The albino took a deep breath as the door to the Consuls office closed behind him. Sight passed the datapad he had received, upon confirming his elevation to Clan Rollmaster, to his Fade.
“Make sense of that, Lilly,” the Priest said as the two began to walk through the Citadel’s hallways to their office. A new set of responsibilities was upon their shoulders now and they would rise to the challenge.

Yes, I know that report fiction is too short to be called a fiction. You may also be asking yourself why there is no report graphics yet. We will cover that later on. However, I have some important information to cover with you today, so without further adieu let’s dive in.
Most of you already know me. I am Sight Nortorshin, your new Rollmaster. I plan on keeping things that work as they are, but things that can be improved on will be.
I would like to say thank you to SWL Andrelious J. Mimosa-Inahj, who spent the last 20 months as Clan Rollmaster, seeing an outstanding 30 members gain Knight under his watch. Thank you for your work to further the Clan, Mark.
Congratulations go out to Turel Sorenn whom is the new Aedile of House Qel Droma. I have known Turel for some time now and I am excited to see what he does as Aedile.
I will maintain an open door policy. This means no matter what your rank or position, if you have a DJB related question or problem you can always come to me with it. I will try my utmost to help you with whatever it is, and if not I will make the proper introductions to someone who can.
I am the Clan Rollmaster, the interests of our Clan’s members come first. I am here simply to help the clan however I can and, as such I will always put the members as a whole first and foremost over any individual’s politics.
If you are a current Master or want to become a Master I ask only one thing of you besides guiding your Apprentice. You will maintain at least a basic level of activity. I am not a fan of an Apprentice finding himself/herself with a Master that is not only hard to contact but inactive. If this happens you, as the Master, will be removed from your Mastership if your Apprentice agrees to this action. If the Apprentice wishes to take another Master, even the same one, I will still require activity from the potential Master.
I consider basic activity to be participating in both local and db-wide competitions (anything from simple flash games to epic fictions and graphics), gaming with others for CFs, or adding input or comments on an ongoing project, big or small. Even hanging out and chatting on IRC helps.
All of these things set good examples for the new members coming in, and will be what I use to make determinations of who will make a good master or not. We will also work on pairing members we think will get along well based on personality, time-zones/schedules, and types of activity they are interested.
Have fun with it. Whatever it is you are doing have fun doing it, thats why we are all here, to have fun.
I have several plans that I am going to be implementing over the course of the next several months. So you are probably asking yourself “Sight, what does this mean for me?” Well this means more things for you to use as a Master or as an Apprentice to utilize. I have a special project in the works that will with any luck become a touchstone for our Apprentices and Masters. I will talk more about this project in my next report. Also more competitions of various types to participate in.
I will also be working directly with the leadership of the Houses and Battle Teams to figure out how we can improve the experience for our members both below and above DJK.
Tired of fiction competitions? Well the solution to your woe has arrived, I will be running various types of competitions on a weekly to bi-weekly rotation, that will cover graphics, poetry, and more. these will be designed to be minimal effort yet enjoyable for you the Member. I will let you all know when I will be launching the first set of these competitions.
I would like to highlight my comp for Report Graphics, The winners graphics will become the graphics I use in my reports.
First off if you wish to be a Master or currently are a Master take a look at my above listed policies then drop me an email with what you do/your interests in the DJB. Same goes for those of you who are Journeymen. Let me know what you like doing; be it fiction, gaming, or other things. This will help me set you up with a Master who has similar interests.
I will be taking a close look at our current Master-Apprentice pairings to see what is working and what is not.
We currently have 62 members spread over two houses and five battle teams, of these members 17 are below DJK, of those 17, 10 have Masters.
I will include things our Journeymen are accomplishing starting with my next report. So fill my inbox with activity and just plain winning guys and gals. I also plan on starting to conduct interviews with our journeymen and featuring them.
