House Ajunta Pall Report - November - Apply within!

Worst Day Since Yesterday

The first thing you may all notice is… no fiction! This is not an error, or laziness on my part, but rather a direct result of the near future of Plagueis. As has been hinted at for a few months now, the fictions in my reports, and several others, have hinted at a Plagueis-wide event based around the Anchorage. It's our home, but we don't know much about it. A lot of this unknown has created mini-storylines reminiscent of the early seasons of Stargate: Atlantis. Therefore, this is the official announcement of the upcoming Plagueis event centered around the Anchorage! As of now, it is a planned 2-week event which will run about November 19th until November 26th, a small break in between for Thanksgiving, and then the second half pick up about December 1st until December 8th. Events will include some things like gaming, fiction, puzzles of various variety, trivia, hunt the Jedi type games, and graphics.

As many Plagueians will remember, the last event Plagueis did was House vs. House. This one will be different. We will have team captains who will get together 2-5 people from within Plagueis to be on their team. This is primarily to even the playing field and evenly distribute people throughout the event. This will also allow each team captain to play on the strengths of many different people to help their team win first places. Some people are great at graphics, while others are much better at gaming, or trivia, etc. This makes each person pivotal to their team and really need to push their strengths to help their team win. On top of that, we will be following the participation formatting of the previous event so participation counts for your team. The team that has the most points by the end, will win first place overall and bring much glory to themselves as well as the appropriate shinies. So start putting together your teams now. And for the record, this event will be run by Arden and I so we will be unavailable as either team captains or team members. So start getting your teams together now and deciding who your team captain, your representative in this event, will be.

Storyline wise, each team will be a striketeam ordered (or in one case, led by) the Dread Lord with the primary mission of trying to find out what happened to the original team send to explore the uninhabited (lower) sections of the Anchorage, and the rescue team that was sent to recover them. As said before, the Anchorage up until now has had a very Stargate: Atlantis feel, but more importantly the storyline we'll be aiming for in this event will be very Alien based. A lot of dangerous unknowns that have been hiding in the depths for many, many millennia. Cool stuff coming, guys.

In Search of a New Leader

Recently Marduss has informed me that he was going to have to step down as BTL of the Disciples of Dreypa due to having his soul sucked out by a demento--er, I mean school. Marduss has been an excellent Battleteam Leader for Plagueis, doing exactly what needs to be done and excelling at the unique duties on our "battleteam leaders". I use those quotes, because our BTLs in Plagueis are way more than just seat warmers. All new journeymen who join Clan Plagueis are sorted into our battleteams to give them a sort of tight knit community of other new people they can "grow" with. A mini-Rollmaster, of sorts.

As a result, Ajunta Pall is looking for a new battleteam leader that is willing to help these journeymen learn the ropes of the DJB and Clan Plagueis. Since our BTLs are somewhat non-traditional, I'm posting this in my report as I know this isn't everyones cup of tea, whether inside Plagueis or not. So, it isn't that Plagueis isn't active, it's just that this isn't what a lot of people might want to do when they sign up to be a BTL and honestly... I have no clue who might be interested! So let us know. Anyone who wishes to apply should do so via e-mail to both myself and Furios by November 29th. Just tell us a bit about yourself and any relevant things you think would help us get an understanding of your ability to take this unique BTL experience as your own.

  • You don't have to be a member of Plagueis already, as I've said this isn't everyones cup of tea.
  • You should have a 72 hour turn around time on e-mails.
  • Be familiar with the path journeymen take towards Dark Jedi Knight
  • Have a willingness to help as much as possible with the journeymen working on their promotion requirements.
  • No minimum rank is necessary, but already being a DJK yourself wouldn't hurt.
