There’s a few faces in Clan Naga Sadow that are always there, quietly working on competitions when they have time, helping to build community whenever real life gives them the opportunity. Jades A Sadow is one of them. It’s been a long while since I have had the pleasure of writing a recc for her, but it seems quite warranted now. She’s participated in 21 competitions, earned almost fifty thousand credits for the clan, and ranked up in both the Grand Master’s Royal Guard as well as the Shroud Syndicate. It’s time that we recognize her with a token of our esteem, in this recommendation for a Steel Cross. Please accept this with our thanks and hope to see you in channel more often. Every year on May 4th, we award Seals of Loyalty to members nominated by the DC and Consuls--typically one per DC, two per CON. Normally I would have asked for those nominations last week, but this year we're doing something different. In November 2015 (we used to do SoLs twice a year), eagerly awaiting the release of The Force Awakens, Sarin awarded SoLs to all Clanned and positioned members in the club. This year, we're taking a page out of Sarin's book: every member of the club who has logged into the website between January 1, 2025 and May 4, 2025 will receive a Seal of Loyalty. That this club has not just lasted but thrived for 30 years is a remarkable testament to our community, the leaders at all levels who have kept the ship on course, and especially our members who keep engaging year after year. Since her last recognition, Jades has competed in 23 competitions, 4 of which were during our Great Jedi War. has written 5490 words over 7 fiction activities, has written another 4255 words over six run-on posts, and even managed to squeeze in a PvP match. She has gathered four crescents: 1 Crescent with a Diamond Star, a Crescent with an Emerald Star, and two Crescents with a Topaz Star. She has gathered Clusters of Fire (3), Clusters of Ice (7), Clusters of Graphite (4), a Seal of Loyalty, and of course 4 Seals of Discord for her contributions in the War.

When the cry went up for Sadows, as well as our other Sadowans, to rise up with us to rock the Great Jedi War, Jades was one of those who answered the call. Though life had put her DB life on pause for some time, Jades voiced a desire to get involved in the War effort. For both her willingness to help Naga Sadow in our time of need and War, and her previous activity, I hope that this small token,in the form of a Anteian Cross, will serve as a means to thank Jades for her continued support of the Sadowan Clan and by extension its members.
