PLA Consul and Wiki Tribune Open for Applications
Applications open for Plagueis Consul and Wiki Tribune
Today I am opening Plagueis Consul and Wiki Tribune for applications. Applications for both positions are due by end of day March 31st. Please CC the DGM on applications for either position.
Consul of Clan Plagueis is open to applications from across the Brotherhood. Plagueis occupies a unique niche in our Brotherhood, as our only Clan that fully belongs to the Dark Path. We are looking for a veteran member that can continue to build on the previous Summit's success with developing an active and engaged Clan while directing the unit towards the future. Consuls are expected to be in constant contact with their summit, be available for their membership and regularly communicate with them through a variety of mediums (e.g. email, Telegram, and reports), and be an active participant in top-level discussions related to the Brotherhood that take place between summits and the Dark Council. There are no rank requirements for applicants, but a proven track record of leadership at the House or Clan level is a requirement, as well as the ability to work as a member of a team. Applicants should identify areas of strength in the clan, as well as areas of potential improvement with a set of immediate, short term, and long term goals for the unit (30/60/90 day plans are alright as well). While external applications are welcome, applicants must demonstrate a working understanding of Plagueis for consideration. For any additional questions regarding the position or Plagueis itself, do not hesitate to reach out to myself, the Deputy Grand Master, or our new Herald, Selika.
We are also opening Wiki Tribune to applications. The Wiki Tribune is responsible for the development and maintenance of the DJB Wiki, and as such, he or she will oversee a staff that maintains standards and formats in use across the Wiki. The roles and responsibilities of the Wiki Tribune are listed in detail on the Wiki. We are looking for a member with substantial experience on the Wiki for this position, with at least some knowledge of more complicated Wiki-coding (and the interest in learning more, where necessary!). Prior experience on the staff of the Wiki Tribune is a definite plus, but not a requirement. Applications should contain at minimum all relevant experience (both in terms of the Wiki and in leadership, as this position does manage a staff), short and long term plans for the Wiki and its Staff, and three examples of Wiki content that illustrate a member's proficiency with the Wiki - particularly any examples of formatting or templates (it is okay if other members have edited this content as well, but an applicant will be evaluated based on his/her contribution). As a Tribune, members may be in a Clan, or hold additional leadership positions, so long as they do not interfere with performance in either position.
In addition, there are a few other positions open around the Brotherhood. Applications close tomorrow for Social Media Tribune. Taldryan is looking for a Proconsul. Clan Scholae Palatinae is looking to fill Imperium Quaestor. Naga Sadow also has open Summit Positions, as well. These are excellent opportunities for members across the Brotherhood to get involved and make a difference.
