Tyranus Quaestor Report 8: The Hat gets hyped
Hey Tyrants,
Welcome to the latest house Tyranus Report, I am your host TuQ “The Hat”. I hope everyone is enjoying the start of the summer season and is staying safe and healthy! May was certainly a month to try new things out, we saw members trying out new games for clusters, lots of members jumping into RPs for the first time and a lot of members trying out the new team event format introduced for the May the 4th Event! All-in-all, it was definitely a fun month!

You may have heard, but Slagar recently put out a report announcing Christmas Pro Bowl is coming early this year!
It comes as no surprise but the Pro Bowl is my favourite time of year, new teams consisting of members from all over the DB? Check. Three weeks of quick, fun and sometimes ridiculous competitions? Check. All sorts of chaos leading to bragging rights? Check! This event has it all! This is the 7th annual Pro Bowl and this time it’s bigger than ever before with the ENTIRE Brotherhood participating and more participants means the addition of a third team to compete alongside the Rotworms and Frog-dogs, the Loth Cats!
My favourite part about the Pro Bowl is the scoring structure. In this event, participation is king. What does that mean exactly? Well simply put, you can do more to push your team to victory by simply making the effort to submit a valid submission in as many competitions as possible than you can by only submitting to a few competitions and placing. Does this mean you shouldn’t try to place? Not at all, but what it does mean is you are rewarded far heavier for trying things out and just having some fun! Every single entry, from every single member is important and could be the deciding factor between victory and defeat.
With the performance I’ve been seeing out of this house for the past few events, I have high hopes for everyone and I plan on reaching out to everyone to try and beat our participation record from the Vendetta with Taldryan and aim for, dare I say it? 100% participation!! Maybe I’m an optimist, but I truly do believe in your abilities and think that we can do this, even if we won’t all be on the same team for the event.
The Pro Bowl will be running from July 3rd-30th and be divided into 4 weeks with week 1 being the prologue to determine team drafting order and week 2-4 being the main event! It’s coming up quickly and I can't wait to see you all there!
