Introduction

Hello everyone. After having the wonderful privilege of working alongside all of you for most of this year, I’m both excited and honored to start a new chapter as Quaestor!

And without further ado, let’s begin the report!

Aedile

Hello, most of y'all know me but for the ones who don't, I'm Nero. I've been in the club for going on 13 years now. Most days I don't have access to any devices for most of the day due to work, but if you ever need anything feel free to poke me and I'll reply as soon as I can.

Fiction

The recently constructed fashion district of Kaal soared above the heart of the city in a series of raised buildings with towering spires and elevated walkways that stretched across the skyline, a gleaming beacon of architectural opulence. At the epicenter stood the Obsidian Stadium, a large pavilion that had been completely transformed for the runway, with crystalline lights and shimmering glass platforms that hovered above glowing blue water.

Rows of PL-90 Luxury Speeders began to descend, as various famed guests from nobility to diplomats began to make their arrival. Meanwhile, rows of privately hired security surrounded the area, with the eager paparazzi floating just beyond in repulsorlift pods.

A female Kaminoan draped in flowing black silk and silver ringed jewelry stood before the event, surrounded by holocams. “Greetings, I am your Host for the evening, Orai Voscurra, reporting to you live from this year’s Aurellia Circuit, one of the most prestigious runway shows and high fashion events in the galaxy.”

“This year, the newly established city of Kaal has been chosen to host the show, with this marking the end stages of their development of a brand new fashion district. And I must say, everything has been transformed beautifully… But is Kaal City, and House Hoth by extension, truly up to the task?” Orai Voscurra continued, as she addressed the holocam.

“Despite the impressive guest list, we have already received reports of backstage drama. Desari Nyne, a highly respected yet feared name in the world of fashion, was seen absolutely furious after the datapad containing her designs was sliced into. And then we have Rephala Volo, a newer designer to the scene whose name is quickly growing in fame, who has stated that several of her team members have gone missing! A bounty hunter is suspected to be the culprit, as reported by a few workers at the stadium,” Orai Voscurra stated and dramatically shook her head in disapproval.

“Quick! Over there! It’s the new Governor herself!” Orai Voscurra suddenly shouted, prompting the holocams to shift to a female Zelron with long pale pink hair, currently wearing a shimmering silver dress and a silk white cloak as she rapidly walked towards the stadium.

“Governor Syrena! What do you have to say in response to all the issues that House Hoth has been experiencing during this prestigious event?” Orai Voscurra quickly asked.

“I’d prefer not to comment on the issues themselves until our investigation has reached a conclusion, but I strongly believe that House Hoth will get to the bottom of it, to ensure the success of the event,” Syrena Valkar said directly to the holocams, before turning her attention elsewhere towards her datapad as she entered the stadium.

“And there you have it. One can only hope that Governor Syrena’s words ring true. Can House Hoth truly manage to turn things around and save the Aurellia Circuit fashion event, or will Kaal City’s name be tarnished? Only time shall tell… Well, that marks the end of tonight’s report. To all my viewers out there, thank you, and see you again in the next one,” Orai Voscurra finished, just as the holocam cut out.

News

Clan/House

• Tisto has stepped down as Quaestor recently, and I will be filling in the position. First of all, I would like to say that I have learned a lot from Tisto, and he has been incredibly fun to work alongside. As Quaestor, I aim to continue some of the wonderful things he has started up for House Hoth, such as Lord Protector, while also creating new storylines for you guys to explore with your characters, and plenty of fun activities along the way.
• Nero is now the Aedile for House Hoth! A huge thank you to him for stepping up and providing extra help.
  
• For the month of May, Remalia and Seals both earned one Sapphire Blade! Dolot and Rurr both earned one Anteian Cross each! During May, Rurr also earned a Dark Cross, and Dolot earned a Steel Cross.
• For the month of June, Dolot took home a Grand Cross, and Teiko and Catamir have both earned themselves a Dark Cross!
  

Brotherhood

• The Regent Staff has made some changes with increases to salaries for jobs within the Brotherhood, to any of those who are interested in applying for some! Their most recent report has a more specific breakdown.
  
• Speaking of open jobs within the Brotherhood, the Exarch Staff currently has a few open positions, as seen here.
• Vyr has become the Brotherhood’s new Herald! Joining Vyr, is our very own Seals (and myself) as Magistrates. More details on this in Vyr’s most recent report.

Competitions

For additional competitions, check here for a list of currently ongoing ones. There will always be end dates attached to each competition, for your ease of decision making on which competitions you would like to sign up for. All Competitions End At 1759/5:59pm CST.

House / Clan

• Kaal City: Fashion Frenzy, our latest competition that will run from now until 8/31, where House Hoth has been tasked with overseeing the prestigious Aurellia Circuit runway show within Kaal City’s newly established fashion district. We have a few fun comps including: A chance to describe what your character chooses to wear to this event in Dress to Impress, the Race Down the Runway cluster race (Who will be House Hoth’s next top model?), a fun fiction comp titled Threads Out of Place, two graphics comps with the chance to design some outfits, and a NPC Design comp where you get to define who one of Kaal City’s new faces in the fashion world is!

Brotherhood Wide

• Parabellum, there’s still some time left to get those entries in!
• Summer Sketches Showcase, hosted by our very own Nildea Vidh.
• Gaming for Glory Cluster Race and FIST SWOR:TOR PVP, hosted by House Hoth’s Edgar Drachen.

Lord Protector

For the month of May, we have Remalia in 1st place as our Lord Protector with a total of 2,290 points! In 2nd place, we have Seals with 1,553 points! Going onto 3rd is Doon, and 4th with Dolot. Turel jumped into 4th, and Unknown for 5th place.

Moving on to the month of June for our Lord Protector, we have Seals in 1st place with 1,616 points! In 2nd place, Dolot has jumped up with 642 points! In 3rd place, we have Remalia. In 4th place, we have Turel, and in 5th we have Edgar.

Conclusion

I’ve been here for about a year now, and honestly, I’ve been loving it everyday. It is an honor to now be able to serve as Quaestor for House Hoth, and I am beyond grateful for all of you here that have taught and supported me along the way in many ways.

And mostly, I’m proud of all of you. Seriously. You guys as a House have been putting in loads of work, and flying through so many different comps. Dolot and Rurr, two of our newest members, have been soaring through the ranks alongside Remalia and Seals.

Speaking of Seals, I would like to personally take the time to thank Seals here for her Weekly Round Round Ups which you can find posted in the Odan Urr Discord server, to help us all stay on track with current competitions within the Brotherhood.

Lastly, I would like to apologize for the delay in reports, and to ensure that this will not happen again anytime soon in the foreseeable future. There are just so many things that you guys achieve as a House, and these reports serve as a way to highlight those achievements.
