Her footsteps echoed down the corridor as Alethia made her way to the brig. She'd made this same journey every afternoon since the council had passed judgement during the retreat from Florrum. It had never been an easy or pleasant trip, but today was the first time Alethia had dreaded to make it.

The bored guard jumped to his feet and saluted when he noticed the Major's approach. Boredom had dulled the trooper's senses too much for him to be a capable watchman, but Alethia suspected Mako could easily have escaped long before now had he wanted to.

"Could we have some privacy this time, Private?" she asked, though her tone left no room for argument. The young man scurried off with a muttered word, and Archenksova turned to face the cell. Henymory didn't bother to look up from the datapad in his hands.

"I can't feel the engines anymore, Major."

"Yes, sir. We're moored."

"Didn't Turel say I would be released when we arrived?"

"He did, " Alethia conceded. Here it goes. "I convinced him to delay that until tomorrow."

"You what?" The Quaestor finally look up from his datapad to glare at his Aedile, his outrage nearly boiling over. Alethia thought she could feel the tingle of Force energy crackling in the air. She knew that if Mako let his anger get the better of him - the way some on the Council were sure he would - that he could kill her before she or the guard could do anything about it.

Introduction and News

Spoiler alert: Mako kills her and then gets executed for treason, so your new QUA is Duke Silver. Your new AED is also Duke Silver. Anyway, welcome to the May Report Extravanganza. It was a relatively quiet month compared to the heat of the Feud, but we saw plenty of Crescents and SA Exams, plus a boatload of merit awards and promotions.

However, the first item of news is bittersweet. After 10 months leading the Disciples of Baas, Lu`aisha Gresee has stepped down. I think we all appreciate the intensity of Aisha's real life schedule, as well as the good work she did in DoB for so long. However, DoB remains in capable hands; Len Iode has taken over the team and hit the ground running with two new competitions and a report.

It's been raining medals since the joint QUA/AED report in April. Xantros detailed these in his last report, and individual awards are listed with the member activity below, but I do want to briefly emphasize the heartfelt gratitude Mako and I feel to these guys for making Satele Shan such a wonderful organization. Shan was an excellent home for me as a Brotherhood noob, and it's a wonderful place to be an Aedile.

Those of you who responded to our survey on the House planet (hereafter referred to as "the Shanet") have given us some very good feedback. Mako and I were pleased to see that our proposal was very well received, with all of our respondents voting to adopt the planet. Keep an eye out for the official announcement of the final version in the coming weeks.

Arch’s Mako's Special Corner

Hey there guys and gals, so if you didn’t figure out Arch wrote this months report and most of this month's report fiction I added the Gwen bits ;p. Around two weeks ago real life jumped up and bit me in the arse again, so I have been whole terrible. I won’t go into details but know that I am here for all of you even if I am dragging on getting things done a bit. So planet got submitted for final approval from Clan Summit and I am really excited about it. We tried to include what you guys wanted and what worked with given criteria etcetera. What we produced and those that voted decided to support is an industrial and resource generating planet with plenty for us to explore and elaborate on in the future. If you noticed that the planet isn’t fully detailed yet you would be right and that is because we approached the planning with member driven creation in the front of our minds. Thats right once Daleem goes live we all will be working together to detail the hell out of her. Well keep rocking and rolling, you are all amazing and I am very proud of what you all have been doing. A quick shout out to Korrath though, that dude has been a one man wrecking ball of activity. Like seriously not a day goes by where I don’t see his name attached to something in my inbox.
