Introduction
Welcome, everyone! March brings the next chapter in our ongoing storyline, and the finale of the Ascending competition series, as Clan Plagueis returns to the battlefield for our latest House Feud–style event. The fallout from the Ascending Conspiracy still hangs over the Clan, and tensions across the Aliso System continue to rise as outside forces begin to stir. This event will see members competing across a variety of activities while contributing to the unfolding narrative of the Clan. Read on for the details of the event and how you can get involved!

House Feud

Salis D'aar Spaceport
Bakura, Bakura System
44 ABY
The rain never seemed to stop in Salis D'aar. Lieutenant Kael Varyn stood at the base of the boarding ramp of his newly assigned Lambda-class shuttle and watched it fall in long, grey sheets across the duracrete landing pads of the Bakuran capital's spaceport. The pounding rain turned the lights of the city in the distance into smears along the horizon.
He missed Bastion.
On Bastion the air was dry, the weather calm, and an officer could fly a clean patrol without wondering what sort of men his passengers might be. The boarding ramp echoed with the sound of armored boots striking the deck plating as the last of the elite troopers they had been waiting for marched aboard.
No, he thought to himself. Not marching. Not talking. Just moving.
The men's heads never turned, their strides never faltered as they filed aboard the ship. They moved with the sort of mechanical precision that made the hairs on the back of Varyn's neck itch. Shrugging his shoulders to dismiss the sudden tension, the shuttle pilot turned and made his way up the ramp to the command deck.
Inside the cockpit, Ensign Tarek Soll's features were lit a sickly green by the glowing datapad in his hands.
"Route's plotted. We're good to go."
"What did you end up deciding on?" Crewman Jex Maldo asked apprehensively from his station, obviously not looking forward to whatever route would take them across the Unknown Regions.
"The hybrid approach," Soll answered, pulling up the nav-plot on the display as Varyn took his seat at the pilot's controls. “We ride the Bakura Trace long enough to clear port traffic and local patrols.” Soll went on, tracing a line across the star chart. “Then we peel off onto an older corridor. One of the hidden routes the Exegol navigators used.”
Maldo shook his head. "Seems like a lot of hoops to jump a bantha through."
“Safer than going straight through the lanes,” Soll continued. “Less traffic. Fewer eyes.”
“How long?” Varyn asked.
“Thirty hours. Maybe forty if the currents get rough,” the navigator answered.
Varyn nodded slowly. Cautious was good, especially given the "cargo" they were transporting.
Maldo leaned back in his chair at the comm station and glanced toward the door leading to the passenger compartment. "You notice anything odd about our passengers?"
"What," Varyn answered, "outside of the fact that they haven't said a word since they boarded?"
"Yeah, that," Maldo said. "I've ferried troopers before, even those First Order types. They talk. They complain. These guys?”
“They just stand there,” Soll answered in agreement.
"They're former Final Order," Varyn offered by way of explanation. "What did you expect? They're a little more… fanatical than your average bucket head."
“I expected them to act like people,” Maldo muttered. “Not like someone wound them up and forgot to give them personalities.”
Varyn keyed the engine start sequence and the shuttle hummed to life as the reactors ramped up.
"Leave them alone. They're soldiers; we're pilots. You don't bother them, they won't bother you."
"I guess," Maldo said, turning back to his console. "Looks like the Ascendant Fleet transponder code is still broadcasting."
"You sure those codes will work?" Soll wondered.
"Of course. Intel pulled them right out of the fleet database," Maldo replied. "They're as clean as a freshly wiped droid."
"Still feels strange slipping in like a nexu in the dark," Varyn said.
"Hey now," Soll said in mock seriousness. "We're not sneaking. We're one big happy Ascendant Fleet."
"I hope you're right," Varyn replied with a faint smile as he pushed the throttles forward.
Outside, the engines roared to life and the shuttle lifted from the Bakuran spaceport, its outer wings folding down as it climbed into the storm-dark sky, the Plagueian symbol emblazoned on the dorsal fin glinting in the spaceport lights.
Behind them, in the passenger cabin, the silent troopers did not move.
To Be Continued…
Ascending Convergence
Ascending Convergence is a House versus House feud within Clan Plagueis. During each phase, nine competitions will be released, with additional event-long competitions available. At the end of the event, the House whose members have earned the most total points will emerge victorious and claim the bragging rights that go along with it.
Competitions
Check out the events at the following links:
- Ascending Convergence container
- Ascending Convergence Phase I
- Ascending Convergence Phase II
- Ascending Convergence Phase III
Schedule
- Phase I: March 23, 2026 - March 29, 2026
- Phase II: March 30, 2026 - April 5, 2026
- Phase III: April 6, 2026 - April 12, 2026
Scoring
Each participant will earn five points for every event in which they submit a valid entry. Participation requires a valid submission; simply signing up for an event or uploading an unqualified entry will not count.
In addition to participation points, the top three individuals in each competition will earn placement points. First place will earn 4 points, second place will earn 3 points, and third place will earn 2 points. All other valid entries will earn 1 placement point.
Events will apply placement point modifiers based on their perceived difficulty or level of effort required. For example: fiction events will use a modifier of 3, gaming/graphics/poetry will use a modifier of 2, and puzzle/trivia/flash events will use a modifier of 1.
Grading formula: (Placement Score * Event Modifier) + Participation = Event Score
At the end of the competition, each participant’s scores across all three phases will be added together. The top three individuals overall will earn crescents for the event.
Ties in individual placement will be broken by total number of placements, followed by total first-place finishes, total second-place finishes, total third-place finishes, and finally total entries submitted.
Team victory will be determined by the combined total scores of all members of each House.

Plot Catch Up
Are you new to the clan and wondering what this Ascending Conwhatever is all about? Somebody that wasn't paying super close attention and now want a refresher on what got Plagueis to this point? Fear not, as we've put together a helpful primer on the story so far, and how we got here!
• In 30 ABY, former Grand Master Faethor (Chi Long) was believed killed on Kapsina during the Horizons Crisis.
• In 41 ABY, during the Sixteenth Great Jedi War, Consul Selika Roh encountered Faethor’s lingering presence within the Ethereal Realm.
• Faethor escaped the Ethereal Realm and secretly returned to the galaxy.
• From the ruins of Kapsina, he began building the Eternal Order, drawing upon remnants of the First Order and the Sith Eternal.
• Over several years, the Eternal Order quietly destabilized Clan Plagueis and the Confederacy of the Outer Reaches.
• These manipulations contributed to the internal crisis known as the Ascending Conspiracy, which fractured Plagueis’ leadership and weakened its alliances.
Now Faethor’s long shadow campaign is nearing its end — and the Eternal Order is ready to strike.
