It Begins.

War

The Great Jedi War XIV has begun! Now is the time to be excited! There will be a plethora of things to do with a variety of what you can do. I strongly urge you to participate in at least one of each bin for that participation! This helps the Clan immensely, and it also shows the rest of the DJB that Vizsla will not back off. It is our chance to strike back, while also making an enormous pile of credits!

Be sure to head over and read the introduction fiction to better prepare yourselves for the fiction prompts we are, and will be, encountering. I have to say, I really enjoyed it, and it actually feels like there is someone/something to fight against this time around. Spoiler: There will be explosions.

If you missed the signups for the Heroes of the Storm or Jedi Academy brackets, fear not! You still have the opportunity to take part in the event-long bin! The PvP Ladder competition only requires a single match to complete that bin! Your best chance of catching an easy match would be Hearthstone, as the game is free and can be played from your phone. Just be sure to complete the tutorial matches before you queue up.

Our Clan leadership will be pushing out information on small group/team sign-ups soon for us to start getting into those few specific competitions. They will also set up the Clan Run-On, to include a posting order and expected time frame. It will be a collaborative effort to ensure we make it to the end with everyone posting at least twice for that participation. If we truly put ourselves into it, we can definitely come out with a placement. I look forward to writing with you all when it all begins, as well as seeing what contributions you all have to offer!

Participation matters. I’m really hoping to get full bin participation from everyone in the House. I will do my best at leading the way with not only full bin completion, but also 100% competition completion. “Why?” you might ask. I strive to win. I would love to see Clan Vizsla come out on top. It is where a Clan of Mercenaries should be. So I ask you, why hope? What have you got to lose? There’s no time like the present! Fight with me!

Recognition

Congratulations to Farrin and Esca for getting Magistrate positions under the Regent and Herald respectively! You guys represent not only House Wren, but also Clan Vizsla as you impact the Dark Jedi Brotherhood as a whole. Well done!

In addition to snagging some excellent positions, our House members also managed to pull in a couple of Seals of Loyalty. Congratulations to Zoron on grabbing one, and lucky me for getting the second one!

In Closing

We find ourselves finally being released from some of the COVID-19 restrictions, but we must also stay safe. Remember to keep your social distancing a priority until it is completely over! Take advantage of the extra time you may have come across to spend more time with your immediate family and internet friends. I have thoroughly enjoyed being able to be around more for my twins as they grow and learn.
