“And that is it. Young Violet has been sent as requested by the Council, perhaps we’ll even see her again,” the Director of the Dajorra Intelligence Agency, Lucine Vasano, stated, completing her report.

Kordath and Rhylance stood around the command intelligence center’s holo display, the map showing the ships of the Arconan Expeditionary Force assembling into formation. The Invicta II sat prominently in the center, it's status as the flagship of the fleet of mostly light vessels clear. Dusk station was on the edge of the map, and the Wrath of the Dawn was lumbering its way over from its usual position of guardianship. The Destroyer class vessel outweighed and outgunned the AEF’s flagship by a substantial amount, but moving the command staff around at such a late hour would be foolish.

That others would assume the Wrath, being the largest and most heavily armored ship in the force, was the actual ‘head’ of the fleet was not an advantage they intended to squander either.

“Somethin’ is comin’,” sighed the Consul, looking away from the display. All the intelligence they’d been gathering for months suggested their nearby neighbors in the Principate were going to be drawn into the Brotherhood’s conflict with the Collective.

“Is there a chance to avoid the disaster?” queried the Doctor. Across from the Chiss stood another of his race, the Sith, Aldaric who shook his head.

“A battle is inevitable, and shouldn’t we use it for our advantage?”

The firey haired Director shook her head, “Not a battle. War. This won’t be so simple as a single battle. But, it should give us an opportunity to strengthen our own relations with the Severian’s leadership.”

“Agreed,” grunted Kordath. “We just gotta make sure, whatever tha Collective pulls, they can’t put the blame on Arcona. We’re too close ta turn the Principate into another enemy.”

The Arconan summit stood in silence, staring at the holo-map through polarized glasses, the notations attached to smaller craft drawing eyes. It was the lists of personnel being transported, troops and Shadesworn alike. No fight was without casualties, and many of those assembling on the fleet would not be seeing Selen again.

“We go to fight for some peace,” muttered the Ryn, grimacing.

War, war was coming. Again. At least this time they’d seen the signs of its approach.

Arcona was ready. Arcona was prepared.

That’s right kids, War is upon us! Firstly, if you are NOT IN THE ARCONA WAR CHAT THEN WHY ARE YOU NOT IN THE ARCONA WAR CHAT!?

Also, check HERE to sign up for the War Gaming Brackets. Sign-ups end on the 19th site changeover time so get in there! While we don’t KNOW that these are the only Event Long options for gaming, its a very real possibility, so do your part!

And, if you go HERE you’ll see our playground for the War, the Lyra 3K-A system. It is never too soon to start reading up on where we’re headed.

I cannot stress to all of you, my fellow Arconans, how important it is to participate during a War. Do the things you can knock out quickly and then focusing on the things you enjoy to push for novae or Top Ten placement. If everyone does their part, we’ve got this War in the bag, and can reclaim that vaunted title of FIRST FRAKKING CLAN!

That said, it’s BRIBERY TIME! Not only will doing the things and the stuff earn the Clan points, but it’ll also tie in with our Credit House Incentive Program that you all have been earning for the Houses! The usual credit payout for your House’s will be increased by a factor of...well we’ll sort that out after the War. BUT!

For each House member that clears 100% Bins (not comps, but hits EVERY BIN), your House will earn an additional 100,000 Credits after the War! For perspective, most months the Houses earn between 60k and 100k. You all have the chance to earn your Houses some major money!

So get it get it, don’t forget it, DO THE THINGS!

  - Kord will be doing his best to avoid the frontlines, his job is in the rear, where he can do the least amount of damage.
- Have we finished construction on Selen's oribital shield yet?
  - I keep taping the foil bits together but it's taking a really long time.
- I would like to place a request for five kyber crystals, two virgins, a handful of pincerbugs and a hundred bottles of the finest Corellian whiskey one can find. For, the war, yes.
  - Well you're out of luck on the virgins, best I can do is half a dozen bottles of local hooch and some crystals people claim have 'healing properties' but which science can't confirm.

  - Look, raiding parties all the way to Csilla is just not viable. It's in the Unknown Regions on literally the other side of the galaxy. Offering bonus payouts for 'blue-skinned, strapping recruits' is, I'm told by what passes for our Sentient Resources Department that this is discriminatory. Guess you'll have to rely on charm alone. ***

  - I Ditch about a third to half of the Clans, rogue out anyone who hasn't had ACTUAL activity (participation) in the last six months, same for Title holders to keep things from getting bogged down in the past.

  - I Sure, why not, Selen has plenty of islands, I'm sure there's no dangers in importing foreign creatures!
