The skies over Sadow Palace were clear one moment and eclipsed the next as the Clan’s new Dreadnought slid into position above the mountain spires like a metallic stormfront. Its shadow crawled across the palace grounds, swallowing stone and sun alike. Engines rumbled low enough to shake dust from the ancient statues lining the courtyard.
Supply ships rose from the surface in disciplined formations, streaking toward the Dominion’s underbelly, while others peeled off from her flanks and descended toward the landing pads in precise, military rhythm.
Lord Keibatsu and Adept DarkHawk watched from behind the tall transparisteel windows of the palace’s Consul’s chamber. As the first transports touched down, the air vibrated with hydraulic whines and the clatter of locking clamps. DarkHawk felt a tight coil of anticipation in his chest. Beside him, Lord Keibatsu didn’t move, save for a faint narrowing of his eyes.
“This,” he said, voice low and cold, “is only the beginning.”
“It’s good to finally see it taking shape,” DarkHawk replied. “Bentre will be along at any moment. Tasha, Koji, and Creon should already be on-site.”
Right on cue, Magistrate Bentre Stahoes stepped into the office with the easy confidence of someone who already knew he was expected.
“Looks like today holds a certain satisfaction,” he said.
“Indeed,” DarkHawk answered as he handed him a data disk. “These are preliminary renovation plans for the palace. The Rancor pit is a priority, we’ll need it fortified for our new guardians. Oversee the entire project and push it forward quickly. Consider the drafts… suggestions more than limitations.”
“Understood.”
Bentre slotted the disk into a terminal. Lines of architectural schematics, old archives, and structural overlays flickered to life. The Rancor pit. The combat training halls. A full modernization of the library and historical vaults.
“Straightforward,” he said. “Though I’m already seeing a few… opportunities.”
“Then take them.”
Bentre nodded once. “Shall we inspect the pit?”
The three made their way down into the under levels, where the air grew cooler and thick with old stone and rusted chains. Transports had just unloaded two massive containment crates. When the locks disengaged, the doors hissed open to reveal two adolescent Yozusk dozing in mountains of straw, their armored hides rising and falling with slow, beastly breaths.
“Tranquilizers held,” DarkHawk said. “They made the trip clean.”
“I still can’t believe they survived,” Bentre murmured. “After all this time, best guess, at least forty generations.”
“Doubt is for the dead.” Lord Keibatsu said sharply. Survival was a lesson that the creatures and the Clan had both earned.
Out in the courtyard, the Summit regrouped beneath the looming shadow of the Dreadnought. A staff commander approached briskly, saluting with crisp precision.
“My lords, the Dominion is fully loaded and combat-ready. All personnel have reported for duty. She is prepared to launch on your orders.”
“Excellent,” DarkHawk said, the edge of a grin touching his voice. “A fitting maiden voyage to Rorak IV. Buldakka the Hutt has waited long enough.”
Lord Keibatsu raised a brow but gave a slow, deliberate nod.
“Before departure,” DarkHawk added, “we have official matters to settle.”
Back inside, they found Tasha, Kojiro, and Creon waiting before the Consul’s chambers. Their postures were straight, their expressions hard with expectation.
“Thank you for coming so quickly,” DarkHawk said as the doors shut behind them. “I’ll spare the pleasantries. We have new intel…critical intel that ties directly into several active operations. Your talents will be required.”
He drew three lapel pins from inside his cloak. Metal glinted under the chamber’s dim lighting.
“Kneel.”
The three obeyed without hesitation.
“It is my honor to name you Blackguard. Today is not ceremonial. However this post demands vigilance, discipline, and an unwavering spine. With it comes privilege, standing, and responsibilities that begin immediately. Your quarters have been prepared here within the palace. Your first mission begins the moment we set foot aboard the Dominion. We depart within the hour. Savvy?”
The three nodded as DarkHawk fastened each pin with deliberate weight.
“Your branding at the Temple of Blood will take place upon our return. Until then, gather your gear and report to the Dominion.”
He stepped back, studying them with a commander’s measure.
“Welcome to the Blackguard.”

Excelsior Sadowans! The Sadow Broadcasting Network is now live for an update! The Clan heads into another crazy holiday season. We roll into Turkey Day with a lot of opportunities ahead to procure a good amount of accolades and pad our credit accounts. However, we will get into all of that here directly!
First and foremost Lord Keibatsu and I want to thank all of you for a great showing during Cycle III of Parabellum. Here are the overall stats:
| Count | Roster | Percentage | Clan Credits |
|---|---|---|---|
| 13 | 26 | 50.00% | 20,000,000 |
Congratulations to Lord Keibatsu, Tasha Vel’Versea, Ashia Keibatsu and Creon Neverse on their placements within the event! Most of all we want to thank everyone for their submissions and participation to get us such a huge score of accolades and credits. It is very much appreciated!
You can see the full report here
Also we have the Pro Bowl to celebrate! I want to thank Master Bentre Stahoes and Professor Sanguinius Entar for taking on the role of team Captain once again. The Frog-dogs and Rotworms went at it pretty heavy throughout the event, with the Frog-dogs coming out on top for the win! We would also like to acknowledge our very own Tasha Vel’Versea was the top point earner for the Clan with 20 entries and 143 points! Awesome Job Tasha!! See all the results here.

Moving on from the accolades I wanted to discuss something that has been brought up to us a few times over the last couple of weeks. Clan Possessions. We have a good amount of possessions to assist with Clan operations. Right now, we have been concentrating on fleet items to strengthen our fleet. With us now moving forward with the Ancient Empire, our plan is to mimic what Naga Sadow had at his disposal. Now having said that, he had a fleet full of ISDs and Harrowers, which is not really conducive to us with the amount of credits that our big capital ships cost. So we will always be looking at what is both beneficial to our fleet and just as important, what is cost effective. Support ships are equally as important in that equation as the capital ships can't do it all. We will always be looking at those to strengthen the fleet. Raiders are always cool in my book but I also know there are other ships available besides those. So if any of you have suggestions/references as to what might be beneficial for us regarding not only our fleet items, but our ground force items as well. Those still need to be looked at and streamlined, I have looked at our ground forces and not being to savvy in ground support assets we would most definitely welcome inputs to strengthen those assets. Just keep in mind that we are leaning more towards Imperial assets, however we are not ruling out the vast array of assets that are available to us.
The other issue we would like to make clear regarding our possessions is that they are available to everyone! If you want to utilize a ship to stage out of, or to add into one of your fictions, by all means you are welcome to them. I know a lot of us may overlook those for whatever reason, I also know that some of us really like to utilize ships and ground forces within our stories. They can definitely enrich the story environment and make things exciting. We just don’t want anyone scuttling a ship or wiping out our ground troops. That is bad ju-ju...
Should you have any questions or concerns regarding fleet or ground forces please contact any of us Summit members.

Now on to some fun. As you may recall from our last broadcast transmission, we have a couple of Sadowans with some comps within the Comps Activity Page
