Teylas stood watching as the Undesirable captives were filing off of the transport shuttles one at a time in a single line. None of them had any idea what was in store for them. None of them knew they were to be slaves. Only that the Jedi couldn't save them from the might of Clan Plagueis. One slave broke off and attempted to run, barely plucking a reaction from Teylas who nodded as Dracaryis, flanking his side, turned to a Ravager giving him the signal. A second later the Undesirable dropped, skidding across the floor of the hangar bay deck before coming to a lifeless stop.

"That's going to get old," Dracaryis mused. Teylas smirked letting out a bit of a chuckle.

The line was seemingly never ending until finally broken by Selika as she and her apprentice, Malice, pushed through the line. Malice, towing an Undesirable alongside her, threw the Umbaran man to the ground.

"What is this?" Teylas asked, intrigued at what significance a slave could have.

"I was able to… convince… several of the other Undesirables to give up the name of their remaining leader," Selika responded motioning her hand towards the ground where the Umbaran was folded awkwardly.

"Stand up," Teylas ordered. The Umbaran complied without hesitation. The Anzat consul stared him up and down, sizing him up. He raised his hand, "Stop the line." It took several moments but the line of Undesriables coming off of the transports stopped; most of them became less of a line and more of a bundled crowd in the confusion of what was going on. Everyone's eyes watching were trained on them, but Teylas' gaze never broke from the Umbaran as he continued to stare at him with a intent, stone gaze.

Finally after several tense moments the Umbaran opened his mouth, "My na--"

Before the breath even left his mouth the Dread Lord had drawn upon the Force to pull his lightsaber from its holster on his belt, to his hand, and with one quick swipe the Umbaran's severed head hit the hangar deck followed by his stagnated body. Teylas looked back over at the Ravagers, "Continue."

The point was made. They were now slaves.

Command Deck

Orbit of Florrum

Dracaryis walked up behind Teylas and Selika as they were conversing in small talk, "Sorry to interrupt."

"Of course. What is it?" the consul responded as they separated to turn towards the Overseer of Plagueis.

"The last of the slaves we captured are on board and accounted for. Some of the pirates were able to escape in ships and took Undesirables with them. We can leave orbit at your command and return to the Anchorage."

"Good, but we have another destination," Teylas responded and he reassuredly put his hand on Dracaryis' shoulder. The Anzat motioned to the starboard side of the command deck where a simple, yet finely dressed Pantoran approached the three leaders of Plagueis. "This is Laren Uscot. He's a bounty hunter who I've been privately employing for some time in the name of Plagueis to take care of some issues we were having with some of our assets in our economic empire. He… eliminated those problems."

"I've come to find it a pleasure to serve Clan Plagueis. I've been treated and compensated… fairly, and well," the Pantoran responded with a smirk. "It certainly has benefits."

"He's also provided me with some intelligence as to where our pirate friends and their harboring Undesirables went. His work is impressive, and if this intelligence pans out I think Mister Uscot will become a more… pivotal asset of Clan Plagueis. Loyalty is hard to come by these days," the consul nodded slightly towards Laren.

"What type of intelligence?" Dracaryis queried out of obvious curiosity.

"An old CIS base," Laren said as he pulled out a small holoprojector which sprang to life displaying a planet. "I just happened to be in the area, caught them on sensors running for their lives."

"I think we need to get the rest of our slaves," the Dread Lord concluded with a grin.

Teylas looked over at his proconsul as she smirked, no doubt at the prospects, he surmised. Selika turned her head, "Admiral, have navigation set a course for this planet."

In case you didn't see the news post, or the e-mail, or all the Telegram chatter, or you've just been living under a rock for the past week: Clan Plagueis won the feud! That's right; after months of planning, implementation, and feuding we emerged victorious. I will attribute a lot of that to the hard work of everyone in Clan Plagueis, but I also want to say that I feel it's a reflection of the community we've built here. The interaction of everyone pushing, driving, and working with one another to be better writers, gamers, and members is what got us through. This is reflected heavily in the team events from the feud and those numbers speak for themselves. I want to also thank Odan Urr for a hard fought feud, and Turel and A'lora for working through many obstacles with Selika and I to make this feud a reality. It wasn't easy, but this was the first one in a long time so being the blueprint for future events meant we wanted to get things right.

And of course, to the victor go the spoils. As Mav indicated in his follow up, the reward for winning the feud was the use of an NPC NFU created for the feud, Cradle Lorne and some really nice dossier candy that I worked with Mav on conceptionally and was produced by our awesome Herald staff. I present a nice shock collar for all those Undesirable slaves we now have at our disposal:

Also a huge shout out to Alishu for placing third overall in the feud!

Quarterly Report

Mav released some of the Q1 quarterly numbers in a recent report (he's been a busy beaver, hasn't he? :P) and to say the least I am very excited at the Plagueis activity numbers. A bit of a reflection: Plagueis doesn't have a lot of competitions going on, but I feel when we do offer them they're of high quality and people turn out big. These are mostly the events, feuds, and the like that we run. We had far and above the highest participants per competition at 9 and participation ratio of 0.79. That is crazy awesome! Plagueis is definitely a hub of activity.

However, two things I want to work on is the amount of competitions we make available to you. Since the end of the feud we've ran a couple individual competitions including these currently running:

It is my intent to offer at least 2-4 different competitions weekly for members to do which will be produced primarily (but not solely) by the house summits. An issue that arises with such heavy activity during events is that I end up hosting those comps. I want to spread that love around as up and coming leaders in Plagueis, everyone aside from myself and Selika, should be in a phase where they're transitioning from a consumer (doing comps) to a producer (creating comps for you guys to do!). This is my attempt to help in that transition because we, the summit, are here to serve you as mediums for your ability to relax and do some fun Star Wars stuff in your free time!

The other issue on the Q1 Report was medals. I talked with Mav about this, and in some self reflection I think it's a huge disservice to you, the members of Plagueis. It was bad timing with the feud being so long, planning it taking forever, we got wrapped up in doing that and overall I don't want this to ever happen again. As a result, that got fixed quickly...

2016 PLA Pro Bowl

Not much has changed in the plans since my last report. I'm still planning to implement the same format as described in my last report, and we're still on schedule for a mid-May launch. A little delay of a week or so may come when a new Quaestor of Karness Muur is chosen to get them up to speed, but other than that prepare yourselves for a little friendly competition!

As a reminder: the event will be run similar to the NFL Pro Bowl where two team captains, myself and Selika, will pick one at a time from members of Plagueis in either house until everyone is separated into two teams. From there the event will commence where several weeks worth of competitions, created by the two quaestors in coordination with Drac, will be up for grabs.

And of course, because competition is always healthy, a pre-event competition will be created to decide who gets to pick first overall!

Speaking of quaestors…

Quaestor Applications Open

Our beloved quaestor of Karness Muur, Eiko, informed me that his real life time constraints were too much to maintain his position. Because he didn't want to do a disservice to Plagueis or Karness Muur, he will be stepping down once a replacement has been found. I want to thank Eiko for everything he has done for Plagueis these past months and hopefully he can return to the summit one day when time permits!

With that being said, Plagueis is opening up applications Brotherhood-wide for the position of House Karness Muur Quaestor. The application period will run one week until Monday, May 2nd at 11:59 PM EST, and all applications should be submitted via email to myself ([Log in to view e-mail addresses]) and Proconsul Selika Roh ( [Log in to view e-mail addresses]). In the realm of qualifications, we’re looking for the following:

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum rank of JM3 (Hunter/Padawan/Yeoman/Lieutenant)
  • 24 hour email turn around time
  • Ability to engage members
  • Fundamental understanding of the requirements of the position of quaestor and all it entails

Preferred/Desired Qualifications

  • 12 hour email turn around time
  • Telegram & Skype/Google Hangout access
  • Prior leadership experience at BTL or higher
  • Basic familiarity with most or all DJB activity systems (SA, ACC, Gaming, etc.)

The preferred qualifications are not requirements, so just because you don’t meet all of them shouldn’t discourage you from applying. Many things are taken into consideration. All applicants should also include any examples of relevant special or unique skills or ideas that they feel they would bring to the table as well.

The deadline is fast approaching, so make sure to get yours in!

Telegram

(This will basically be copied into every month's report for a while!)

Yes, Telegram. Again. Most of the clan is on it, but it never hurts to beat this drum. We have a great Telegram presence that seems to get more and more active every day. If you haven't gotten Telegram yet, you should check it out. The link for the Plagueis Telegram chat can be found on our unit page or you can contact either myself (@teylasramar) or Selika (@Slagar) for an invite into the group.

Nice report boss, and yay Plagueis!!

Great report as usual, boss man.

Thank you for the report, Telyas~ ^_^ And the shout-out too!

can the EQs have some personal slaves for "personal" reasons?

Can I apply to be a personal slave to Teylas? Maybe just for a day here and there? And other days, he can be mine?
