Hey all.

I apologize for the day of delay with the report; after Saturday, I've just been wiped out. We spent the day doing practicals, MCI scenarios, taking tests, and 2 1/2 hours cutting up cars with the jaws of life. THAT was fun. If anyone really wants to feel a testosterone overdose, I suggest taking an extrication class from a fire academy (*hint*become a fireman, heh).

Anyways, onto the news! Biggest stuff out of the way first, I've gotten a hint, along with Rekio, about what our ships from Starfighter Gains/Sith War rewards will be. Goat is just waiting on the official approval from Jac before releasing the ships, but what we should be getting, I really think it's going to be good. There's a good compliment of ships, with a wide-range of usefulness, etc. Fictionally, we're set... for now. ;)

Independance Games are coming up; for those of you who weren't around for the Games to celebrate the Split last year, you should be getting a good dose of stuff on the second time around. Last year saw some very cool, very interesting events. I'm still not sure what mine will be, but I hope to have something cool going on.

The Great Jedi War (GJW) is slated to begind directly after the Independance Games end. For those of you who haven't yet participated in a GJW, this is like the Superbowl, the Championship games of soccer, the World Series of baseball, just basically what everything within an entire year is supposed to culminate to. This is where we get out and shine, and show everyone how much we are capable of. We had a great lead-up with the Sith War, and I have a feeling, if we can continue like that, we'll stomp a mudhole in the rest of the DB.

We really need to be prepared for the GJW, so if you write, start trying to get your creativity in gear, and if you game, let's work on making sure we're practicing, and tuning our skills, as well as being prepared to play anywhere, and anyone. We've got some of the best talent in gaming the DB has seen; Rekio Corsair, the PCON, and Lenzar Entar were the top scoring pilots in the 2nd and 3rd (last) Sith War, respectively. Cannabisia, QUA of Cestus, was one of the top scoring members of the Obelisk RoS, and really helped push Cestus up to the top, where it belongs.

We also have some excellent talent, and amazing, active members. In Tridens, we had the great participation of people like Oberst, Zeno, Welshman, Daryus, and Licah, along with the rest of Tridens; Cannabisia, X-Pilot, Zill, Scorpio Sith, Elessar and the rest of Cestus who really helped stomp the Obelisk RoS; and we have a lot of talent, and great, new members representing Gladius, Anshar and Aari leading the way, old school greats like Ciara, Kidouses and Telona, Knight Camile, Jason Hunter, Ma'arkhan, and Poppa K (Bastion Creed), as well as our own latest and greatest, Spears, Dranik, Onwai, and everyone else who makes this Clan great. I apologize if I din't list everyones' names, but each and every one of you make Tarentum great; you all are what this Clan is about, and I'm very honored to be able to serve you as Consul.

With the talent base that we have, and the experience we have to spearhead, and guide the way, we should have no problem dominating the upcoming Great Jedi War. For those of you looking for a place to let your skills shine brightly, and stand out, this is definitely the place to do it. And I'd like to make sure that everyone has a chance to really put their best effort forth in it.

I'd also like to take a minute, and thank everyone for the honor I was recently given. For those of you who don't know, the project I have been working on with Rekio, the system of grants and titles, is one that Rekio is conducting; all titles and grants are given through his authority, with my blessing. Just this weekend, Rekio, along with the confirming voices of others, granted me the title of Grand Chamberlain of Tarentum. While I'm still not certain I've done as much as I could, I truly appreciate this honor, and I appreciate the honor I have to serve all of you, and I just wanted to let you all know, I appreciate everything you do for the Clan, and to have fun with all of us.

As far as the awards received in, and for the Sith War, I'm going to let Rekio email everyone, and note all the awards received, and honor each of those individuals. There also may be a few other items Rekio will wish to touch down upon, so I'll let him take care of that, as well.

As a final note,s omething Poppa K (Bastion Creed) happened to mention to me, some of you may be interested in the Expanded Universe aspects of Star Wars, such as the books, comics, action figures, etc. that are a part of Star Wars. I'm going to be working to make note of places you can look for this info, and major things coming out lately. Each week, I'll try to touch down on another thing or two coming out that may be worthwhile. For now, here's the sites I'll be looking at for that info:

We really do have one of the best Clans going on in the DB these days, Tarentum; I've had it mentioned to me by certain DC members who shall remain anonymous. Tarentum has been made into the Clan that it is, and always has been, by the members. You are all what really makes us rock. Just know that we can do anything we put our minds to, Tarentum. I say we put our minds on dominating the Great Jedi War. Who's with me?
