Introduction

Hello my fellow Pallians, our colleagues in Karness Muur and onlookers from the outside. In this month's report, I'll be going over the importance of maintaining activity, the clan Run-on and it's new series of competitions, The earnings of our members, happenings from elsewhere in the club and answering a few of your questions you've sent my way. So without further adieu, let's get right into it.

The Importance of Maintaining Activity

In our last event, The Enemy Below, we were divided by PIN not house. That being said, including participation in the container competition, HAP registered 215 of 409 entries. Events such as these are always well entered by Plagueis, what we need to focus on is maintaining this activity. With a GJW scheduled for this year, heading in with momentum is crucial for any efforts. Not only does that help us have impressive numbers for when units are reviewed by those above, but it enables us as leaders to reward the hard work you guys put in, while technically we're seen as 'above' regular members, we aren't. If anything, we serve you guys. If you have ideas for competitions, things to include elsewhere, you come to us, and we help as much as we can with your thoughts. As anyone who's hit Knight/equivalent or has seen the guidelines on promotions knows, a particular emphasis is placed on sustained activity, we totally get life happens, we all have periods of unavailability from time to time. But keeping yourself at the forefront of activity when you can means you're often the first to come to mind when we think about awards.

Manifest Destiny: The Competitions

As anyone who's been willing to listen knows, Manifest Destiny is the story of Plagueis settling Aliso. With those bugs out of the way, we can now focus on this again until the next clan or club wide thing happens. To incentivise and reward you for your contributions, we are now running competitions where you post and are entered in with a chance for a crescent, the first of which ends on Monday the 15th of May. So get those posts in, but remember, you have to reserve a post and then update with your post within 24 hours of the reservation being made, or it is free for anyone else to reserve. This is mentioned in the first post by Drac but is worth reiterating because it's designed that way to keep the story flowing. While on the subject of competitions, there's a few out there worth doing.

• Twelve Weeks A Haiku Currently on week 3, co-organised by our very own Tra'an.

• Gaming for Glory-May A nice and easy competition to enter, simply game and check the option from the list on either the bot for PVP or the submission menu for PvE/O.

• Gorefest-May begins next Thursday. Get those double clusters.

• Invaders from Beyond Space, get your fix of Space Invaders and participation in a competition.

Question Time

#InterviewTheDemon Just the one question this time from Silent who asks: When will our characters ever become romantic? A: Romance isn't exactly a priority for Kelly, what with having to handle politics and lead a house, that being said, NPCs exist so you could romance your own NPC, or have a non-CS NPC.
