

Jon is also an active member of the clan in his own right. He’s participated in 22 competitions, 1 ACC match, and earned 2 SA degrees. He has taken in 16 Clusters of Ice and 3 crescents. He has also contributed directly to Odan-Urr’s growth by recruiting Haytham, earning himself a Scroll of Indoctrination.

It has been a pleasure to work with Jon, and it is likewise a please to recommend him for his first Grand Cross.
