As the Ides of March arrive, so too does another House Tyranus Report. As you may have noticed, this is not the usual Quaestor Report. Due to unfortunate circumstances that I will discuss shortly, it has fallen upon Tyranus' Aedile, yours truly, to deliver the news. However, do not worry, I will do my best to cover all the usual exciting elements contained within the Hand of Dread's updates. Within this report will be some brief remarks on Taranae's absence, an update on the Feud, some member accomplishments, and much more. Without any further ado, let's get to it.

The Hand of Dread

As mentioned previously, I am writing this report because Taranae has encountered some unforeseen circumstances. In case you haven't heard the news yet, your House Tyranus Quaestor has been submitted to the hospital and is currently on a ventilator due to a case of COVID. Of course, during this time, all that most of us can do is hope and pray that she recovers swiftly and safely. Please keep her in your hearts and minds as she goes through this and feel free to offer words of support in whatever manner you deem appropriate. I look forward to the day when Taranae can rejoin her Tyrants back in the prime of her health but, until then, we all wish you the best, Taranae.

Feud

Onto less serious topics, we have the Feud! At the moment, we are in the eye of the storm, the break between Phase 1 and Phase 2. I was happy to see there were several Tyrants doing their best to get entries in and, because of that, we got off to a pretty solid start. However, we can still do better. I know now is not the best time for all of us, as there are many real life circumstances that take precedent, but even just one or two simple entries can throw the Feud in Plagueis' favor! Thanks to the bin system, even just one competition can net some participation points for the Clan. Remember, our previous Feud was decided within less than five points, so every little bit can make the difference! So, if you can, get those Event-long competitions started or submitted and, come March 17th and the beginning of Phase 2, do all the things! Let's finish the Feud on a strong note and show the rest of the Brotherhood what it means to be a Tyrant.

Member Accomplisments

While we probably won't be seeing the results from the Feud until at least next month, Tyrants have still been hard at working earning accolades and representing Tyranus. Before we cover the finer details, I'd like to give shout-outs to Qormus Aquila and Kodais Solatus for blazing through their fair share of Shadow Academy exams. I would also like to take a moment to shout out Sinya Ani for reaching the rank of Dark Jedi Knight, a well deserved title for someone who's been working hard, congrats Sinya. • [COU-PLA] Episode II: The Myrkr Crusade: Of course I wasn't going to let this report go by without linking the Feud. Get to it! Let's bring home the win for Plagueis! (Remember Phase 2 starts on March 17th.)
• Star Wars: The Old Republic Guild Re-Launch Party: The Brotherhood is relaunching its Old Republic guild, so feel free to join the celebrations! (Don't worry, you don't need the game to do any of the competitions.)
• What's In Your Head?: A graphics competition that encourages you to see from your character's perspective.
• There's no place like home ...: A fiction competition in which your character wakes up on Earth! Presented to the Brotherhood by our very own Qormus.
• DJB F1 Fantasy League: An upcoming competition that's a little more outside the box than the usual Brotherhood fare. Oh, what a coincidence, Qormus has his name on this competition as well...

That will conclude this report from the Citadel! Between the Feud and things happening out in the real world, stress may be weighing heavily on us. During these times don't forget that the club as a whole is a community, so there are plenty of people here you can reach out to if you just need to talk or anything. If you need to step back from Brotherhood activities for your own health and sanity, don't hesitate, we all understand. At the end of the day, we all just need to do what we can to keep going.
