It’s time for Spooky Season! (Which is also my favorite time of year!) There’s a lot of fun happenings going on right now, and a House plot I’ve had in the works for a while now, all of which I’ll get into below in the report!
The first screams began near the southern quarters—darkened alleys where the protestors against Lord Kaelen Anasaye had made their homes. Glass shattered under clawed fists, as echoing growls and screams began to fill the air. What began as a disturbance soon became a nightmare: neighbors who peered from their doors found their fellow citizens half-transformed, eyes clouded red with fever, teeth blackening into jagged fangs, bodies twisting into snarling Rakghouls. The plague began to spread like fire, as the creatures stalked through the streets, transmitting their disease with a single scratch or bite.
The city’s quarter withered into a panicked frenzy. Street lights dimmed one by one. Homes and businesses emptied. From behind steel doors, the remaining citizens listened to the wet crunch of feeding, the dragging of nails across concrete.
House Hoth’s banners quickly appeared at the crossroads. Their militant forces marched with haste, armor clattering, blasters and sabers primed, as their resilient voices echoed commands into the din of chaos. Containment. Soldiers swept through the city like a net, forcing the Rakghouls into a quarantine zone. Streets were barricaded with steel walls, and makeshift medic zones were set up at the perimeters.
Yet in the midst of terror, another figure rose. Lord Kaelen Anasaye’s new estate, having finished construction on a few areas, opened its gates to those in need. Messengers carried his proclamation: sanctuary would be given to any who sought safety, so long as they swore loyalty to him and the Vatali.
Inside the estate, Lord Kaelen stood proudly before the arriving citizens as a savior. For every bow, for every pledge, he promised food, shelter, and protection from the beasts prowling the streets.
An emergency message has been issued from the Governor to all House Hoth members, with the task of leading an investigation on the recent attacks— And to delve into the quarantine zone, alongside soldiers, to hunt down the remaining Rakghokuls that lurk in the night.
For additional competitions, check here for a list of currently ongoing ones, as well as Seal’s Round Ups posted in the Clan Odan-Urr Discord chats (Thank you Seals!). There will always be end dates attached to each competition, for your ease of decision making on which competitions you would like to sign up for. All Competitions End At 1759/5:59pm CST.

Hey everyone! Your friendly neighborhood blueberry has taken over the seat of Aedile! This was a sudden decision made in an attempt to help as much as I can, and to give Nero a much needed rest.
So— a bit about me. I’m called Tor or Siv, and even more rarely Rumi for those that know me off discord. I’ve been in the DJB for over 2 years now. I started my leadership journey while in House Galeres in Arcona, becoming their Aedile and then their Questor after Ood stepped down.
I’ve been apart of HRLD staff and I’ve been working as Praetor to the Emissary for some time now.
Before the Brotherhood, I’ve been in a handful of leadership positions elsewhere. For over a decade now I’ve had hands in PR and HR positions in some way or another. Continuing on to less formal stuff— I enjoy art (especially graphic design) and writing, science, health, and all things nerd.
I’d say I like long walks on the beach, but me and the sun aren’t friends.
I look forward to meeting you all and creating with you. The character of mine, Nildea, who will be taking up the mantle of Aedile is a Kiast-born Sephi noble who failed her Jedi apprenticeship and instead took a more clerical role in the order. She eventually became an Orator for the Jedi and the Vatali Empire and has been teetering on a knife’s edge when it comes to her own personal feelings about Anasaye and what her position calls her to do (do with that what you will).
Siv signing off!
First of all, I know there’s a lot going on this month. With that said, I encourage you all to participate in what you can without stressing, and focusing on what activities here in the Club bring you joy, whether that be gaming, some spooky comps, or art.
On a more personal note, back when I first joined as a member about exactly a year ago, one of the things that immediately caught my interest were the Halloween activities. I was super excited for this time of year to roll around, so I could draft my own spooky themed comps, and now I finally get to do that!
Additionally, the next two House events after this will be a bit more relaxed, with a fun surprise in November and some House Hoth Life Day festivities for December. Thank you to all who participated in the activities and voting during Phase 1 of House Hoth’s stand, which will play a larger role in our developing House story for Phase 2, and will be continued in January.
Until then, enjoy some spooky Rakghoul chaos, and thank you for all that you do fellow Hothians!
