The desk of Tren Gru’lano, Foreign Aid Minister of the Combined Bothan Clans, was a simple one. It was large, made from a single slab of wood, and bereft of any distinct ornamentation. While he was not entirely opposed to a comfortable workspace - the office temperature was controlled to within a degree, the chair which sat behind the desk was plush and meticulously designed, and there was a collection of delicacies and fine alcohols along one end of the office - the desk was there for the purpose of being a surface to work at, and therefore needed to be nothing fancy. Numerous documents, data pads and forms were sorted into neat piles across the desk in direct order of importance. The one singular item which drew Tren’s greatest concern at the moment was a datapad, clutched in one hand as he stared at it.
This was the state his assistant, Gait Lekuov found him in when she entered the office. The primary concern of the Minister for the past month had been reaching out to the allies of the Clans for assistance with a mysterious plague which had suddenly sprung up on one of their planets. Thus far, no amount of Bothan medical science had been able to make any headway on addressing the disease or even managing to identify its cause. Very few of the partners who worked with the Bothans were specialized in medical research or treatment, and so there had been little in the way of constructive response as of yet. Gait approached the desk and cleared her throat, breaking Tren from his intense consternation.
“It is time for the morning check-in, Minister, to determine if there is anything specific you would like me to take care of today…but if there is something on your mind, I would be glad to hear it first?” Her gentle tone brought a slight smile to Tren’s face, though overall he still looked more than a bit confused. He waggled the datapad toward his assistant, clearly trying to form his words carefully.
“This…this has me a bit confused, though I’m not really sure I should be.” His voice was even, but after long years of association Gait could hear the undernote of slight exhaustion that had been growing since the crisis bloomed. “I received this missive early this morning, via our direct line, from the Clan Arcona by way of their embassy. It…well, it’s a crude drawing of what appears to be their Shadow Lord hanging from a tree limb. It simply says ‘Hang in there, help is on the way’ and I honestly don’t really know what to make of it.”
HELLLLOOOOOO ARCONA! We’ve hit the new year, and I hope everyone is feeling as refreshed and energized as I am! Lots of exciting things are in the works already for this year, and I’ll tell you as much as I can about them but for now details are still being worked out.
First off, we’re coming up quick on the final Cycle of Season 1! A slight delay happened due to the transition to our new Grand Master (more on that later), but otherwise we’re ramping up for the conclusion to Parabellum. This is great in and of itself, but also means that we’re ramping up to another Great Jedi War in fairly short order! I hope everybody can dig deep and we as a Clan can make a strong showing when that kicks off.
We’re also currently in talks with a couple other Clans about some smaller, 1-on-1 Clan events to be organized for later this year. Things are still very preliminary right now, just some “handshake” agreements and no specific planning done as yet, but we’ll definitely have more about this in the next couple months.
Finally, we’re slowly building toward the next step in our ongoing Clan storyline: Veins of Power. We’ve made the first forays into the realms of diplomacy and open relations with our neighbors - both within our system and galactically nearby. But everything in the world of diplomacy is give-and-take, and if that fiction blurb is anything to go off of it sounds like it may be time for Arcona to step up and show its support for our trade partners.
Other than that, I hope everyone is doing well and I just want to remind everyone that you can always hit me up on Discord or by e-mail if you have anything you want to talk about!

Greetings friends!
Can you believe it is 2026 already? Time really does fly by so fast. I hope everyone had a fantastic Holiday. (Christmas and New Year) Did anyone make any New Year's resolutions? I would love to hear them. Lets have a quick check in. Leave a comment below/ the Arcona Discord chat/ email / Discord DM’s.
Not much to say on the PCON side of things. As per previous reports, we will continue to send out weekly emails, as well as once a month competitions for all Arcona members to do. Who can say no to more Crescent opportunities, XP and credits? Don’t forget about the sometimes cursed polls I’ve been posting in the Arcona chat, definitely don’t want to miss that. I need to know if you would rather have feet for hands or hands for feet!
Remember to try your best, do all the things (if you can). My inbox is always open, feel free to message at any time.
