Dark Council
The Path to War

“Show our might.” The order has rung out through the Brotherhood and its seven clans. After years of attacks from their enemies, the Brotherhood will flex its muscles and go on the offensive. The primary target? The Children of Mortis. The Field of Battle? The Ethereal Realm, a mystical place of great connection to the Force and home to endless possibilities.

Yet it is not just the Children who seek to use this realm for nefarious purposes. Telaris Cantor, the former Grand Master of the Brotherhood, also seeks to use this realm's power to create his long-desired Eternal Sith Empire. The Brotherhood is the key to the plans for both enemies.

Elsewhere the Principate continues to grow into a powerful conglomerate of systems seeking to better themselves and those around them. The Revenants unknowingly have begun to develop a relationship with the Collective, who are once again building their might in an effort to snuff out the Force once and for all.

Arcona
A Prey Become Pet

The island of Tekpantli was a small and unassuming island simply minding its own business, and might have been left alone if it weren't the resting place of one of the ancient Force users on Selen that styled themselves as gods. In the case of Maustli, an illusionist and terror-projector, his rest was literal as he conveyed his powers from his cryogenic stasis to his loyal island subjects through the Dream.

Arcona expected a battle like they had so many times before: titanic clashes with powerful Force users and unrelenting attacks by cultists and caxqettes alike. Instead, they got an unexpected cultural exchange that left several casualties on both sides and no one especially happy for the incursion. But while tensions remain high as Arcona, and especially the Consul, impose Selenian and Dajorran law on the once-isolated community, hope is seen on the horizon. For the islanders, those trapped in the punishing Nightmare of Maustli's powers were freed to live normally, albeit separate from their former friends and family; those loyal to Maustli gained hitherto unprecedented access to medicine and supplies; and the now-mortal "god", though doomed to a normal lifespan without his cryochamber, was spared death or severance from the Force.

This of course came with a price. A price for loyalty, and for information on the other self-styled gods that had once been his allies and his love. How well he holds to that promise remains to be seen.

Naga Sadow
Ore Problems

Sadowans have been vigilant in the policing of the Orian system as of late. The Collective with the shadowy guidance of a rogue Jedi cult attempted to commandeer several shipments of precious ore from the Sepros Mining Outpost. However, through their own greed and arrogance they underestimated the Sadowan forces and were dispatched out of the system for the time being.

Further patrols have garnered nothing more than excessive log of flight hours. Only a few skirmishes with freelance mercs and smugglers have been recorded. However new intel reports have come across secure communications with evidence that the Collective is planning something big. Clan Summit has increased patrols in all sectors of the system, with orders to shoot first and ask questions later. It is just a matter of time before the Sadowans find what they are looking for and yet again impose their will on the Collective.

Odan-Urr
Unity

The Consular Conclave. Seers. Sages. Diplomats, negotiators, and intelligence experts acted as the Jedi Council’s eyes, ears, and voice. Our Consulars nurtured and guided prospective Jedi as they ventured into the galaxy to explore the Force and uncover its mystical secrets. They sponsored archeological expeditions and sealed deep within the Praxeum’s vault items of such great power that not even the High Councilor dared to unleash the powers they contained. During times of strife, they provided medical care. During times of peace, they aided farmers by increasing yields. Their breakthroughs in science and technology have ensured the people of Kiast a prosperous future. Together with their Sentinels, they monitored Kiast for pirates and anyone else who sought to end the peace, which was finally achieved through their kind actions and guidance.

The Guardian Corps. Protectors. Enforcers. Defenders of the Odanite code. They acted as the hands of the Council. Investigating every lead into crimes against Kiast and its inhabitants, they fought those who sought to bring down the Vatali and who posed a threat to the Council. They maintained the vast fleet and gained the respect of their crew as competent and brave Commanders. They trained both Quorahi and Vatali militaries so that one day when it was time for Clan Odan-Urr to seek a new home, they could maintain their borders and protect their own.

While this divide in philosophy once pushed these two great houses apart to pursue their own endeavors, they come together now to strengthen the Clan. Acting as one, united and focused, Odan-Urr will be more effective in our mission to be ”a light amidst the darkness.”

Plagueis
Shifting Sands

Plagueis has been weathering many changes that have put a strain on the Ascendant Clan. The freeing of the slaves on Aliso, the impact of which on the Plagueian military has been mitigated by the droid armies, has had a much larger impact on the rest of Plagueian society. Several members of Plagueis have devoted themselves to helping the former servants of Plagueis find their place in the new societal structure, with the unspoken tolerance of the Plagueian summit. Those in power know that such efforts are necessary, else Aliso would find itself facing a refugee crisis overnight.

Meanwhile, external relations with the other clans have been strained but are holding. Plagueis's recent conflict with the Taldryan Republic on Kenari demonstrated the difficulty of maintaining the accords binding the Clans together against the Children of Mortis for any length of time, leaving Selika Roh anxious to further the prosecution of the conflict between them and the Brotherhood. As tensions build, the alliance of mutual cooperation between the clans cannot hold forever.

Scholae Palatinae
Urgent Statement from the Office of the Vizier

“This is Murphy Umber reporting live from the Monolith. Following the chaos of this evening’s events that saw our Emperor, Kamjin Lap’lamiz, fall victim to a sniper’s attack. Eyewitnesses report that the Emperor was still alive and was whisked to the Monolith where he’s now receiving urgent medical attention. While no official statement has been made by the Empire he is believed to be in critical condition,” Murphy said, one hand grasping her microphone while the other held an earpiece in place. She tilted her head, pressing firmer on the ear piece, nodding along.

“I’ve just been informed that Vizier Thran is preparing now to make a statement,” Murphy said, taking a moment to straighten her appearance.

“Good evening, ladies, gentlemen, esteemed humanoids and non-humanoids,” Thran started, looking both dashing and somber in equal parts. “This evening a horrendous, and unprovoked, attack was carried out by members of the Tiure Hutt clan on our glorious Emperor. Lord Kamjin is alive and recovering here within the Monolith. I would like to give a special thank you to the medical teams which are so diligently tending to our Emperor,” Thran said, taking a moment to dab at his eye. Pausing just long enough to obscure if there ever was a tear. “Reluctantly, I must take the mantle of command of the Empire pursuant to,” Thran snapped his fingers at a smallest biped, known to many at K’vin, who squeaked and provided a datapad. “Pursuant to Imperial code 1.28.3c.98a, in the event the Emperor is incapacitated the safety and security of the Empire must be maintained and the Vizier will take control until such time as the Emperor is no longer incapacitated or his heir(s) are of age to take control of the Empire,” Thran recited callously, tossing the datapad back at the biped.

“Effective immediately I have ordered our forces to strike down any presence of clan Tiure within our space. Martial law has been enforced upon Ulress and all assets of clan Tiure have been seized. When our Emperor recovers it will be to a safe and secure Caperion system! For the Empire!”

Taldryan
The Caleria Affair

Caleria, the sister city of Port Kasiya, has cut off contact and network connections with the rest of Taldryan. After the massacre at Nery's Field involving tampered weapons which were supposed to be locked in stun mode but instead were in full-blaster mode, the political situation quickly began to deteriorate. No sooner than it was identified that the weapons and the crate had a definitive chain of custody back to the Caleria Weapons Plant, which is under the watchful eye of the Caleria Board of Governors, V.O.D.O realized his connections with the city had been cut.

Initial attempts to contact the Governors ended up useless, with every attempt ignored; both to the Admiralty of the Taldryan Republic Naval Fleet Headquarters and even to the Lady Second herself, Supreme Chancellor Cassandra Oriana Tyris. With great apprehension and reluctance, she has chosen to have a team quietly enter the city from a hidden passageway in her Villa in the Marid Plains that only she and the former Grand Admiral knew about and infiltrate the Weapons Manufacturing Plant to learn the truth of what happened. In the meantime, she is planning to travel directly to Caleria herself in an attempt to meet with the Governors and defuse this potentially destructive situation.

What dangers lie ahead in the shadows of what once was always friendly territory, home of the Ostara citizens that fled after the ion storms?

Vizsla
Dier's Eve

The entire clan felt the oncoming storm. War was on the horizon. It always seemed to be. The Brotherhood fleet was being outfitted on Arx and the Dark Ascent had seemingly shut down to outsiders. Vizsla’s contacts in the city had grown reluctant to talk and even Shooter was having trouble getting information from his spies. If Korvis knew anything it was that no leaks from the homeworld of the Brotherhood was just as telling as a giant billboard in neon announcing their intentions.

Of course, Vizsla was now not much different. The Saxon fleet and army were being fitted with supplies. Daemunn had effectively been shut off to outsiders and with the Kote Ky’ram complete on Zsoldos, traffic to the planet itself had lessened. The entire system knowingly or unknowingly seemed to be in a state of stress. Soon, the forces of Clan Vizsla would be unleashed. This time hopefully on the soil of their enemies. The hunt for Su Well would have to wait.
