What a week it's been. We've kicked off Clan Artisans, we're having a great time, making progress on battleteams. Awwww yeeeah. This week is a bit more of a quiet week, but we're looking at ramping back up. Kind of a short report this week, but today is a bit busy RL-wise and I thought I'd at least give you guys something slightly amusing.

New members this week: well, I daresay not new - in fact quite the opposite. Ladies and gents, welcome Shan Long back to the fold, aka Trevaerus Caerick, that one old guy! YEAH!

The huge news of the week is that House Marka Ragnos is currently looking for a new Battleteam Leader - if you're interested in a leadership position, please email myself and Teu ([Log in to view e-mail addresses] and [Log in to view e-mail addresses]) with your application.

Clan Artisans is in progress! The first week is just the naming competition, and the next few weeks are coming up. The wiki team event, the pazaak event and the run-on team event will all be starting soon, so thank you to everyone who signed up for them.

I'm still looking for people to work on some NPC wiki pages for me. If you're interested, please send me an email and let me know if you'd like to help.

If anyone has a twitter account, I've been repping some CNS out there in the twitterverse or whatever that weird thing is called. Follow me at @ZeroMuse and we'll have some fun times talking about dumb crap.

We may be over 40 members now, but that doesn't mean we can sit idle and wait. Don't forget there's Scrolls of Indoctrination for recruiting efforts across Twitter and for people you sign up getting to Protector, as well as some awesome recruiting materials you guys can make use of as well. This is some super-important stuff for the future of the Clan, so please help out wherever possible!

Ask the Aedile!

We're mixing it up this week! It's Ask the Aedile! Why? Why not?!

Teu asks: When will the supply of cookies be returned to HMR?

Teu also asks: After clan artisans do you personally have any plans?
In terms of personal plans? Not particularly anything concrete. I'm going to be working on some last-minute Shadow Academy degrees for a while and actually writing my wiki page, but after that... I'll be honest, I've done most of the 'personal' things I'm looking at achieving around the DJB. Once Artisans is done, I'll more or less be wholly dedicated to working on improving my quality of leadership.

Syntari asks: Are you the Aedile of Swiggity Swag? Unfortunately, no. That particular title falls to the Sorting Hat of Hogwarts, the most badass hat in all of existence.

Malik asks: who ate the skittles?
I did, of course. I accept payment for all work in the form of skittles. Also bribes.

Locke asks: What plans do you have for the whole news angle? like, are you going to expand on that in fiction? If so, how?
This is an interesting question, because it's got a two-part answer. First off, if anyone remembers the gameplay video Atra and I recorded at the end of a Crusade chapter last year, I fully intend to make that a routine thing. An actual 'news' segment. Think about it - actual video reports might be awesome. To do that, I'll need a studio-quality microphone, but we'll get to that. In terms of fiction, I guess that's kind of part of it as well - I can do IC fiction updates that are released, which is the point. As far as written fiction, yes, I've got plans to use it for 'summit fiction' updates, and for general interaction stuff. It's a good way for people to get involved in writing report things, which I may open up later on for people to do.

Wally asks: 1.) Who stole the cookies from the cookie jar? 2.) Does water actually sink counter-clockwise in Australia? 3.) Are you going to be trying out the ACC beta?
Cethgus stole the cookies from the cookie jar! (Who, me? Yes, Stu! Couldn't be! Then who?!) and, no. In reference to the standard toilet question, water in the toilets kind of flushes... straight down? I mean, I haven't seen enough old-timey toilets to know.

As for the first actual serious question of Wally's, of course. I highly recommend that everyone in CNS does the same, because the ACC is shaping up to be something incredible. I've still gotta qualify - so should everyone!

In Closing

I'm excited for what this year will bring. Summit's working hard to bring you guys all the content we possibly can, but to do that we need your help in getting things off the ground. Everything you guys can do to help out is greatly appreciated.

In all honestly, I'm super glad we're getting so many Equites (and Elders!) back into the House. We've sorely needed a boost of activity like this and as Aedile I am mega-proud for you guys stepping up to the plate and mucking in. You have a very sincere thanks from me. As a result, if you guys have any suggestions for improving our organisation or the way things are done by us as Summit, please do not hesitate to let us know. Your feedback is what keeps us rolling!
