Introduction

"'Ello chaps!" as I imagine Sang would say :P Welcome to my first, and quite late report. This will be a double report from both December of 2014. and January of 2015.

First of all it has come to my attention that I have broken some sort of report combo by not doing the report last month? Sorry to say I really didn't have much to report as I had taken the seat mere days before the report was due. Still, sorry for being a party breaker :P

Since i came o office, a lot has happened. Many new members have arrived, many old Rogues have joined us and even more of these members got promotions. So let's get on with it!

New members

Truckloads! TRUCK-LOADS! We hit the big 60 this month and we are officially the second biggest unit in the Club, trailing Arcona by two. We have 63 members! let me repeat that - SIXTY-THREE! That is a hell of a lot for the Summit to handle so next time you see a Summit member in a hallway of the Arca Praxeum, shake his hand and give him your love. Yoda knows we need it. :P

Remember, this kind of stuff counts as "Summit project" for your promotions and is very likely it will bring you some extra merit. ;)

Wiki updates

Very, very soon (after the GJW ends) I will start assembling a list of wiki pages that need updating and/or refinement. These pages will include NPCs, KUDF unit pages, starships and other pages that are not under the direct supervision of the Summit.

Master/Student and Journeymen Tracking

While I've been trying to follow the Journeymen as much as I can, keeping track of 30-ish people is a wee bit tough. I'm still getting used to it, so bear with me. If you're a Journeyman and have any questions, please, please, please e-mail me: vyrvorsa(at)gmail.com

An important note for all masters: I expect regular reports on your students progress every 1st and 15th of the month. Consider these your monthly reports. if I have to do one, so do you :P It can be as simple as "Everything's fine. we're on track." or a full listing of achievements. As long as I get some sort of feedback, I'll be happy. Please make my life easier.

I've decided to drop this particular practice. We have BTLs and the Aedile to list all the various awards so one more report with a copy/paste reward list is pointless.

Journeyman of the Month

Now we're getting to the fun parts. December has been a bit slow on activity due to Xmas break, however January has been far more productive. while many Journeymen have done their very best to be among the top 5 (members like Jah'aji, Epis Grandshire and Agen Thaer) there is one member who stood out among the rest.

Journeyman of the Month: Junazee!

With 172 Clusters of Fire, 3 pendants of Blood, a Maven in Lore, Pundit in Essentials and 26 Shadow Academy exams with a minimum score of 89, I think she deserves the spotlight. She joined on December 26th, btw! ;)

Great Jedi War XI: The Civil War

Otherwise known as "The Blamening"! If you haven't heard that there's a War going on, you were under a big gorram rock. But just in case I'm gonna give you a short and sweet version. (And totaly not biased in any way shape or form -_-)

Grand Master Muz Ashen has finally found what he needs to conduct the Rite of Immortality and start the Final Way. Arcona, Naga Sadow and Tarentum have joined his cause. Oh the poor souls.

On the other hand, former Grand Master Jac Cotelin wants to disrupt their plans. He has Taldryan, Scholae Palatinae and House Odan-Urr at his side. We joined their cause because it's the lesser of three evils, of course. We fully expect them to backstab us in the end. :P Rebel team is best team!

Did I say three evils? Why yes. There is Esoteric's New Order. He just wants to watch the world burn and have fun doing it, while also building his own new Empire from the Brotherhood's ashes. Fun guy. Did I mention Plagueis is on his side? What are they thinking?

I fully expect everyone in the House to give their utmost to participate, and hopefully place, in this event. There are several reasons why. Let me elaborate:

You will be gaining valuable experience! Vendettas are rare, but when they do happen it's the best experience you can get for any activity. The competition is hard, and the tasks put before you are harder. This will make you grow. Trust me on that.
You will be helping your House grow! Vendettas are a sure way to reach Clan. If we do well in a vendetta, the DC may consider us the best candidate for clanning, next time around. Remember that if we do Clan, you get more opportunities for leadership, events, competitions and activity. Clanning is b-e-a-utiful!
Should you place very high in a vendetta, you will gain recognition! While many don't consider this important, being named Hero of the Great Jedi War is something of a rarity. Having such a title brings with it a lot of respect and recognition.

So get out there and do what has to be done. For the House, for the future Clan, and for yourselves most of all!

A lot of new members this month. Like, a ton! That's very good, though. I'd like to see this trend continue. GJW XI is in full swing. So get out there and kick some butt. I actually dunno what else tow rite. Flu sucks, I guess. Sorry for missing my last report and breaking your perfect report chain, Rhiann :P
