Sinking down in a mire so black

Picking up the broken sword
You shake it towards your lord
"What have you done?"You scream
Hoping, just wanting it to be a dream

But there you stand
Looking up at the blood stained sky
Your weapon in hand
Prepared to die

Waiting to fight
Prepared and ready
Keep your blade steady
For soon you will show your might
