Hello one and all, and welcome to another edition of the Plagueian Proconsul Report!

It’s been a hot minute since my last report and a lot has happened! The weather got a lot colder, we completed two major events, started another one and had some changes to the summit. Crazy right?!

Plagueis News

First up, we had the end of Cycle 3 of Season 1: Parabellum. While this isn’t a clan specific event, I did want to give a quick shout out to Furios and Astralis for placing in the top 10 of the Gaming Pillar and Kalen for placing in the top 10 of the Graphics Pillar! Plagues also had 51.72% of the clan participate in at least one competition during cycle 3, which is the highest participation percentage rate of all the clans check out the results post here! There is only one cycle left in Season 1, so let’s finish strong!

Another reason that I wanted to mention Parabellum Cycle 3, was because competing in each of the bins awarded bonus points for another event that recently ended….

THE PRO BOWL!!

This year marked the 9th annual Pro Bowl, it's hard to believe that an event that started off as a fun way of mixing things up between the houses of Plagueis would turn into a club wide series of fun and games that breaks down barriers between the clans and brings together unexpected allies and putting the focus on participation rather than placement! Slags posted a report highlighting the results of the event including the final team standings and top 10 placements, but I want to take a look at the clan as a whole.

Over the course of the event, we saw 14 unique participants from Plag or just about half the clan. This number stayed fairly consistent from week to week with a high of 12 in week 1. Interesting enough, it was week 3 of the event that saw the most competition entries from Plag. Plagueians submitted 269 entries in total, while week 1 and 2 showed consistent activity, week 3 saw a huge surge finishing the event off strong with 86 entries! These are numbers I am extremely proud of and win or lose, no matter what team you were on or where you placed over all, you killed it! I can’t wait to see what Slags has in store for the 10th anniversary!

You’ve probably heard by now, but Nora has left Plagueis and taken on the role of Proconsul for Clan Arcona. This is bittersweet, while we will miss having her in the clan, I am very proud of her for stepping into the position and I am sure she will continue to be absolutely incredible, helping to push Arcona to be the best that it can be. Plus, now that we are Proconsuls for different clans, the rivalry can truly begin!

With Nora’s departure, Furios has stepped up to help guide Tyranus. Furios has a long history in Plagueis and has held multiple positions within the clan, in fact, when he was Quaestor of House Karness Muur, I was his Aedile. I have the utmost respect and trust for Furios and look forward to seeing what he has in store for Tyranus. In his first report as Quaestor, Furios introduced himself and announced the launch of the next Plagueian event…

Operation Zerek!

Operation Zerek is a good ol’ fashioned lore drive! Designed to let you get your hands dirty and influence the clan lore through a series of events. The event runs over 3 weeks and ends on November 30th. Slags posted a report launching the event. These competitions are quick, fun and will let you help guide the direction of the clan as we enter the new year.
