Dinaari Quaestor Open for Applications

As you're no doubt aware, we had the sad responsibility of accepting Kazmir's resignation from Quaestor last week. Kaz had been in the position since we reclanned, and he was honestly our first choice for Dinaari Quaestor. Losing him from the position is a hard thing to bear.

But bear it we must, and now we must continue moving forward. Rian, myself and Howlader are now accepting applications for the position of Quaestor. Generally, we have no set requirements for the position beyond being active on IRC and fast to respond to email. What will set you apartment from the other applicants are your ideas, and your enthusiasm to take Dinaari forward, and help continue rebuilding one of the most dominant Houses in the Brotherhood's history.

We're considering applicants from anywhere in the DB, so long as you're willing and able to get right to work. We're all eagerly awaiting your applications.. and if you have any questions, feel free to hit myself, Rian or Howie up on IRC.

Gathering Darkness Chapter 3 Coming Soon

Chapter 2 of Gathering Darkness recently wrapped up, and while we still have three teams scouting ahead fo Nicht Ka, we have watched Cole Drayson heroically defend Taldryan's great hall with Gorn daa'murk's help. Furthermore, thanks to the intelligence work of the recently joined Selika Roh, we have identified the traitor in our midst.

Please be on the lookout for this Ranil Vane, and take any measures possible to apprehend him alive.

As for the next chapter in Gathering Darkness, I outlined the plot updates last night, and will be working on getting the fiction, and events ready for a Friday release!

Fading Light Roundup & Prep

As you know, the second round of Fading Light is entering it's final stages, with four members of Taldryan still competing in the tournament. Both Halcyon and I have finished our final posts, and Selika/Aidan are skill duking it out in their match. Be sure to mosey on over to the matches to see what is going on in the battles, and offer your support to our combatants.

What is up next on the docket is probably going to be a short turnaround between the end of the ACC Tournament, and the final round of Fading Light. That round you can expect to see a return to the more traditional fare of gaming, graphics and fiction competitions to tickle your fancy, so dust off your joysticks and your keyboards, this stuff's gunna get real.

A lot of these will require intense writing, wiki, and graphic skills, as well as being able to put up with me yelling at you a lot, and your being able to accept awards like a champion.

So, this month has been a killer for me, evey single weekend is being dominated by some major event or another, and that continues with my annual guys weekend in Niagara Falls. I'll be out of touch from Friday until at least Sunday, so bug someone else if you have anything pressing. Next weekend I'll be moving to a new apartment, and unsure as to when I'll have internet back, so I'll be taking leave from Sunday to Wednesday as well.

After that, supposedly though, my life will settle down.
