A New Dawn: Part 2

Good day ladies, gents and everything in between, looking at you weird aliens, time for another fun-filled catch-up report from the last two months. Now, these aren’t intentionally meant to be every two months but when one winds up on a fortnight-long holiday out of the blue which cuts the month in two, well that kinda removes the ability to do much of anything. So back to our regular programming from now on!

As you may see above a certain banner still exists, and that's because Phase 2 of the New Dawn event begins in June. Four weeks of competitions and fun. This time broke down into two parts with five comps each week. Really putting you lot on the spot. Expect everything from trivia, to gaming with a healthy dose of fiction and graphics!

In this part, we have a new way of living to look forward to. With the assault by the Collective upon Orion, we find ourselves fleet based. Marka Ragnos discovers a mysterious supply base and investigates only to come face to face with what could be there most powerful enemy yet! Believe me, I have been excited for months to finally release this reveal about who we are fighting and will be harassing us for the next half a year or more. So buckle up, it’s gonna be wild! Expect the fiction to be released sometime at the start of June along with a tentative start date of about the same time.

Brotherhood News:

Passing of a Friend.

Usually, I would start off by doing the Houses news and praising your accomplishments, welcoming our new guys and telling you all about what's been happening. But I feel something more prevalent occurred in the last couple of days that I wish to bring it up and pay my respects. Yesterday we were informed that the beloved snowman, Frosty, had passed away. Now to some of you, this won’t mean much but to a lot in HMR we’ve participated with, talked to and enjoyed our time in this club with the Snowman, even if he was a pesky Tarenti, and so this is the reason I am bringing this up first. It’s never easy to lose someone you admire or appreciate as a genuine person and Frosty was certainly that. Mav will be posting up a report soon about it and so I wish everyone to go and pay their respects when it goes up.

Shroud Syndicate.

So onto the more happier news. The Shroud syndicate is now live! All you artsy types can go earn things now and rank up, apparently I am already a Rook at Rank VI and earned some sweet loot as well as credits huzzah! I won’t go into it too much but instead, link you to the super fresh report from our dear DGM.

So I think I basically covered what’s coming up in the next month or so above, which kinda takes the thunder away from this section. But I wish to congratulate and say fare thee well to Tasha, Etah and Darkhawk on their new roles. Well done to Locke and myself for placing 1st and Second in the Inferno Clan event. A big well done to Muz & Evelyn (Aexod) for their Seals of Loyalty (you can hear the Seals clapping in the mess hall now, I believe they are being taught tricks). We also have a few names to welcome into the fold so I shall list them here and say welcome one and all!

I am not a fan of writing reports, never the best at them so I thank you all for taking the time to read and I hope you will all be looking forward to the upcoming event.
