Greetings my beloved fellow Plagueians! This isn't so much a report as it is an announcement.
It’s wonderful having the opportunity to be back on the Clan Plagueis Summit. For those who don’t remember or weren’t there, I was the Quaestor of House Karness Muur between 2017 and 2018, I was the Aedile of House Ajunta Pall between 2014 and 2015, I’ve led a couple of Battleteams over the years, and at one point I was the Magistrate to the Fist in charge of SWTOR. With that experience, I intend to do my best to fulfill the needs of this new role as Aedile of House Ventress in a way that aides the Summit in improving the Clan overall and making this a much more fun and interesting place for our current and future members.
All this basically means so far is that you can now officially ask me questions and I am now officially required to answer them to the best of my ability. I also will be sharing more one-on-one time with you during events and relaying whatever pertinent information needs sharing. It also means that you’ll get to see more competitions from me. Thus I’m going to start off my appointment to the Summit with a classic Furios-style event with the help of one Azmodius Equesinfernum. It's Christmas in not-quite-July.
Oooh yesss, we did this again. The Vacation on REDACTED gag from 2018! I brought it back!
Clan Plagueis Vacation Zone
Hoth
43 ABY
Chill winds blew across the frozen landscape as the H-Type Nubian Yacht descended through the clear skies of the iconic ice planet of Hoth. Small smatterings of snow rose and fell with the light gusts that scraped the surface and the ice glistened in the light of the sun which offered little warmth. The ship glided down to approach a low plateau that held a menagerie of transport vessels with dozens of droids unloading cargo of various sizes. The yacht unfolded its landing gear before touching down in a makeshift landing zone on the flat, rocky ground.
The ramp lowered with the telltale hydraulic hiss and the tall, cloaked figure of Furios Morega strode down the ramp, surveying the progress. Droids were moving a mottled array of containers off the ships, guiding the cargo to various points around the plateau for unpacking and assembly. Their organic supervisors shouted orders above the gentle howl of the wind, preparing the festivities that the Epicanthix had planned. The lead manager for this project approached the Sith with datapad in hand.
“Everything is proceeding on schedule, Grand Inquisitor.”
“Have there been any problems?”
“Not as of yet, but readings indicate a small snowstorm coming in tonight.”
The Plagueian glanced over the scrambling droids, reaffirming their speed and progress. “Make sure the shelters and heaters are up before it arrives. Anything that isn’t bolted down needs to be secured inside. Will this storm affect the Clan’s arrival?”
“It seems that the storm will be over well before their arrival time.”
“Good, let’s make sure everything’s ready by then. I’ll have Azmodius send down more droids from the Geirskogul to give you a hand.”
“Very good, sir.”
The project lead returned to his work, shouting new orders to the supervisors under him. The Warlord went in the opposite direction, checking on the preparations himself. The droids were unloading more and more cargo for the upcoming event. Containers of cooking appliances and exotic foods were hovered along toward a flat-packed galley that was being assembled. Other containers holding several hot tubs were being guided in another direction. The di Plagia smiled as his eyes landed on the excavators, massive hunks of machinery on their way to dig out trenches and pits for the obstacle course he’d designed for his fellow Plagueians.
“This is going to be fun,” he chuckled to himself as the winds steadily picked up.
As spring ends and summer begins, it seems like the right time for a Clan-wide vacation and training expedition. In the overwhelmingly dreadful summer heat, Furios and Azmodius have decided that the best way to beat it is to take Clan Plagueis to the wondrous winter wonderland of Hoth for this year’s training extravaganza. Thus we present to you the Vacation on Hoth!
