“Hey sea shell it’s nice to see another Nautolan around here.” Tebbo said as he kissed the female Nautolan’s hand “May I learn what your name is?” Tebbo had been getting as much R and R as he could get from getting back from the mission with Solas. Tebbo would still wince when he remembered how easily Solas put a burning log threw that man’s chest. If Solas could and would do that Tebbo didn’t want to think about how long that other guy would last being torchered. After they learned all they could from the prisoner they would be calling on a Clan to lead a raid on Corvus Tanian. The female Nautolan smiled and was about to speak when Tebbo felt a tap on his shoulder and the other Nautolan freeze. Looking, Tebbo saw that it was one of Solas’s attendants looking annoyed. “You are being sommed to meet with Knight Solas.” The attendant started with Tebbo and forced him to start walking down the hall, but not before Tebbo blew a kiss at the female Nautolan. “Ok, you wouldn’t know what Solas would want by the way, i bet by a gorgeous lady like yourself knows a lot.” Tebbo flirted. As soon as Tebbo said that he thought the attendant would take his head off with the look she gave him. She gave a short sigh “I’m busy, Solas will tell you what he wants.” was her only response and turned down a different hallway. Tebbo quicked his pace after the attendant left him. It wouldn’t be wise to make Solas wait. When Tebbo got there he gave a quick nod and the door opened to Solas talking with another attendant which he quickly dismissed. “Tebbo it’s good to see you. We didn’t get to talk much after our patrol.” Solas picked up a data pad and handed it to Tebbo “You have be given the chance of becoming my Acolyte of Nekros. I have found evidence that a holocron from a Darth Sith.If you can retrieve it, you will be rewarded.” Tebbo looked over the information on the pad. “This looks really good, but do you know who’s holocron it is?” Solas sighed ‘It’s Darth Nihilus.” Tebbo stopped reading and gave Solas a hard look. “You mean the Sith that could eat the Force of an entire worlds and with the help of the dark side, kept his soul attached to his armor, that Sith?” Solas gave a nod “How do you know about Darth Nihilus?” Tebbo sat down in a chair and put the data pad on the desk “I decided to read up on some of the older Siths so I could understand some of the uses of the dark side of the Force and I came up on him. He was interesting even to Force users.” “Good, then I won't have to stress that Darth Nihilus was a very powerful Sith. Usually I would send someone who was at least force sensitive, but you have proven yourself. If you are successful you will be rewarded. I believe that's all I need to say.” Solas crossed the room and dismissed Tebbo with a wave of his hand.

“Why can’t I go anywhere nice?” Tebbo said as he jumped out of his x-wing onto the dusty sand of Korriban. In the background rose the great Valley of the Dark Lords. The grand monuments of dead Sith gave Tebbo an eerie feeling. Tebbo began to sneak his way thru the ruins of the valley, because he wasn’t going into one of the graves. The information that Sola’s showed him was that Darth Nihilus’s holocron was somewhere deep within the old Sith Academy. The Academy was located at the end of the Valley of the Dark Lords so it would be safer to walk in then be detected. It took some time to make sure that he was alone here, but Tebbo felt like there was someone watching him. Tebbo made it to the Sith Academy without seeing anyone which made him more nervous. Tebbo got into the Academy, it was quiet. As Tebbo started to look for the Sith Archives. The Archives were in tatters, there was hardly anything that hadn’t been picked over by raiders and scavengers. Tebbo started to look for anything that had to do with Darth Nihilus. Tebbo found a room that only Nihilus would use for training. “That’s gonna be my best bet here.” Tebbo whispered. Tebbo picked up his E-11and began to sneak into the lower levels of the Academy. As Tebbo started to the lower chambers, Tebbo began to detect a strange pheromone that he had never knew before. It smelt like a deep hunger. “May my spirit keep me strong till I return to familiar shores.” Tebbo counturned till he arrived at a large chamber. It was oval in shape and had only one other walkway at the back of the room to the right. There was a large body of water on the right side that looked very deep. At the left of the chamber was a large door. Tebbo stepped inside to get a better look at the door. “Hey this kinda looks like the Rite of blood and bone I read about, but I doubt it would work after all this…” The doorway behind Tebbo closed off and the huge door began to slowly open. “I wish I could stop myself sometimes.” When the huge door opened up a huge Bloodfiend came crawling out on its many legs. It began to sniff around for something to eat and located Tebbo quickly. The Bloodfiend dove at Tebbo, nearly smashing him with giant body. Tebbo quickly rolled out of the way. Tebbo took out his short vibrosword held it in his right hand while holding his E-11 blaster in his left. “Why can they never have things hidden on an island guarded by beautiful women who just wanna have some fun?” The Bloodfiend turned around a screeched loudly, shaking the room. ‘I’ve got to think of something’ Tebbo looked around the room to help him fight this huge monster. That’s when Tebbo remembered the water and a plan started to form in his mind. “Come on monster, Tebbo has a treat you’d like” The Bloodfiend charged again. This time Tebbo put himself on the the water’s edge. At the last second, Tebbo fell backwards into the water and the Bloodfiend caught by it’s own momentum couldn’t stop itself from falling into the water. Underwater, Tebbo had perfect eyesight and could easily swim because he was a Nautolan. It was easy for Tebbo to dodge the Bloodfiend. Tebbo fired his blaster underwater while barrel rolling out of the Bloodfiend’s charge. Soon the Bloodfiend slowed down enough for Tebbo to climb on the back of the Bloodfiend. Putting his blaster over his shoulder, Tebbo grabs his short vibrosword and with both hands and runs it threw the top of the Bloodfiend’s head. Gasping as he pulled, Tebbo dragged himself out of the water. Tebbo noticed one of the smaller legs of the Bloodfiend had floated to the top. It was about two feet in length and was very thick. Tebbo had a strange feeling to pick it up and did so. “I’m gonna complain a lot when I get back.” Tebbo grabbed the Tebbo checked his gear and started for the walkway on the opposite side. Following the map he found in the Archive. The hallway was silent and Tebbo got a eerie feeling again. Tebbo got in front of the doorway that should be for Darth Nihilus. Tebbo licked his lips nervously and entered the room with his blaster trained on anything that could be in the room. The room was empty, but it didn’t look like a classroom to Tebbo. It looked like it might have been a personal training room at some point but was remodeled a long time ago. The walls gave off the darkest color of black that Tebbo had ever seen. Along the sides of the room where glass cases that looked like to hold Darth Nihilus’s armor, but were now smashed and empty. In the center of the room was a simple basin about four feet in diameter with an engraving of Nihilus’s mask carved into it. As Tebbo neared the basin, he could feel the darkness radiating from the room. This was a spot that should never be used by any living creature. Tebbo knew that Darth Nihilus feed on the Force of living creatures, so it dawned on Tebbo that life Force might be needed to find his holocron. Tebbo took the leg of the Bloodfiend and put it in the basin. The leg didn’t do anything for a second, but then it began to shrivel and turned black entel there was nothing. Suddenly, a panel in the back of the room opened up to where a sitting on a pedestal, a holocron sat. It was palm sized and show a red light through its grey and red shell. Tebbo carefully picked it up. The holocron was light and gave off a vibe that Tebbo didn’t like, almost if it was trying to consume him. Tebbo shook off the feeling and put the holocron in his bag. Tebbo snuck out of the Academy and had a light firefight with a pair of scavengers on his way to his fighter. Tebbo found his fighter right where he left it as he left it. “I never want to come here again.” Tebbo put his supplies and new treasure into the fighter, stretched and looked at the Valley of the Dark Lords one more time before climbing into the fighter and leaving the planet.

“You’ve done well Tebbo.” Solas said as he examined the holocron. “This pleases me greatly, with this holocron we can learn everything Darth Nihlus knew and can even talk to him.” Solas gave Tebbo a side glance. “Did you talk with Darth Nihlus?” Tebbo gave a shrug “It didn’t interest me to learn Force stuff when I’m not Force sensitive and couldn’t use it. You said I only had to return with it.” “So you have, I will call you if I find anything out from the holocron. Untell then you are dismissed.” Solas sat down and started to closely examine the holocron.

The Long Run

Darkness surrounded him as as looked out overr the deserted landsape before him. Although it had a been a rough few weeks, Dante was ready to go home to a nice warm bed and turn in this artifact that seemed to be one of the major reasons for this excruciatingly long mission. The LZ wasn't too much further, but the local fores and Sadowites were making it hard to get off world before being over taken by either of the pursuing groups.

Whatever the in Dante's pack was must be something fairly important as it absolutely glowed in the Force. That didn't bode well for his chances to get through the hunter teams from Naga Sadow, and the various local forces had joined the hunt to make it even more interesting to extricate himself from this situation.

Terrain was a major issue for speed of movement, but it did help with cover and concealment as Dante made his way along a crevice that descended further down the large hill. Just as Kell thought that he might have been able to evade his enemies, they were waiting for him at the bottom exit of the crevice. Blaster bolts came raining down from the crest of the hill to his left, but Dante kept crawling long until he reached the relative safety of the next ridge line.

After Kell crested the ridge, he used the Force to bound to the next line of rock formations, but all the Obelisk found was another group of local forces that were trying to kill all of the Force users that were stealing from the pirates.

Turning to shoot, Dante fell onto his back and let loose another barrage that pinned down one group of enemy forces, and he launched a couple of grenades from his AXM-50 at another squad that was trying to flank him. Glancing at hit map, Kell knew that he was close, and he launched another salvo of grenades at the first group since the fire had stopped from the flanking squad. The large man knew that he was a big target, but this was going to be his only chance as he could feel the Sadowites beginning to close in on his position.

The Field Marshal made a run for the LAAT, and he hoped that he had done enough that they would be able to clear out for the air cover started laying down a bombardment on their heads.

Dante jupe daboard the LLAT and smiled. Finally, he was able to get on this rock. “Give me a comm unit! Now!” he yelled as he made his way up to the cockpit of the transport. “This is Nightstalker Five... Commence bombardment of grid coordinaes Whiskey Tango 55540 by 40032.... once agan.... commence bombardment at Whiskey Tango 55540 by 40032... End transmission.”

The leader of the clan's ground forces looked over at his men and said “So.... free booze for all of you guys at Big Daddy's when we get back!”

The men cheered to the conclusion of yet another successful mission.

the last thing the Acolyte saw was Von Oberst gliding into his room and was cut open for the latest experiment, the mans other arm wearing a watch depicting 6:32 am. the Acolyte woke with a startle and cold sweat, it was just a dream he thought until he gazed at the bedside alarm clock...it was only 6:31 as the door slide open.

Oh what a fate upon us comes, when allies firm betray your trust. When silence breaks, shook up by drums, and grassy plains turn into dust.

Once friends of old, now deadly foes, two clans go forth, to wage their war. No matter how the story goes, their friendly ties exist no more.

With vengeful wrath the fight begins, lives thrown away for honor's cause. Can we atone for deadly sins, when killing's done without a pause?

The end result, always the same, no good can come from shattered ties. What good are they, power and fame, when friendship true forever dies?

His breaths came in large heaves as the man leaned his shoulder against the wall. The wall was cool to the touch, which gave him some temporary relief. He had never been prepared for all this. The Dark Brotherhood was crazier than he had ever figured, even from what the Markosian Quaestor had told him. He had lost his initial artifact to that blue-eyed Zeltron.

The encounter should have went so much different. Zachary was quicker than she was, he seemed to be stronger than she was. If he had pressed his attack he could have cut her down and taken his prize. The Dark Jedi couldn’t seem to stop himself from trying to talk the girl down, however. In the end of it all, it had cost him their little contest. Despite the fact that Ta’var didn’t seem to hold a particular malice toward the Corellian, her desire to win trumped his own.

Perhaps if I were just able to bring myself to kill, if I could drop these old Jedi-ingrained habits, maybe it would have ended differently. Perhaps that would have granted me the edge I needed.

He shook his head, trying to dispel the thoughts. He had been growing too lax among the likes of the Anzat Quaestor, Marcus Kiriyu and a number of the Sons and Daughters of Sadow he had brushed shoulders with during his tenure in the Clan. If he was not more careful he would end up sacrificing his own morals. His pursuit of his destiny, his obedience to the supposed will of the Force would drive him, but there were some lines he refused to cross.

Drawing a slow breath, Zachary compressed a button on the side of his comm’s transmitter. “This is O’Maille to CNS Mission Command. I repeat, this is Zachary O’Maille, reporting to CNS Mission Command from the surface of Mygeeto. I have a package in my possession. I am requesting extraction.”

The receiver crackled for a moment. “Affirmative, O’Maille. Shuttle Beta-Four is en route to a spot about 2 km north of your current position. Stay safe.”

As he pocketed the comm again, the Sorcerer slid a hand up into his robes. After fishing out for a moment, he withdrew a datapad from within its folds. The device activated with a low hum, projecting a small projection of the terrain. Glancing at his compass, he took a note of the direction, adjusted the device and examined it more closely.

A crack pulled the man’s attention from the device. As the Corellian turned, looking up he saw the sunken cheeks and the barely hidden snarl of a Clawdite peering down at him, with a blaster pistol pointed down at him. The Loyalist motioned at the small box clutched in the Sorcerer’s hand. “Go on now, put it down. This doesn’t have to end messily.”

“Wait,” Zachary scowled, “a Clawdite, wearing Naga Sadow colors who I haven’t met? You have spy written all over you. You may want to identify yourself first.”

“I am Aexod Burgoo,” the Clawdite hissed. “You evidently don’t care much for Sapphire Squadron to have not met me.”

“Don’t take it in such poor sport,” O’Maille flashed an insincere smile. As the Clawdite snarled at the man, the Corellian threw out his arm. The lightsaber in his hands flew out in a tight arc, twirling toward his Sadowan opponent and slicing through the blaster in his right hand. Zachary raised his hand, catching the weapon as it returned to him like a boomerang.

Before Burgoo could respond, the Savant turned and began to sprint toward the extraction point. If one of his own House turned on him, he hated to think about the response from the rest of his Clan, not to mention the Palatinae themselves. This was going to be a long day, Force preserve him.

Clutching the artifact tight, Cruise knew his time was limited in escaping back to safety. His communication link had been disabled for the past 3 hours with CNS and Red Fury Pirate interference and he knew following the valley back to where his ship was would be filled with Dark Jedi waiting to pounce.

He suddenly remembered Xen speaking of an old junkyard within the area that would be used for rally point if anyone were to come into contact with the artifact and comms were lost. Within this graveyard of ships would be scattered pieces of parts placed strategically in order to power an old star fighter. Downside would be figuring out how to find the parts, install, and correctly pilot the fighter.

Cruise thought to himself that luckily flying has always been one of the few things he had been good at. Quickly Cruise began running towards the area of the graveyard. Within minutes he already came upon 3 Red Pirates combing through a couple of slain corpses along the path. He sensed something in the Force within seconds of watching the Pirates and planning his attack. The disturbance was one of rage, and power. As he felt it stronger, Cruise knew this disturbance before. Within seconds a Dark Jedi appeared suddenly and became to strike down the Pirates. One by one the blade hacked through them limb by limb. This wasn't the work of someone who wanted to defend themselves, but of one who wanted to ensure they died the worse death possible for crossing them.

Cruise slowly walked up behind the Dark Jedi as they were just finishing cutting off the last limbs of the 3rd Pirate.

“Thanks for the help Cruise. I was wondering when you were going to attack them.” Blade said while unveiling her hood.

“You always were the fighter Blade. I like to approach my situations were strategically and if needed handle my enemies quickly.” Cruise said.

“You Grey Jedi, all work and no fun. True power comes in total annihilation and complete terror of our enemies so that no one will ever follow in their foot steps again. That is the true power of Scholae Palatinae” Blade exclaimed while stabbing the last clinging to life pirate through the throat.

“Well I'm a pilot at heart. I'll leave the torturing, ground and pound business to you Sith. Speaking of piloting I have a fighter to fix and fly out.” Cruise said with a smirk.

“You cannot abandoned the mission until it is complete Cruise. Even you are bound by oath to the Emperor, or should you flee he will have your head.” Blade said while raising her saber in towards him.

“Woah, slow down. You might want to take a look at this.” Cruise said while pulling a glowing blue object from under his armor as Blade's eye began to open in amazement.

“Where did you..” Blade said as Cruise quickly interrupted her with “No time for explanations, let's get the hell to that ship and back to the Emperor.

The two made their way to the ship graveyard and ultimately off the planet and to the Emperor.

The traitorous move was big So much for the group on the rig The Black Hand gave the command Naga Sadow would fall by demand

Feelings of hatred started to spread Continue it must until they are dead Scholae forces pummel them hard They would beat them and take all the shards

Of the artifacts on the planet below They would be the masters of all that they sow Sith artifacts to make them all grow The more they learn the more they know

Falling from the sky We will catch them in a lie Always moving into the future Scholae Palatinae will be the stronger.

This fued has taken its toll, after betrayal from a might foe, the Sadows will learn that you reap what you sow.

Scholae Palatinae begin their their final ride, setting their sights on the highest prize, the artifact awarded will seal their pride.

Nearing the hour of the dead, the Emperor pushes us all ahead, for losing is not an option with all we have bled.

Strike down the enemy, let them feel our power, now is the time to make them cower.

Rally now as a Scholae forward we will move, victory awaits on this last finale.

Betrayal

Over the years in the Brotherhood Quit common is this dark act Missions foiled by many a mood Always an assurance of fact.

Started off to make the pirates pay For their crimes and destruction Whose job was it to say Let us not fall prey to separation

First the young ones would stray A trickle of blood was taken by each Tenuous bonds between them did fray Soon the alliance was in full breach

Defeat would come to the Palatinae or Sadows Each had their own cares As if no one would rise from the shadows To take what is rightfully theirs.

And thus it began

United under common goals stars, shining as allies stood strong and wise until all was burnt to coals.

They fought as kinsman

Lots of promises were made oaths not to be broken betrayers for a few tokens that now creep in the shades

That was the plan

Never intended to cooperate they threw at each other no more blood brothers all returns to the cycle of hate

Beneath the oceans of Yridia II lays the former home of the Clan of Death, now containing the darkness of mighty House Mortis. While other strongholds of Tarentum may be guarded by dark creatures and death itself, the fearsome guardians of the submerged fortress are the very beasts of the sea -- sharks, whales, giant squids and other, more fearsome dwellers of the unfathomable depths of the briny deep.
