Much has happened since the last Shadow Gate report. Let's all congratulate Zujenia once more in her promotion to Aedile of HQD. Good luck, Zuji. I know you are going to rock it out.

With Zuji ascending the rungs of power, I will be assuming the mantle of Gate Wardeness. I said it before in my introduction, but it bears repeating: I am super excited to be working with all of you! Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any ideas, questions, concerns, comments, or just want to chat at 3 a.m.

So, monthly report. You know those people who like to celebrate their birthday during the entire month? I might be one of those people. So a Star Wars theme for May seems appropriate. Let's do this.

Updated Logo

Many thanks to Kelviin for giving the Shadow Gate logo a much needed update. It looks absolutely fantastic!

The Recruitment Drive

We have got a great community of active players. What could make it better? A greater number of active players! To that end, the HQD recruitment drive has begun!

• House Qel-Droma now has a Facebook page. Go take a look, like, follow, share and all that jazz.

• But wait! That's not all! HQD also has a YouTube channel.

If you have any DJB related content you want to see on either the Facebook page or YouTube channel, Zuji is the person to talk to. You can either pm her, or send her an email (with the subject 'Content for [insert Platform] pg'). Go, enlighten your friends to the wonder.

Sins Wrap-up

So, what did you think of Sins III? Did you love it? Hate it? Were you just kind of meh about it? Well, here's your chance to sound off! If you haven't already, check out the Sins III survey. It's the best way to let the Summit know what you thought, and what you would like to see in the future. If you've already done it, then you are my personal hero.

The ACC and the GJW

Word on the street is that the ACC is going to be a major part of the next GJW. If you haven't already, be sure to get your character sheet approved, and check out the ACC Qualification course in the Shadow Academy!

There is good news and bad news here. The good news is that Koliss Welcott has been selected as BTL for the new Voidbreaker Battleteam. Congratulations and good luck, Koliss! The bad news is that he will likely be taking some Gatekeepers with him as he sets off for parts unknown. Look for future opportunities to join his merry crew! I'll try not to cry too much about anyone who chooses to leave.

In Closing...

It has been a whirlwind few months since I was introduced to the awesomeness that is the DJB. (Thanks, Log!) It brightens my day each time I get to interact with all of you. Thank you to everyone for your congratulations and support as I ascend into this role. Look for more Battleteam specific comps and events once I have gotten settled in.
