Well folks, the New Avengers have once again been assembled. All our peas are in a pod, cheerleaders in a squad(yes, totally not referencing Bring It On in the title). The house is full. AKA The Clan Summit is filled and whole once more. So, let us recap on the who’s who and what the Chain of Command looks like now, from top to bottom:
Reminder: We’re here to assist with any questions, proposals, competition ideas. Feel free to give us a poke with any of the such. Likewise, if making a proposal to any of the Council members, CC you House leaders and/or Bograt(Alex) and I to the email. This allows us to keep track on the project status and to note it as project work, which can be used for xp!
We are going to use a new report schedule going forward:
Please take a couple minutes and fill out this Arcona Summit Engagement Survey to let us know your thoughts on the summit's performance, what you would like to see added or done, etc. This will help us shape and improve the clan experience.
Additionally, we've heard from about a third of the clan for the Arconan Census '25 Survey which has been insightful for what those members' interests and needs are. Please take a minute to fill this out if you haven't already as it allows us to know what activities you enjoy to promote then to you and add them to our competitions etc. It also tells us things such as if tagging or DMs is preferred, etc.
Thank you all. Hope you are doing well and look forward to hearing your voices.
As the title has mentioned, Season Parabellum - Cycle 2 has started! This will be running for 3 months(05/05 to 07/27) with a couple extra comps(Phase I & II) during the first and last month.
The Tenixir Pirates have given a Coruscant gang, the Quantum Shadows, a bunch of Brotherhood tools and armor. They also received disguises in the guise of significant Brotherhood leaders and were tasked to rob the Bank of Coruscant as such. Turns out this was all orchestrated by the Collective! You can read more of the opening story Here.
Find the Competitions here!
Please take a look at this awesome Parabellum Cycle 2 Guidebook Wally has graced us with! Story Summary! NPC Info! Competitions Info! Rewards and how to get them!
Make sure to Pledge if you haven’t! Doing one competition in each of the three pillars, gaming, graphics, and fiction, will count your fictional direction vote up to three times!
If there are any questions, let the Summit know and we'll help.
Here is a sign up form for anyone looking for a group for the Seasons RP comp, Hunt & Cover. Just throw yourself into the looking for group box. If you have a team, add it in/yourself to it. Etc. You are not limited by any units and may team up with people outside the battleteams, houses, and the clan, ie everybody in the Brotherhood is free game.
This has been an overdue update. In my last report, I had announced we were going to have an event starting on April 11th as well as the beginning of the first Clan mission RP. Unfortunately, I was a little ambitious on that time frame then in addition to life rearing up on me during April. My sincere apologies and regrets on failing to get that out on time and communicate likewise in a reasonable manner. Going forward, there will be more transparency on any changes and good concrete plans to achieve timely activities.
That being said, this delay has allowed us to really dig into some major changes we want to bring forth to Arcona in the future. These will involve not only the fictional realm our characters live in but also how that story is influenced by OOC. Over the next couple weeks, we’ll be putting the final touches on these changes and introduce them in the next event, which will start June 1st.
As for the Clan Mission RPs, those are going to be put on hold while the Clan and Houses finish organizing themselves around Seasons. If everything feels comfortable and there is room for it, I would love to run one with the event in June. I will keep this a TBD plan though and update as time approaches.
Now, without further ado, let me pass you to Bograt who will share a peak into the projects we’re working on:
Greetings Arconans, and welcome to the month of May!
I’m here to give a little peek behind the curtain of what we’ve got in the works for Arcona, coming soon to a competition near you!
We’ve been talking for a little while about the new direction the Clan is going to be taking in-universe, operating more openly, being less “shadow government” and exercising complete control over our home system, and also working to improve relations with both the indigenous residents of Dajorra as well as our galactic neighbors. Those of us on the Summit have been ruminating on this direction, and how best to provide a framework for that in our fictions and our day-to-day activities. I am happy to announce we’ve developed what we think is a great way to handle this, both in our fiction and as a mechanical system to allow our members to influence how these things go.
First off: the Clan Arcona Diplomatic Relations and Embassy Services! A full-fledged diplomatic service division, modeled after real world diplomatic organizations both national and international, the CADRES will be the primary organization in charge of Arcona’s diplomatic efforts both foreign and domestic. There will be a complete wiki page available on the organization soon, but the basic rundown is: divided into three divisions, CADRES focuses on three primary goals. The Diplomatic Relations branch focuses on establishing diplomatic contact with other governments, organizations, and cultures and developing mutually beneficial relationships between us. The Foreign Aid branch is focused on the logistics and implementation of providing resources, training and assistance to those we have established diplomatic relations with. The Embassy Services branch is utilized to set up a permanent presence of CADRES (and by extension Clan Arcona) in these other places in order to maintain regular lines of communication and provide a more direct way for those we are working with to interact with us.
This is all well and good for in-universe fictional purposes but what does it mean to you, here in the real world, reading this on your phone or computer?
I’m glad you asked! We’re also currently working on a mechanically-tracked system that will allow you to have influence over both the direction and success of our interactions with local Dajorran governments, our nearest galactic neighbors, and maybe even some of the shadier denizens of our little corner of space. Exact details are still being hammered out, but the general idea is we will be tracking general membership activity in a variety of fields (fiction, RPs, GFX, gaming, etc.) and each of these will be influencing our relationship in-universe with a major player in our diplomatic efforts. When the time comes that there are significant choices to be made in how we want to handle a situation, these will primarily be tied to Clan-level competitions and in a system very similar to how Seasons and Cycles are being handled, your participation in these competitions will influence how events play out in our Clan fiction. Each and every one of you will have the opportunity to wield influence over just how upright and righteous or backroom-dealish and shady our diplomatic efforts will be!
As you can tell, I’m very excited about the possibilities of these upcoming systems, and I hope this little glimpse has managed to get you hyped up as well!

In addition to other systems being in review, we’ve also revamped our Discretionary Funds Calculator. It’s fancy, color coded, smells like basic sheets formulas that are pulling some heavy weight. What is the Discretionary Funds Calculator 2.0? Well, it runs the activity metrics of both houses through some multipliers and point values, then maths it up to spit out a juicy monthly paycheck for the Houses’ spending accounts that can be used for more ships and assets coming to your sandbox to play with.
The changes with the new calculator essentially sum up to moar credits to you pew-pew! Also, it adjusts a big multiplier for Vendettas and Wars to not be tied to members who have 100% all the comps but those that have 100% all the bins, ie. you do not have to do every comp but 1 comp in each bin of a Vendetta/War or a Seasons’ Cycle. Thus, say it with me, moar money for your house funds.
This new calculator will be in play in the next clan report.
Thank you, Nicfer, for gathering these links!
That’s it from us for now. Hope you are all well. If you have any questions or concerns, bothe Bograt and my doors are always open and you are welcome to DM or email us. Take care all and we’ll catch you later, alligators.
