Good Evening House Imperium and welcome to the January edition of the House Imperium report! Happy New Year! The movie was grand, the reviews were mixed and I believe the community in the DJB were overly pleasant of the outcome. With some spoilers aside, I did need tissues. If you don’t know yet, there is a spoiler channel open on Telegram, to which I have no link, but check the GM’s reports for that. I prefer not to meddle in fan theories, it’s just my opinion. ONWARDS TO THE REPORT!

Shadow Guard

Shadow Guard has been designed to be a protective unit for House Imperium Leadership, it is also used in battle as a Stealth Infiltration Unit. When the house is under attack Shadow Guard strikes quickly from the shadow's and then just as fast retreats to them if there is sufficient force to take out. In times of war Shadow Guard was created to be used as deep infiltrators. They are tasked with sneaking over enemy lines to try and take out the enemy leadership.

Delak is the BTL for this team, as Chrome has stepped back and slightly to the left as Sergeant, if you wish to join this team, I will leave their emails below.

Shadow Guard Report!

Grey Wolf Alliance

The Cocytus System is in chaos over the outbreak of a disease that turns its citizens into undead monsters. The forces of Scholae Palatinae have been able to wipe out the enemy forces who tried to resurrect their “Old Gods”. They were unable to wipe out the forces before they were able to infect the populace of Judecca, the main planet in CSP’s system. The Capital City of Ohmen was hit the hardest by this outbreak. Shadow Guard was tasked with clearing out the undead beings throughout the Capital. All other forces were busy evacuating the remaining citizens of the city so that the disease would not spread any further and to allow the forces of Shadow Guard to take back the city. Knowing that Shadow Guard would have a tough time by themselves, the Emperor Xen’Mordin Vismorsus-Palpatine, had called in for aid. The only team close enough to assist them was Battle Team Greywolf from Tarentum. This team is led by a Gray Jedi named Caesar. His group was passing by Cocytus on their way home from training missions nearby.

Alliances has started! There’s a Runon, fiction, graphics, flash games and crescents galore! Submit, submit, submit!

House Imperium

There are competitions for you to enjoy created by myself and Dante, I will include them below for you. Dante has invited you to his estate to partay! I’ve tasked the Imperium members to either find the Undesirables or assist their aid, the choice is yours! You can also fight your way through the FLASHWARS! and Rogue Squadron games, earning yourself a hefty score while trying to fight for a crescent! You can also put your artistic skills to the test, and design some extra buildings from your perspective.

Oh and that Pink dude gave us a good competition, in order to ring his winterbells. #SeewhatIdidthere?

If you haven’t being paying attention to the Telegram chat, or just don’t want to read over 500 messages to get the picture, Eli, Rosh, Jorm and I discussed the possibility of creating a Tabletop D20 RPG for our clan (HOLD ONTO YOUR KNICKERS, CHAPS!). At the moment it is all brainstorming and collecting data and information from various other D20 esque games. So if you want to help us find some basic, clear and understandable rules or with anything else, you can find our emails below. Have at it folks!

Clan Scholae Palatinae

The Emperor has released his January Edition report and the names chosen for the monsters are so awesome! I am really grateful for all your hard work, and I promise the monster I chose will be used for the profit of Imperium (By eating Lucy, Rosh, and Jorm on Sundays) through care and loyalty to our cause (mainly eating Jorm). I hope you enjoy the read like I did, I noticed the blown up versions of those monsters are awesome to see. If you see the artist, A’lora the Consul of Odan-Urr, around in telegram, give him a massive thank you for the help!

Also our Rollmaster Landon has recently stepped down from his strong reign, it was truly amazing to see his intuition at work. His experience in the MAA gave him a massive benefit for the awarding skills he had, which led to Xen being praised as a strong leader, Cruise being promoted and all you guys getting the awards you deserve. So thank you Landon, I hope you will serve us again in the future. Elincia Rei, an oldie but goldie, recently stepped up and is filling the extra big shoes as Rollmaster. Make sure you congratulate him and read his first ever report in 8 years!

Brotherhood News

I’m just gonna make this short and sweet for you guys, because its the holidays and we don’t want you bogged down in my reading walls. The ACC Combat Master has progressed the finale combatants onto the THIRD ROUND in his tourny. We wish them luck, despite none of our Palatinaeans being involved.

Our Grand Master has lifted the spoiler ban from all channels. Despite this lift, I would still advise you to be sensitive in what you say. Sure you can declare you’ve seen it and you’re emotions are wrecked about it, but wave the spoilers in our faces and we have a problem, dear.

Also, the Headmaster is looking for a brand new Praetor to replace the wizard tree and a Magistrate to be a temporary thing for 6 months only. Apply now!

Finally, the Herald is looking for a Magistrate to replace that weird Arconan girl who keeps airlocking useful soldiers. If you have experience with graphics software and is obedient to orders, come with some ideas and this job might be yours. Apply now!

Imperialist Plans

As you well know, Dante and I are working to make sure this new House is built properly, strongly and also by your standards. This is a huge project with many aspects to cover from History, interaction with other houses and clans, the finer details of our own vendettas and wars, the description of our headquarters, it’s leadership and really anything else you could think of. This sounds like a wall of text, and in the beginning it most likely will. But with your help and in groups we can build this wiki into something that will catch the eye of others, and become a great example to read. So I am asking for your hand.

If you have some ideas that can be included into the House’s history, a niche that could be unique to our persona, or a piece of history you wish to write that can fictionally sum up how the foundations of House Imperium were placed, we would love to see these ideas in the flesh. You can email Dante, myself and Delak about these ideas and if you have an excerpt of what you would like to place in, this will be an excellent option as well. I’ve always held an open mind to reading other’s fictions as we all have our own structure and rituals, so it will be no different here. Some good examples to write are:

• Sub-units of troopers and heavies.

• Insignias or blurbs for strike teams.

• A barracks with a mission statement and training scheme.

• A spaceport or dock to get off the isle of Dleacht.

• A solid description for House Imperium Base, if there’s any specialised rooms etc.

• A main base for Shadow Guard and their training grounds.

Star War News!

The movie was amazing in my opinion. I’m not going to spoil it for anyone, because I don’t like being a jerk but I loved the authentic look on the different species and such. It was a glance back into the past, while improving the story and their technology at the same time. I have to admit, when I watch Kylo Ren in action and out of combat, it isn’t hitting me as authentically evil, darkness consuming his soul as he devours others with pure hatred and pleasure. To me, it’s more like Finn took his lollipop and he wants it back. But i’m hoping the character will mature over time and become something to fear, like Vader used to be when I was a kid many eons ago.

Many people play Galaxy of Heroes on their mobile and tablet apps, if that’s something you are interested in, then your best bet is to try the game, continue to level 12 if you like it and then give your ally code to the FIST staff, they can add you to the appropriate group with others in. Not entirely sure how it works, but i’m thinking the unique code is like a dossier number, but i’ll let the experts explain.

Final Thoughts

For those of you who missed it, Kyo my apprentice was promoted to Knight and he enjoyed every second of his lavished moment. Please, if you are a Journeyman in this House and wish to achieve this rank with the goodies, let your elders know and we will help. Doesn’t matter if they’re from Exicidium or if it’s the Emperor himself. Just ask. So, for your entertainment here is his knighthood. Enjoy!

Ohmen City Judecca

The high rising settlements and chiselled buildings usually bustling with life, were especially ghostly and silent. Life seemed to have been drained from the city centre, while doors remained deadlocked and the Emperor’s own spaceport hangar was the only sign of life. Lined and formulated with patterns of the Empire’s best Judeccan Guards, their rifles cocked and ready while standing guard at the edge of the landing platform. Gliding elegantly from the clouds above, a dark shuttle descended towards the platform, with it’s wings folding inwards as landing gear extended from the stomach with a soft hiss. A ramp slithered from the base of the shuttle and a trio of uniformed members descended.

At the front of the group was Delak Krennel who marched forward towards the citadel building with a look of pride and confidence. At the back of the group was Chrome, who held his DC-15X rifle firmly as his eyes darted everywhere. Central to the group and donning his dark robed attire, Kyo Akumu concealed his face through the dark hood. Elusive in their nature, the trio marched quickly towards the large arch. Delak gave off a confused look as he nodded to the guard at the arch.

“Sir, Battlemaster Lexiconus has yet to arrive for the meeting. The council are uncertain when he will arrive.” The helmed man stated officially.

“No need for him just yet, let’s join the Emperor before we get on his ‘bad mood’.” Delak retorted with an uncaring pleasure. The guard promptly opened the door and the group strode inside. A circular hall greeted the group, as an obsidian sky eclipsed the roof from sight, they noticed a raised platform with the very infamous and distinct throne adorned with the Scholae Palatinae logo. Delak and Chrome searched the immediate room by patrolling, while Kyo slowly approached the throne. A pulsating feeling washed across his body and senses, attracting him closer until finally a shroud rose from the throne, his silver mask glistening from the ambient light. Then in a glorious show of illumination, lightsabers ignited around the pedestal as the being stepped closer towards Kyo.

“It seems even on this day, your Master cares very little about ceremonies of the humanoids. Pity, he has the gift too.” Xen’Mordin, the Emperor, spoke with a soft echo towards the confused Kyo.

“Gift, sir? Is he buying us holiday presents at this meeting?” Kyo tried to stutter out, as his eyes glistened at the idea of possessions for himself. The motive of stealing the Emperor’s mask stirred in his mind, but this was not the time or place. “Kneel, Hunter.” Kyo acted quickly to the Emperor’s order, lowering his hood and bowing his head. A fiery roar echoed from above as a pure white light brightened the room from Xen’s lightsaber.

“Kyo Akumu, you have proven your undying loyalty to this Empire, your strength is paramount as a fighter and your skills under the tutelage of Battlemaster Qor have excelled the standards we set. By my authority I knight you into the Sith Order.” Xen’Mordin hovered his silver blade on each shoulder as he then began to open his reserved bottle of liquor, while the circle of masked members slowly pointed their blades towards Kyo.

“As is tradition, drinks are on-” With the bottle tipped slightly, an orange hand quickly gripped the bottle and a low growl perked the Emperor’s ears. “That’s my line, Xen!” Lexiconus tugged the bottle from the Emperor’s hand and proceeded to pour the contents onto Kyo, who looked up in surprise. “Catch kid. A piece of me with you.” The Quarren threw a sparkling lightsaber hilt directly into the Knight’s hands, which shined like a large diamond in the silver light.

Lexic quickly snapped his ruby lightsaber to life and pointed it at his apprentice, then gave the most menacing of grins towards his sparkling eyes. “Rise, Knight Akumu! Let’s see what you’re like with your new toy.”

Congratulations again, Kyo! I have recently taken on a second apprentice under Blade who has shot off the starting line like flash. Keep up the good pace and you’ll match Kyo in no time, my youngling.

That is it for now, I’m struggling to breathe through my nose, my throat hurts when I swallow and there’s a tooth in my jaw that’s painful to eat with. Chances are i’m visiting a doctor soon, but first I must apologise for being so inactive. It will pick up and I will challenge you to test me once I’m back in the game.
