The Left Wing of Dread Sends

Welcome to my first report as Quaestor of House Ajunta Pall. I am humbled and thrilled that Teylas has selected me to serve as your Quaestor. This house has an outstanding reputation in terms of member activity, and I hope to see that continue. There are a lot of really great things on the horizon, both for House Ajunta Pall and Clan Plagueis as a whole, but I’ll get to that later.

I want to take a moment to say farewell to Selika Roh di Plagia, Esq. (aka Slagar or Slags) as he moves up to take over as Proconsul of Clan Plagueis. In his tenure as Quaestor, Slags has done so much not only for House Ajunta Pall, but for Clan Plagueis as a whole. I have learned so much about what this Club truly is from him, and I’m extremely fortunate to have had the opportunity to serve as his Aedile over the past few months. Slags will drop what he is doing to help any member with any problem they are having, from gaming to graphics to writing. I wish him all the best, and I have a feeling that when Teylas decides to hang up his hat, Slags will be next in line as Consul of Plagueis!

In other news, there’s some cool Star Wars stuff going on now. First, the new mobile game, Star Wars: Uprising launches on 10 September. Looks like Diablo 3...but with Star Wars!

Second, last Friday was Force Friday. All the new products associated with Episode VII launched. Lightsabers, legos, figures, and all sorts of awesomeness. Even the GM got involved! Succumb to your inner child and go spend all that hard earned money on toys. You know you want to.

A New Blade Rises

It brings me great pleasure to welcome the newest Aedile and Blade of the Fallen, Kelly Mendes, to House Ajunta Pall. Kelly comes to us from House Karness Muur, where she most recently served as the battleteam leader for the Apostles of Syn. Kelly brings an outstanding “go-getter” attitude to the team, and I am extremely fortunate to have her as my battle buddy. I could go on and on listing Kelly’s accolades, but I’ll let her do that in our featured House Report segment: The Blade Sends.

The Blade Sends

Hi, as you’re now aware I’m the new Aedile here in HAP so I figured what better way to introduce myself to you all than give you a bunch of stats, so here we go. Since August 15th (Last report I was involved in) I have amassed 96 Clusters of Fire exclusively from Pazaak, I’ve gained 10 Clusters of Earth from Star Conflict which I may revisit at a later point. Star Conflict also earned me a Pendant of Blood, I helped Ood out with Essentials 4: Ranks to get a Scroll of Foundation as well as being the first person to ace both the new Sith and Gray Jedi Order COREs in the SA.

So that’s my recent history, I’ve also for the past 3 months or so been serving as the BTL in AoS which I am sad to leave but the clan needed/wanted me here to help out so here I am. I hope to get to know you all better, maybe through an event Drac and I are planning before the dual-clan event with Tarentum that’s been mentioned quite a bit.

Mo’ Competitions

Make no mistake about it, Restoration was a HUGE success. House Ajunta Pall came out in force and really showed what this club is all about. The event was so successful, that we’re looking at doing another one! As Kelly mentioned in her introduction, the Clan Summit is in talks with the leaders of Clan Tarentum in preparation for a joint event! These events have been highly successful with other Clans within the DJB, and I’m pretty excited that we’re going to take part in one.

Kelly and I are also very interested in running a House-level competition similar to one of the Restoration rounds. When we run this will depend on when the joint event with Tarentum happens, so keep your eyes peeled and be ready to go head to head with your fellow House members in the near future!

That said, neither of those events are going to start for a while, and I know how you Ajunta Pallians love to have stuff to do, so I issue you all a challenge!

A competition goes live on 10 September, and it’s all about learning! I challenge all members of HAP to pass as many Shadow Academy Courses as possible over the next three weeks. You can find details of the competition here. Get out there, take some tests, and earn some degrees. Most SA courses wins!

For you writers and ACC fans, there is still an opportunity to take part in the Rivalries competition.

Final Words

What an awesome way to bring the summer to an end. As we move into the fall, there’s a lot of great stuff on the horizon. I look forward to seeing you all bring your A game for whatever the next event is. We have a great deal to get ready for...i heard there’s some movie coming out at some point in the future.
