A Message from the Quaestor

Hallo my lektastic Qel-Dromans!

What a month of activity it’s been! Between the goings-on in Celeste, the Colosseum on Arx has seen many Qel-Dromans duking it out with various beasts in the SARLACC event! Couldn’t be more proud of your efforts and I hope you’ve enjoyed the experience! I know I have, especially exploring Celeste and making new friends with a GNK-droid.

In major DJB news, we’ve got a new Grand Master, and are likely to get a new Justicar shortly as well. With the change in high-level leadership, I’d like to remind you of the document which details these changes and how they’re enacted in our Club. It is unlike pretty much anything else I’ve ever witnessed in other online clubs to have such a ‘constitution’ but all the more important for it. I cannot recommend at least browsing it enough.

Closer to home, we’ll be running a longer RP this month with the flavor of hunting down the ship that destroyed our old Voidbreaker. As last month was quite heavy on the comp front, we’ll be keeping it light and casual for you all and I hope to see you partake in this new form of storycrafting with us!

Hello fellow Qel-Dromans!

How are you doing?

I’m doing fine and I hope you all are too.

The Sarlacc is reaching its end, and it was amazing to see the unity in both the House and Clan. I hope you had fun with your matches. I sure as hell did! The Clan Event is also on its last days, but there’s still time to do some competitions there. Go check them out and do at least one of the things.

With both these events coming to an end, I would also like to remind you to take a break if you’re tired. And don’t force yourself to do anything you don’t want to just for the sake of doing it. We don’t want you getting burned out here!

House Fiction Update

Dawn Conclave Warship Nova
Hyperspace

Streaks of starlight had melted into a kaleidoscopic tunnel of dizzying shape and luminosity, captivating to behold, though maddening in excess. Untold distances disappeared beneath the durasteel keel of the Nova as its sleek bow plowed the hyperspace lane like a bird of prey. The Dawn Conclave warship was a sleek warbird, its recurved wings poised to strike with batteries of turbolasers along their leading edges, and its outstretched command deck offering its captain unbridled visibility of the battlefield.

Hawkeyed and gaunt, captain Huq Kar’Naag was as much a predator as his charge. Sitting in the captain’s chair and observing the vortex of light rushing past, he could feel every vibration and tremor, every minute shift in the frame of his vessel. They both longed for prey.

Ever since they’d pounced that hapless Charger c70 near Kubindi, their luck had taken a distinct turn for the worse and though they hadn’t gone hungry, the targets they’d intercepted had been slim pickings. Why command still insisted they stay out here, harrying shipments into the Dajorra-sector, was beyond him. But then, he wasn’t paid to ask such questions.

Awards, Promotions, Consul Report

• We have a new Battleteam Leader! Join me in officially congratulating Marick Tyris, aka Wally, for his new position! He’s already written a report, that you can find here.

• Alaisy Tir’eivra has been awarded an Amethyst Kukri for her services as Praetor to the Herald! Congratulations to our shiny Sith for her new stabbie!

• Emere Galo has been awarded an Anteian Cross for her dedication to the House and Clan! Congratulations on your new medal Emere!

• Karran Val’teo, who now goes by the name of Chare’nol’amon (Enola for shorts) has been awarded a Steel Cross for his service to the House as Battleteam Leader. Thank you for your service Karran!

Blind Key

For the third month in a row, Alaisy Tir’eivra maintains ownership of the Blind Key. Apparently, she claims to be making very good use of it. We’ve also been noticing a rise in disappearances over the last two months… Coincidence?

In Closing…

There has been loads of activity last month and I think we could all use a bit of a breather before whatever events the DC might have in store for us. Let’s kick back, relax, and enjoy some hard-earned revenge on the people who blew up our old home!
