Odanites,
Now that my job isn’t trying to kill me, I have time to present to you the goings on in Odan-Urr. We will be starting a new Seven Pillars event, doing some hiring, finding out who our top Tree-Hugger is, nagging you to sign up for this year’s May the Fourth event and I’ll even throw in some Minecraft updates. So without further adieu, bring you the news...
Seven Pillars Episode III: Ashas Ree
As you may have read from the newest Pulsefeed, our archeological expeditions are getting underway as well as our exploits into tracking down the Black Sun and its agents.
A Race For Relics
A race has begun between the Odanites and the pirate groups seeking to attain ancient relics for the power they possess. Utilizing the Consulars and their discovery of the ancient Sith temple, archaeologists have gathered evidence of another Velastari Temple. Following this lead, a new expedition will begin to unlock the mystery surrounding the Seven Pillar temples as the threat of the Illuminance Cult mounts. The Odanites and their adherence to their code will be tested.
Meanwhile, following the revelation of the ancient Sith stronghold within the Kiast system and the retreat of the Black Sun with a number of relics, the Guardian Corps have sought answers behind both events. With the temple actively repelling any who attempt to enter and the Black Sun proving elusive, a single mysterious message is received bearing a Sentinel Network coded signal, promising answers should they meet them in person.
To kick this off, Aura will be hosting a Seven Pillars Event that continues our adventures so I’ll hand the mic over to her to explain the details.
Some more details
Seven Pillars is a 7 series event that mashes together Star Wars and Indiana Jones movies. Archeology, adventure, booby traps, really smart scientists, and iconic hats abound. We’ve put a Star Wars spin on it and essentially we are following a mystery that started here in Kiast. We found a sort of map room, which led us to other planets with maps that led us to now other planets. The goal is to find ancient artifacts and explore Force mysteries from long ago. It has a strong influence on old Force-wielder artifacts and usually involves your characters forced to deal with the unknown and learn a lot more about long-dead societies and species. It also involves exploring the galaxy and seeing new planets your character may not have ever seen before.
I am pleased to announce that soon another chapter will kick off on the planet Ashas Ree. I’m still typing up the intro fiction for you all but once that is up you’ll see the competitions roll out. There will be five competitions that involve small to medium effort and if there is enough interest I will run a roleplay. To express your interest, feel free to reply to this report with a comment or @ me in Discord in our clan chat. For now, I leave you with a teaser and some links to past events if you want to start reading up. I’ll post a supplementary report once all the competitions are up. Hug A Tree Day ‘23 mini event
An often forgotten (meaning I finally remembered to do something for it) Clan holiday, Hug a Tree Day, celebrates those who stand the test of time and share with us the knowledge they’ve collected over centuries. The wise old Neti. Is there not a better way to honor them than by Hugs?
This event had 28 participants and the scores were very close.
