Introduction - New Hoth Event - Suspicion on Solyiat

Ladies and Gentleman of Hoth,

It’s time to take our first steps into creating actual House lore, not to adding to the already in progress of building the planet and people of Solyiat. Most of you have become aware that over the last 8+ months, I have slowly been introducing a NPC which most of you know has been communicating directly with me in secret since we met during the Royal Shindig RO.

Now is time to start telling her story, but we still don’t know who all the players are. Therefore, you are all now enlisted to take on a series of missions to ferret out the good and the bad guys. Who can we trust and who are the people threatening our new home?

The following Event will take place over the next 34 days broken up into 2 halves. Which the first half will run from August 7th to the 24th and the second half will run between August 23 to Sept. 9th. Yes the two halves will overlap a little but this will give both halves a full 18 days per half. Also this was done due to a major American holiday falling and the Sept. 4th (Labor Day). So to prevent the event from ending on or near a holiday we pushed the end date back.

The Run-on and Solo fictions both have multiple paths to choose from: one taking place in space and one taking place on Solyiat. This story will have two fronts so there will be many ways to approach this situation. Oh and most importantly as I mentioned in my report. Member submissions WILL impact the next part of this story. Like always the winning entries (or major elements) will become canon but any awesome, fun, exciting or the most creative ideas from all entries will be fused together to create the next installment of this storyline.

We all hope you have fun with this event and look for a feedback form in my September report, which I’ll say now will be delayed to near the end of the comp. You know due to the holiday. So without further ado I know present ….

Full Duration - August 7th to September 9th, 2017

• SoS: Build-A-Station - Esca Asked about in for my last report and BAM! Here it is as a Event Bonus competition.

1st half - August 7th to August 24th

• SoS: Intercepted Transmission - Another one of Celery’s Ciphers.
• SoS - Act I: Create an Ally NPC - Create a wiki article for a Ally. Ever want to give Zoya a CS or someone else? Go for it.
• SoS - Act I: Cluster Race - Straight forward comp in two parts.
• SoS: A Scene to Remember - Draw us a pretty picture.

2nd Half - August 23 to Sept. 9th

• SoS - Act II: Cluster Race - Part 2 of the cluster race.
• SoS - Act II: Create A Villain NPC - Now tell us about our new eniemies?
• SoS: Pop the Lock (mobile) - A “fun” and easy mobile game for you to enjoy. :)
• SoS: Identifying Mark - Factions need seals and symbols.
