The Temple of Darkness

Orian System — Naga Sadow Territory
The darkness of night began to fade away as Orian Minor began to crest over the horizon. Beyond the morning sun flares, Orian Major’s silhouette began to overshadow its smaller counterpart. The sunlight danced across the thick forest of Sepros, the deep shades of green melted into one another. As daylight grew brighter it exposed the true carnage left behind from the Children of Mortis.
Blood from the fallen seeped into the grounds around the temple. Bodies of the Sadowan Warhost were littered across the land. Next to them were the remains of the converted. The Sadowan Warhost who fell victim to the Children’s fiendish experiment. Their existence transformed into morbid crystalized minions, striking out against their own brethren.
Those fortunate not to fall prey to the Children of Mortis experiment, continued to dispatch their enemy without hesitation of penitence. But the scourge was taxing, brutal. A trench nearly seventy meters long and five meters deep was carved into the landscape. The meteor that crashed down narrowly missed the Temple of Sorrow. Sadowan forces rallied together to protect the Lion of Tarthos as he expelled his Elder powers, yeeting the behemoth chunk of rock into space. Adept Malik Sadow and the Sadowan fleet pulled the rock further into space with tractor beams before shattering it into space rubble.
DarkHawk stood at the edge of that trench examining its path of destruction. Pausing to watch the sun rise for a moment. The Shaevalian closed his eyes giving thanks to Gyssh'tyn for another day of life. The warmth of the sun rushed over the assassin’s blood stained face.
“Proconsul Sadow,” the voice of a Warhost Captain, broke the assassin’s moment of silence.
DarkHawk turned slightly to acknowledge the young officer. “Yes Captain?”
“Sir, I have SITREP that Consul Stahoes requested but he is not in the vicinity. I would like to pass that on to you.”
“Not in the vicinity? Has anyone had eyes on the Overlord?”
“I am unaware of his current status sir. I will send out our scout teams to find him.”
“Make it so Captain, post haste.”
Sons and Daughters of Sadow began to emerge as Orian Minor was now in full view. “What a mess this has become.” Stepping over one of the corpses littered on ground, Tasha’Vel surveyed her surroundings and wrinkled her nose as she approached the Shivalien Proconsul, frowning a bit at only seeing him.
“Have you seen our Overlord, Bentre?”
“Not since he engaged that last push of CoM troops with a volley of grenades.”
Turning towards the answer, the Twi’lek marauder watched a familiar dark blond haired individual in Krath robes approach the pair.
“Nice to see that you managed to survive, Locke.”
“All in a day’s work, Tasha.”

Sadowans
Summit would like to kick off September with our first chunk of Clan fiction. I would like to thank Warlord Tasha'Vel Versea our newly appointed Proconsul and Adept Bentre "Drake Mallard" Stahoes for all the help putting this little fiction project together. Definitely cool to collaborate with the two of them!
The aftermath of GJW XV Ascension has left the Clan regrouping and restructuring. Sepros will be licking its wounds for some time after what the Children of Mortis did there, nearly destroying the temple. With the CoM retreating at the moment, securing the system may keep us occupied. We cannot have any more threats lurking about. Not to mention we have the former Consul doing god's knows what now. A lot of contingencies to keep us busy, nonetheless we will adventure together!
So dive in and enjoy!
Now I must say on this next bit of data, it was just recently pulled before the changeover of Summit So I walked right into this data bank of luck!. There was a Clan Assessment completed with some very positive data that needs to be showcased for 21/22 reporting period.

Just a small snapshot of some of the AWESOME accomplishments that CNS has done over the last year or so. If it is confusing, trust me we are in the same boat! I had to have Adept Kamjin ”Maverick” Lap'lamiz run me through it all,so now I know just enough to be dangerous. The bottom line is that you guys have been AWESOME!!!!
There has been a huge increase in gaming which is FREAKING awesome! Keep that up! That increase has resulted in a lot of well deserved clusters, crescents and just all around “Hey CNS you ROCK accolades!” The only thing left out thus far was Black Guard Comps which is still being graded. We will get those out here soon with a small Clan Update report. Tasha and I still need to set up Sept - Dec BG Comps so we will release those all at once!
For September it looks like we will have another chance to dive into another great opportunity and showcase our abilities. ProBowl 2022 will be kicking off in just a few short weeks. Take a look at the Plagueis Report below where their Consul is spearheading another great endeavor for the Club!
On the front of activity and kudos, everyone please welcome Knight Konar Auryus-Saas back from the rogues. He has been tearing the Star Wars Squadrons up daily since his return. Very COOL!
We would also like to welcome two more new members that joined us in August
And that is not all! There will be a lot more comps coming your way. We have our plans being worked out and our next Clan/House event will be a priority topic at our Sept Summit Meeting. Now to keep you busy head on over to the comps page and support your brethren and dive into those comps! If you are up for gaming I believe the plan is for CNS groups to get together to game on the weekends. I believe the time frame for both days will be 1pm (MST), so correlate your time zone and jump on with the rest of the Sadowans!

FINAL THOUGHTS
So it's been a pretty crazy first month in the seat. I would like to thank our PCon for all her help especially at the last minute after her rise to power! And of course I need to thank Adept Stahoes for entertaining all my ”Hey I got another question”
I look forward to teaming up with Sadowan Supremacy and our brethren from the other Clans and having a great time during the ProBowl. Make sure you are all in it to win it!
