More lighting issues!

The big news this week is the last Chapter of Fading Light being released! Thanks to Shadow winning the ACC Ladder, Taldryan has a truly commanding lead, but that doesn’t mean we can just hang back and do nothing. It has been some time since Taldryan has proven themselves to be superior to others. We have stayed consistent and hung around at the top, but now is our chance to retake our titles as First Clan of the Brotherhood.

I’m expecting to see everyone in the House push themselves, and get those entries in. There is nothing preventing you from giving your all. These are the times that true leaders step up and show what they’re worth. Now is when we see which of you are truly dedicated to the Clan. Step up and be noticed!

The Druth and nothing but the Druth, so help me Yacks

Due to a series of medications I decided to take at one time, I went ahead and decided to promote Dru! Dru’s been hanging around for a few months now, so may as well throw the guy a bone, right? Oh, probably helps that he did all this activity too :P

So, in the end our House saw another Equite join the ranks. If you haven’t yet, congratulate Dru on becoming the newest Equite of the DB!

You want the medals? You can’t handle the medals!

We had a few people receive some nice shinies this week. Zoron andRaist each earned themselves a nice, new Steel Cross. Gob earned himself an Anteian Cross, while both Chaos and Cat received a Dark Cross. Oh, and some Panda received a Dark Cross for helping out with SA stuff.

Please congratulate all of them on their well deserved awards. I’m hoping to award a lot more after Fading Light is over!

I was just away for a little while!

Due to a bit of a family emergency, I’ve not been 100% around. During that time we had some upheaval in the House Summit. Dru stepped down as Aedile, but we immediately chose Zoron to fill his shoes. Right after that, we made Raist the newest BTL of Wardens. It was great to see everyone immediately stepping into their new roles. It was seamless, and not a step missed. Thanks to everyone for doing their thing, and keeping things humming along.

Just wanted to send a quick shout-out to all the gamers out there. Ekky has really been pushing the gaming lately, with a handful of your really having some great numbers. You can see the specifics below, but keep up the fantastic work! I know we have some great writers, but it’s good to see us gaining steam on the gaming side of things. Here’s hoping this can translate into Fading Light!

Wide World of DB

There’s been a few tweaks made to the Promotheus guidelines. For those of you still being promoted through the Journeymen ranks, or if you’re Mastering someone, then please check this post out. Also, all of the upgrades for medals are being removed, so now your ID-line will show exactly how many medals you have.

There’s a new Star Wars Arcade game coming out. Check out the trailer and then go out and buy me one :P

He of the whoring and the thrusting has released a Wiki report detailing some of the directions he will be going in. He announced his new staff (he has really good taste!) as well as gave information on what he’s looking for in character pages, which can be used to get promoted to DJK. The wiki is a fantastic resource, and I highly encourage everyone to have a good wiki page.

It appears that The Old Republic is getting another expansion. It sounds interesting and has piqued my curiosity, but I got burned pretty bad when they did the starfighter expansion, so I don’t think I’ll be jumping on this one quite so soon.

Last, but not least, the HM report has another new course about competitions, while also giving details of the new Maven and Savant degrees for leadership.
