He has done so with a commitment to community, to art, and to the members of the DJB. He was already an Elder, but now with an opportunity to show what being an Elder is and continuing to create opportunities and support. He has been so much more than just Herald the past 3 years as a Dark Councilor and an advisor on so many policy discussions and ideas during Mav's time as Grand Master. He has managed a staff finding and fostering the talent of Magistrates and Praetors in the office which saw him working with a wide range of different individuals to maintain the workflow of the office. He has provided opportunities like the Heralds before him in the format of a Herald Tournament while performing great high-quality work on three different Vendettas. He oversaw or directly contributed to the release of so many weapons, robes, and war banners. He left the office with a talented staff trained, qualified, and ready to pick up what he finished himself. Though I only had a short time working with Slagar while Grand Master, I will continue to appreciate his opinions and guidance in whatever form they arrive in. I think he is already a Dark Jedi Master in all but name, and so I congratulate him on making this official and elevating him to the rank. Congratulations Slagar. He organized and graded six events in the most recent Great Jedi War and handled all grading and questions to a very successful event. Selika also contributed graphics and support for the overall event itself and the container. The Herald office has continued to release content regularly, with Solo dossier artwork done in a timely release, Clone Wars dossier artwork and a host of additional robes, weapons and accessories for members to customize their profiles on the site. While keeping up with a staff that manages Warbanners and custom weapons requests for members. Oversaw the Shroud War competition series, following on the one run by Vyr, that ran over six weeks and gave members that created an opportunity for some competition around graphics. While also running the graphics competitions and battle plan events in the latest Great Jedi War and graphics in the Rite of Supremacy before that. Organizing a total of 30 different competitions creating graphics opportunities for members. Selika has had a great impact on graphics since taking on the role of Herald, in keeping up with regular releases, managing the talent in the club and keeping engaged with the staff, providing opportunities and mentorship. I look forward to seeing more as I see plans for more multimedia content and rubrics and other plans.
