Sadowans, what say you? Welcome to another edition of the Naga Sadow Broadcasting Service! A lot to get into, so I will get right to the meat of the report for the Clan.

Clan News

So let me start off by saying, you all ROCK! We have a lot ahead of us and we wanted to make sure that everyone is primed and ready to dig into all the deliciousness going around. First and foremost we have Seasons still going and have some new comps waiting for us! So there are a lot of opportunities to stake a name for ourselves. Not to mention the boat load of credits we can add to our own credit accounts. I know a few folks are saving up for some big stuff (me included) and every credit flippin counts.

Now, in order to get those flippin credits we need to put ourselves right in the middle of the snake pit. Time to showcase those amazing skills you all have honed to deadly sharpness. Just as a reminder, it's not just the mad amount of cash that is up for grabs individually. There is a delicious twenty million for the Clan if we all dive into the event. We had solid numbers last time, we are building off that and increasing our competitive footprint. The other good thing about this is, it runs for a month, plenty of time to hammer it out! As you may have noticed, the Houses and Quaestors have been removed from the roster, and you will see that the Magistrate positions have taken their place. We will be looking to fill those shortly, so keep your ears open! We’ll also be tailoring some of our fictional concepts and sorting out the details to enrich our legacy and drive the Clan’s future forward.

We say all that cool lingo to hopefully get you pumped up. I know I tend to geek out a bit when I see a plot develop. However, in retrospect, it’s usually me spouting nonsense and the PCon spinning a good yarn, then weaving a great piece of fiction from it! I have to brag on him for a second or two. This kind of fictional development is just in his blood, and we get to reap the rewards!

Truth be told and I know it might just be this ol’ knuckledragger bragging on our PCon again a few ideas have been tossed around. We’ve (most of us old timers) talked extensively over the years, and more recently, about our ancient Clan and where we want to take it. For the sake of a spectacular build-up, we will confirm that Stage I is complete. Now we move to Stage II. We are, and will continue to be, working through those details and putting our final thoughts down on paper. I’m feeling very confident that the fictional ideas and the direction we’re plotting will draw the Clan deeper into its lineage and showcase the full might of our legacy.

Speaking of killer fiction, our PCon spearheaded and finalized a very cool RP that took a bunch of us through our paces in snagging the plans for our very own Harrower. There was a lot of great action and some really cool surprises. I think a few folks will be especially happy with what was discovered and to be able to interact with those discoveries! So, a huge shoutout to our PCon for putting that together for us over the past few moons!

While we get all our inputs sorted and collated, there is plenty of other stuff for us to be diving into. Don’t forget to extend your studies over at the Shadow Academy or try your hand with an ACC match. So on a more personal note here, I wanted to just sit down with you guys and present a little something-something to the entire Clan. When I took up the seat there were a few things I wanted to do, well this little chestnut is one of them. We as a Clan have been blessed with probably one of the coolest NPCs around. I mean this guy is so sought after that the Club itself snagged him fictionally for a while. Moff Simonetti is a badass Naval officer, he is just a cool character to play around with and utilize for fiction. Regardless of how detailed our writings are, one can only ”see” so much as we read. So I commissioned the amazing and talented Angery Tatsu to bring him to life for us. I gave her Simonetti’s PD from his CS and this is the rendition for Moff Simonetti and told her I wanted him on a bridge. I gave him the old school gray/green fleet officer uniform and gave him a dual hip holster rig,

Just a small token of my appreciation to the Clan. Enjoy!!!!

PCon Premonitions

The heat is on! Parabellum, that is. With so many events open, there is a lot of opportunity to take heads and stack creds. I hope that you all will join me, and get all the creds, xp and so forth that you may desire. Not only does it do good things for you (and help you move toward those tasty promotions), the clan gets a lot of creds for fleet and other items that we may need as we continue our Ancient Empire’s expansion.

As DH has kinda hinted at above, there’s some cool fictional reasons coming that help justify some of the database and structural changes we have recently completed. Part and Parcel with that are some neat clan-wide comps to get your own characters involved in the story. Just as Hades, Bentre, Tasha, and Quentin were involved with retrieving the plans of the Harrower, you too can be involved with some cool bits of history that we are working toward, with ties to the Ancient Sith, to boot. While DH and I Debate having it as standalone comps, or waiting until Parabellum finishes up and running it as a micro-event, weigh in in the comments to let us know which would make more sense for you, or let us know in Discord.

I am still working up a proper battlemap for the Diplomatic Station over Inos, and once that is complete, I will be hosting a running RP to interact with your fellow clan-mates and people from other clans that come into Sadow space for our rich history, good trading, and a bit of recreation. I hope to see you all there, but watch this space for notification that it’s good to go. I hope you’ll all dig it.
