Thank you for taking the time to join me on this Thanksgiving Thursday. I know many of you are eating all sorts of pies and spending some time with your family, and if not? Well we’ll be your dysfunctional Plagueian family.

I’ll keep this report short so you can get back to your wonderful desserts.

What’s Going On?

The past month since my last report has been a little quiet on the surface but rest assured, myself and the rest of the Summit have been quietly plugging away at a few things coming up. First I want to thank and congratulate everyone who has been running some incredibly fun competitions during the past month, we have seen a huge variety in competition styles and as both a leader in the club and a member, it’s amazing to see everyone working so hard on so many fun options! This is something we want to encourage everyone to keep doing, whether its a quick flash game, an epic fiction, a tournament or a silly naming challenge, we want to see those ideas!

Nervous about running a comp yourself? That’s what we are here for! PLEASE do not hesitate to reach out to a member of the summit or another member, if you have an idea for a competition let us know and we will work with you to make it happen.

Now, I know the big question on everyone’s mind is the proposal. For those of you who aren’t aware yet, the Plagueian summit put together and submitted a proposal to merge our two houses into one and open up the opportunity for a few smaller Battleteams to form (you can read the original report and proposal here). I would LOVE to shed some more light on that, however I can’t at the moment. With your help and feedback we were able to take and refine our proposal before submitting it to Mav and Evant. Currently we are awaiting their decision, but we are optimistic and already planning out the next steps!

Hearthstone Reemergence Cluster Race Ends 11/30/19 - A good ol’ fashioned cluster race featuring everyone’s favourite card game, Hearthstone!
The First Plaguiean-Valneikian Festival Ends 12/08/19 - Our very own Khryso Mallus has organized a few quick competitions to celebrate the prosperity of the Valneikian Hive. Have fun taking part in the festival!
Let's Get Medieval! Ends 12/16/19 - Muse has organized a few competitions designed to put your medieval skills to the test!
Celebration: Mandalorians Ends 12/06/19 -Take part in a series of competitions to celebrate the first ever live-action Star Wars series! Participate in ALL of the competitions and you’ll be granted access to the celebration store!

Conclusion

Like I said, this is a short one. Don’t forget, we are one big Plagueian family, we may not always agree but we are all here joined by our love of Star Wars. Please make sure to take into account other people’s opinions in discussions and please keep things civil. We are fine with (and encourage) discourse but if things escalate we take it VERY seriously. If someone asks for a change of topic in our telegram channel, don’t think of it as you doing something wrong, but that they are looking out to make sure that no one says or does something that they may regret down the road. We are all here to have fun and we want to make sure that EVERYONE has fun here!
