Introduction

Plagueis, it I, your friendly whip-wielding Quaestor. Non-Plagueians, I know you're reading (yes you are, you don't need to hide it) you are welcome too, if you do exist you're taking an interest which is commendable, it's easy to stay stuck in one's own bubble, but we're all part of a larger group called Star Wars fans. (Or whatever else got you to join) We've got a few things to talk about, the end of Mysteries of Aliso and it's closing fiction courtesy of our Proconsul Ronovi. The summer has started so I'll speak about that a little, cover the usual things HAP people have done to be awesome, cover news from the wider club and answer a couple of incredibly burning questions from members of Plagueis.

Mysteries Uncovered

So, the Mysteries of Aliso event has ended and in general, the event seemed to be well received, with just shy of half the clan taking part. Now while of course, the clan is the important part, I don't get paid enough to be in charge of the whole clan. So, from a HAP perspective, I'd like to thank those took the time to submit entries, some even completing a high number of entries despite RL perils. To those who didn't, better luck next time. In terms of the in my opinion, rightly minimised contest between the Houses, Karness Muur got one up on us. That hurts me, but I know since the war we've had members moved across to HKM, Ronovi ascended to Proconsul among other things so I'm not too disheartened. In fact, I'm optimistic and let me tell you why. Not only is the first time in a while such a thing has happened, but it also represents a learning opportunity for members as well as Areticus and I as a House Summit. Yes, Mysteries of Aliso was teased, in some form or another, for a while, but things compounded to cause less hype than I would've liked on our side as a House. We know that's something we need to work on, but I'd also like to hear and see member input. Silent did an excellent job of this as he usually does, so I have to point him out as a noteworthy example for people as to how you can help.

Closing Thoughts

So that is all from me, my precious Pallians, at least on the report front. There'll be an Aedile report dropped on the 20th and the Big Boss Seal shortly after that. But before I actually go, a couple questions were asked.

• Ronovi asks Pineapple on pizza - yay or nay? Nay, pizza is a glorious thing that shouldn't be spoiled by the presence of fruit

• Conseal asks What is your favourite seal? Now I said the seal of hype because hype is the most wonderful feeling, but I'm told the correct answer is harp seal so I'll say that.
