Introduction

Greetings, Plagueians.

The Pro Bowl is now closed, and all of a sudden we're almost at the end of the year. 2025 has absolutely flown by, and the new year is right around the corner. I do want to highlight the amazing work everyone has done in the Pro Bowl this year, with 14 unique participants submitting 269 total entries to the event. Well done, everyone! But, now that the Pro Bowl is in the rear view, it's time to see what the future holds…

Operation Zerek

The House Summits are bringing back a classic mini-event format—the Clan Plagueis Lore Drive! You may have seen the groundwork laid with recent wiki additions, including articles for House Ventress’ headquarters and Hyperdyne Systems Interstellar (the latter of which was the DJB Wiki Featured Article in October!). Now, we need your creative muscle to finish the job and make your mark on Clan lore. Our House Summits proudly present the newest iteration of the Lore Drive: Operation Zerek!

Operation Zerek will be an event spanning three weeks, starting on November 10th and ending on November 30th. This is your chance to compete for influence over the final lore additions. Your submissions will impact the next changes we make and may directly affect events we have planned for 2026. So fire up those creative motors and help shape the future of Clan Plagueis!

One QUA out, one QUA in

In case you've been living under a rock, you might have missed Nora Olen's recent ascension to the position of Proconsul of Clan Arcona. I know that Nora will do an absolutely bang up job as PCON, and Arcona is lucky to have her. All of us on the Plagueis Summit are thankful for all the work she has done, and are supporting her as she moves on to taking the number two spot in one of the historically powerhouse Clans in the Brotherhood. Now we just need to make sure to warn Bograt to hide the scissors.

With Nora's departure, that leaves the position of Tyranus Quaestor open. With the opening, I could think of only one person I wanted to elevate into that role. Furios has been a fixture in Clan Plagueis for the last 15 years (predating even my move to our fine Clan) and has done absolutely great work at every turn. Recently he has been killing it as Ventress Quaestor, taking a leading role in spearheading a lot of the work of our upcoming competition series. With his vast experience and recent track record of stellar work, it seemed almost insulting not to offer him his own House and the advancement that goes with it. As such, everyone please offer your congratulations to our newest head Tyrant.

Calling All AED Candidates

With Furios's move to Quaestor in House Tyranus, that leaves the position of Aedile open withing House Ventress. As such, after discussing the matter with Tahiri, we've decided to open applications for the position. This position is open to all applicants, whatever unit they're currently in, and there are no rank requirements or no minimum service time in the DB as a whole. Applications will be open for just over a week, from today until Sunday November 16th. Please send your applications to both Tahiri and myself for review, and good luck everyone!
