A Message from the Quaestor

Hallo, my lektastic Qel-Drominians!

I hope you all had a wonderful Valentine’s with that special someone! Or failing that, at least a memorable me-day, because loving yourself is a relationship that lasts a lifetime!

Tali’s upgraded Farsight is tingling that we may be called to aid the Consul once again before the month is over, but thanks to the upgrades to our defenses, we can hopefully avoid another invasion/incursion/externally caused fire in the near future.

The Blind Key, the skeleton key that allows the user access to effectively every door on Ol’val, has been a monthly reward item granted to the most active of our members. However, it was felt that the monthly turnaround time was a bit too quick for an item of such power and we are moving to a quarterly basis. This means that in order to win it, you must obtain the highest total score in the Crescent race over a three month period. The running totals will be displayed every month, so you know how you’re stacking up against the competition!

Paws Up Qel-Dromans!

After hard work at the House Event alongside Valentine's Day Event we reached March! So everything is starting all over - and now possibly we will see some results: grass, flowers, colors and… babies looks silently at the Quaestor. Remember to have a rest, because Awoooo something is coming this month, and we will need as much energy as we can! So have a last warm winter beverage of your choice, take off the fluffy jumper and engage in the future competitions!

Also a lot of small critters (kittens, puppies) to take care off this past month and cleaning audits in the National Healthcare System - but I am always on lookout to help anyone! So do not hesitate and reach out to me if you need advice, good word or any support!

House Fiction Update

Eilen Ru'tyari wiped sweat off her brow and sighed, managing to smear a black mark across her forehead in the process. The high alert status they’d been in since the raid on the Hutt cartel had not been remanded and so the fighters of Aurabesh Prime and Butcher squadrons were kept fueled and armed, their systems powered on and waiting for dispatch. Such a status did not lend itself to maintenance, however, and as small errors crept up here and there, the flight crews had asked for expert assistance to deal with them.

“Hey, Eilen, you have a hydrospanner handy? Size thirty?” Zig Kaliska called out from underneath a B-wing she was mending.

The female Bothan looked around and spotted a hefty looking hydrospanner, picking it up and handing it over to the Zygerrian with a cautious look.

“Not to second-guess you, but I don’t think the B-wing has any size thirty bolts,” she stated.

“You’re right,” Zig agreed, “but it does have a stuck gimbal…”

Winding up a proper swing, the Zygerrian brought down the hefty hydrospanner with a mighty clang on a vibrodriver tip she’d lodged in the gimbal unit. The wiser of two forces yielded and the gimbal lodged free once more.

“See? Just the right size!” the Zygerrian grinned.

Eilen merely stood in silent horror, the hair on her neck reaching for the ceiling.

    * Tali: "Now that ve’ve securedt our home, I vant to see us finally addressing this persistent problem of pirates, fanatics, Force cultists andt other veirdos that keep trying to attack us. Ve are supposedt to be the sneaky House that handles these sorts of problems before they become a problem. So I think it’s time ve became a bit more proactive."
    * Archian:"There are things in plans looks at the open scroll but also something is close by water in the glass made circles from the very heavy footsteps Some of the thing are closer than you see them in the mirror."

In Closing…
