Moment of Betrayal

Back to back under fiery skies, Our enemies swatted away like flies, We held the ground like kings, But oh, we knew not what the future brings.

We've weathered many a storm, Our cause is empty, cold, it used to keep us warm, Bitter tears were sadly wept, we begged you not to go, You dare not look in my eyes, you didn't want to know.

Allies, brothers, through thick and thin, Crisis wormed into our lives, oh she took us in, Stole your loyalty, your fight, it's no longer you and me, Today you took the first shot, and finally you are free.

I will not be the mask of your madness, Drugged by war, breaking your habit, And while you whip out your demands, Always remember, we were never dough in your hands.

Once trusted allies Now turned bitter enemies As quick as blinking

Friendship bound to break Prone to political schemes And the march of time

Soldiers used as pawns But will honour their duty And murder their friends

Allies then, foes now The future is uncertain Always in motion

Time stops for no one Should they find a mutual foe Would friendship restore?

Though it is as I expected it to be, The twisted lies now split open for all to see, Cracked lips darkened hearts, Treachery to drag our union apart.

Disgusting creatures one and all, Heathens heretics pain will come before your fall, I will take every last one of to the grave ending your life, Slitting throats and crushing bones with hands and throat.

CSP cowards and fools, Failed to follow the most basic of rules, Stabbing in the back so twisted and stale, I'll enjoy watching your flesh turn putrid and pale.

At the heart of red furry base with the sith holocron clipped to my belt, I ran. Crimson lightsaber in one hand, pistol In the other I sliced through anyone who got in my way. To my annoyance, there were a lot who got in my way. But it was no matter. They learned the hard way, watching as the life left their eyes as I ripped through the entire base like a whirling storm of bloodshed. I smiled. The pitiless fools payed for their foolishness. The few who were left made a great deal to stay out od my way, but then they didn't have much room, clan nar sadaw had arrived at the entrance and in-between 2 groups of hostiles, it made getting out alive a lot harder. War broke out, blaster fire crossing through the air as I took to cover. “Come on, not now” I said aloud. I was so close to getting off world with the holocron and then everything goes back to where it was. Not good. I crept outside past the fighting to find my troubles had only just begun. fusion cannons lined the bridge each manned by the red furry pirates, cutting off any way of getting off world. “Drop the holocron and put your hands where I can see them” I turned slightly to find that while i was surveying the scene, I hadn't payed attention to behind me. I regretfully raised my hands as a human male slowly took the holocron from my belt. “And to think you’re the best they have to offer?” I glared angrily. No one made a fool out of me. “Come on, first I’m going to make you dig your own grave, and then I’m going to bury you alive” he said as he handed his pistol in my back. He wasn't as clever as he thought or he would of been more careful. He marched me out to a spot of snow. “Get digging” he laughed as if was some funny joke. I started clawing at the snow, pulling it back making the hole deeper and wider. He'd gotten to near my legs. I swung them around taking them out behind him. He stumbled down into the makeshift grave and I smiled retrieving my prize. I ignited my saber and and smiled. My hands were cold, if they weren't naturally blue, they'd be blue by now. “You were going to kill me, it only seems fair that I do the same to you” I smiled as he tried clearing out. I swung, and his arms fell to the ground soaking blood everywhere. He screamed in agony, and I laughed. “Have fun, I've got some secrets to uncovet” I walked away, his screams of agony sounding out amongst the ruined cities. This had turned into quite a eventful day now all I needed to do was blast out of here. I trudged away from the would be killer and made my way to my old battered converted tie fighter, splashed with a mixture of blue black paint. I hoped in the pilot's seat and throttled the engine and blasted out of there, taking any anti aircraft guns out on my way up. Finally free from mygeeto…

I am very lucky to have a large family around me on this beautiful farm. If I am quite I can almost hear the children playing, near where I buried them.

It was so dark and cold that day, like someone had turned out the lights in an igloo. The last thing i remember thinking was that it was the middle of a hot summers day as i felt something pierce a hole right through me.

Fresh start Aerwin Tribwell 10057

Rain poured down on the capital city Menat Ombo. It had been rather stormy day and the Jedi Kaira Rohana had been out on a Training run with some very green new recruits. She was tired, cold and very wet by the time she walked into one of her favorite cantina. The place was small, dark and had little going on. In fact there was only two other customers in the whole place. Kaira often came here after long days for this very reason. It was clean and had great food but no one really knew about the place and Kaira was glad for that. Something however happened that Kaira had never expected to happen that day.

In the corner in a small booth sat a young woman who looked lost. Kaira had seen that look so many times on the young Jedi she had trained over the years. There lost in her own world sat a Jedi who had yet to be formally trained. This was a surprise for Kaira knew all the recruits for Odan-Urr always came right to the training halls. Who was she and why had she not reported to Odan-Urr.

Aerwin had come into this cantina looking for work. They had said she could work three days a week as a dish washer in back. Today would be a trial run and she had just sat down to eat a bowl of soup when the door opened. She saw the hooded figure of a woman who looked like she had been out in the storm for hours. The water seem to just pour off her cloak to pool on the floor at her feet.

From behind the bar the owner looked at the woman with a sharp sly smile that hid a lot she was sure. “Kaira, long time no see. How you been girl?”

The way the guy look at Kaira said that they had known each other for a while now. “Busy and I am glad to see you are still doing so well for your self Gourton.” With a robust laugh that echoed off the walls Kaira sat down at the bar.

“Now ain’t that the truth. I was just telling my new dishwasher over there that this planet is way too busy lately and I just might need to pack up and leave.”

“You would do well to think of doing just that Gourton. This are changing and I don’t see it ending well for this planet or the people here. If you have a place to go I would go.”

With this the man looked Kaira up and down with a prying eye for answers. The Jedi gave him no more answers. He just laughed once more. “I will think about this and you might be out a quiet placed.”

“Who is this new dishwasher?” Gourton then pointed to Aerwin.

The Odan-Urr Jedi stood once more then turned and walked to the table that Aerwin sat at. “May I join you?” She asked in a very gentaly voice that rang with command.

“You may but there is no need to use the force to make me do it. Yes I know all about the force and the Jedi.” The way Aewrin said that made Kaira pause for a moment.

“I feel that you are more then what I see in front of me. Share your story with me young one. Maybe just maybe you won’t need to wash dishes here.”

Something in the body language of Kaira told Aerwin that she could share anything and the woman would keep her secrets. Over the next hour Aewrin shared her past history and only once did Kaira stop her. It was at the end of her story about her sister’s death. Kaira felt the sorrow that the woman felt over this event. If she did not forgive herself she would at some point be drawn to the dark side but if she knew how to protect against that she would become a great Jedi someday.

“Well Aerwin, I wish to train you but not in a way you think. You will come to my small home. There you will take care of my young child. In return I will train you as a Jedi. No one will know about you or the child but me. She will need extra care do to the fact that she is a Jedi as well. Will you do this?”

Aerwin sat back and closed her eyes. This was a lot to think about it would change her life forever. In the next moment she could have a new life one where she could protect and sever rather than be unsure if she would cause the death of someone else. “I will.”

That was when Aerwin became who she is today. She trained and learned all she could from Kaira. It was a quiet time with little trouble for Aerwin. This was the begin for Aerwin but the end for Kaira. Soon Aerwin was where Kaira was but Kaira was gone this was where it started with a simple storm and a need for good food.

The one fear every creature has, is fear of the dark, whether of the darkness within or the darkness around them. For I am the darkness, in every shadow, even if you try to hide in the light, I will find you, and I will get you.
