Just wanted to announce a few things between reports. As most of you know, Evant has moved on to become the first Regent of the Dark Jedi Brotherhood. When I tell you he's done some ungodly things with the backend administration to make this happen, let me tell you, it's not an exaggeration. Trust me, I've seen the spreadsheets. Anyway, a big congratulation to Evant! It was an honor working with him as Voice and I look forward to what he does in his new role. Super hyped for Possessions!

New Judge Selected

I got multiple applications for ACC Judge. After reviewing each of them, I have selected Korroth to serve as our newest Judge. Korroth has done a bunch of documentation work for the ACC/Voice staff already, and has (in the past few days) gone through the requisite training needed to be a certified ACC Judge. This process typically includes a mixture of shadowing and reverse shadowing on Matches/Qualifcatoin Exams, but I’m already confident Korroth will be a great addition to the staff. Congratulations, Korroth.

Pilot (S) Minor Tweak

With the totally safe omg yay and exciting addition of jetpacks and jetboots to the upcoming Possessions launch, the team and I updated the wording for the Pilot (S) skill on the Wikipedia reference.

In short, even with Pilot (S) at +0, you can still use a jetpack or jetboots. Just don’t write your character jumping around like a Mandalorian soldier in The Clone Wars cartoon. Typically, a character (NFU more than likely) utilizing jetboots or jetpacks will already have at least a few points invested in Pilot (S). It’s ultimately up to you and how you want to build/play your character.

All changes have been updated in both C-D4WG and the Wiki.

Resolve Minor Tweak

After some fun discussion between Voice Staffers, Atra and I updated the Resolve entry on the Skills guide on the Wiki.

Resolve is one of the core skill attributes along with Intellect and Perception. You can find answers to some frequently asked questions involving Resolve and how it interacts with other skills and powers here

This text has been added above the template box for Resolve to help remind people to check the FAQ for an expanded answer on how Resolve works. Most of the time, people wrongly assume it’s overpowered because they mistake how it actually functions. In short, Resolve is not a one-on-one check off against any and all powers.

And knowing is half the battle.

Further questions, feel free to ask. We’re also looking at how things balance out in the system and can deploy hot-fixes to small issues that don’t require major re-write or code tweaks.
