Greetings and salutations my fellow Sadowans,

What a month! Awakenings has concluded and I am extremely proud of my team, which aptly consists of mostly new people, who scored first place as a team. Also congrats to Atra for scoring overall first place and of course to everyone else who placed.

In personal land, my PC broke which has been a big source of trouble, but luckily that’s soon to be fixed. I also got appointed to PROF of the Core department, so that’ll keep me busy plenty. (Do exams!)

Master-Student Program

Just like last time, I can’t stress enough that our Master-Student Program is incredibly important, as it can help you grow and find your place here with us. So sign up, whether you’re an eager Student or a willing Master. The experience will enrich the both of you.

We have a very healthy upkeep of both Masters and Students right now. Most of our younger Masters have been assigned students, with the older Masters now coming up on the list. Keep in mind that your Order does have an impact; if you switched to a NFO, I will try to pair you up with a NFO student. Of course, since these Orders are new, there’s only a few to go around.

Competitions

• First, we have Inarya running her ongoing Tuesday Night Trivia easy participation and new knowledge!

• Turel from Odan-Urr is running Dark Brotherhood: The Gathering where you create a Magic card, based on a DJB character.

• If you’re a part of Devil’s Shroud or Sapphire Squadron, you’ve got Incursion, a three-part competition for both battleteams.

• Finally, the Antei Contract Bureau is still going, details of which can be found over here. Character progression in competition form!

Special Recognition

This month, we have two powerhouses that are racing through the ranks! I am of course talking about [Maru] and [Aexod]. Both have joined recently and have wasted no time in tearing through everything we’ve put in front of them. If they keep this up, they’ll surpass our old powerhouse-duo (Tasha and Bentre) with ease.

Naturally both of them have taken part in the Master-Student Program, which has given them even more resources to draw from when going through their promotion requirements.

Getting To Know The Clan Ask the RollMaster

I have made the (potentially unwise) decision to take questions for this report. As I could have guessed, I got flooded with em, so here’s a nice long list.

Bentre asks: What marvel superhero would you consider yourself?
Daredevil. Not in his beliefs, but in his fighting style mostly.

Bentre asks: What does orange taste like?
Like sky.

Bentre asks: What roll do you see Marcus playing fictionally in the coming months? For that matter how does he view the Inquisition being perpetrated by Pravus?
Marcus will try and get in with the Inquisition, seeing as he looks very Human, he might just pull it off.

Tasha asks: What does the roll master think of his former apprentice?
The Rollmaster is very proud of his former apprentice. She should keep up the good work!

Tasha asks: What beginning advice would the roll master give to new members?
Communicate and participate. Participation helps with the promotions and to establish yourself. Communication helps with making friends, and gets you lots and lots of information.

Bentre asks: What is Marcus's favorite beverage? (Both alcoholic and non)
Cola. And no alcohol. :)

Sang asks: When are you going to visit us in the UK?
When you switch the Euro and stop being so damned expensive.

Tasha asks: What is Marcus’s favorite dish?
Macaroni with pork!

Sang asks: With such awesome new members, what are you doing to help them.
Nothing, they help themselves. :p In all seriousness, I keep up with their accomplishments, talk with their Masters, and offer guidance when needed, or when activity falls. All-in-all I'm pretty much on top of what our new members are up to.

Bentre asks: If you had to pick your favorite thing about the DJB, what do you most enjoy in this club?
Helping people and fiction. Even though, I barely have time for fiction some days, I love reading what you all cook up for your characters.

Tasha asks: What do you see as Marcus’s biggest strengths
His ability to predict. From simple things like what path will a thrown object take, to what ripple will a decision cause, to how a person will react.

Bentre asks: What do you see as the largest challenge being Rollmaster?
Keeping members active is definitely the biggest challenge. As long as people keep in touch it's pretty easy, but it becomes harder once they lose interest or even stop replying to emails.

Sang asks: What plans do you have for the future for the position and the clan?
After this December I want to look at streamlining the recruitment and joining process some more. When the Vendetta slows down a bit, I also want to see about forming a team that'll go about recruiting members from outside their direct sphere of influence, like other communities, etc.

Bentre asks: How will Marcus being a former Krath play into future fiction? Did he shed that identity completely when Satin started killing?
Marcus will always be a Krath at heart. The esoteric secrets of the Force are so much more interesting than stabbing a person in the face. He will hide his true nature, and try to get in with the Inquisition, like I mentioned earlier.

Sang asks: Will you ever make up with Locke?

Well he is very pretty. I'm not so sure what Sang will think about that though.

Sil asks: Whats the secret of your sexy smell?
No showers and lots of beans.

Bentre asks: Pepsi or Coke?
Coke. Always.

Sang asks: Will you fake marry me so I can get Dutch citizenship?
Sure, you get to fight my fiance over the ring :p

Bentre asks: How does Marcus feel about Vexatus following Awakenings?
Again, the open Runon :)

Sang asks: Payback is a bitch, isn't it?
Revenge is a dish best served cold, my friend.

Bentre asks: If a certain Shadow planned to usurp you what would be his best strategy to achieve said goal?
To not even bother.

Atra asks: So... How 'bout those Black Guard?
Look for my message at first light of the fifth day, at dawn, look to the Summit.

Conclusion

You’ve all been amazing and I’m proud to see you guys kicking ass every day, even though some of you spam my inbox by being awesome. I hope you’ll all continue the trend that’s being set this month. I look forward to your graduations!
