No fiction this month as Operation: Resurgence is going strong. Be sure to check it out for all the latest Qel-Droma (and Arcona) adventures.

Brotherhood/Clan News

• Our esteemed DGM just posted the latest fiction update bridging the Dark Crusade and Fading Light into the upcoming Great Jedi War. He also posted a report with pretty charts, social media numbers and teasers for the GJW events. You should totally read and comment on everything Pravus/Sarin posts and I’m not just saying that to get report of the week ;)

• The Herald Office has been hard at work on goodies for Herald Style Hanukkah, just as a reminder all saber and banner requests are closed until the event is over.

• James aka dbb0t’s dad has done a ton of work behind the scenes on the website we all love and enjoy.

• The Headmaster Report contains the details on the updated leadership degrees and a shout out to our very own Rod for tearing it up in the Shadow Academy. The leadership courses are well put-together and relatively painless, be sure to check them out. It looks good to have them in your dossier when you apply for jobs. Hint Hint

• Valhavoc detailed TOR and Destiny updates in his Gaming Report. Also, don’t forget Gorefest is this weekend (Friday to Sunday GMT/UTC), double CFs!

• And last but not least, our intrepid Consul put out an update where he gave some crazy person a QUA job. Oh yeah, he’s on Jew-cation until the 26th and Legorii is acting Consul. If something happens to Legz while Wally is gone dbb0t becomes acting Consul.

House News

• Ok. First in case you missed Wally’s update Valtiere stepped down from Quaestor. Valt did some outstanding work during his time on Summit and you should all thank him next time you see him (I have his phone number if you want to drunk text him on whatsapp). Seriously, thanks Will for all the hard work you poured into the House, we all owe you.

• To fill the vacancy in the Quaestor’s chair Wally and Legz have placed their trust in yours truly, the token lightie turned obbie. I am deeply honored to serve as the Qel-Droma Quaestor and I emphasize the word serve. I’ve gotten to know most of you during the past few months as Aedile but I’d like to remind everyone that my door is always open. I work for you, the House members to provide the best experience possible.

• Adam Bolera stepped down as BTL of Apex Brigade and Ernordeth (whom you may remember as HQD Quaestor or Magistrate to everyone on the DC) has stepped up. Ernor, being as awesome as he is, wasted no time and had a full report and BT competitions posted the night he was appointed. I, for one, welcome our new Magnaguard overlords.

• My elevation to Quaestor left a vacancy in the Aedile’s chair and after reviewing the applications and making an extremely difficult (but difficult in a good way) hiring decision, Celevon was selected as Qel-Droma’s new Aedile. Be sure to congratulate him and wear him out with requests. Make him earn that AED pay!

• Celevon’s promotion to Aedile left a vacancy in the Arete BTL spot. After some lengthy discussions with the House and Clan summits, I reached a command decision. We feel it is time to put Arete back on the shelf for now and revisit the concept at a later date. So, Arete is currently slated for closure. Kooki and Celevon will handle all Arete business until the closure date is set. However, we are still going to hire a BTL...

Now Hiring! BTL Applications

“How can you hire a BTL if you are closing the battle team with the vacancy?” Well, because Qel-Droma will still have a second battle team. If you ever had an idea for a new battle team or a way to put a fresh spin on an established one this is your chance. Even if you don’t have a knock-out idea for a battle team, still apply. We are looking for a strong, passionate leader to help build a successful and active battleteam from the ground up. This is a significant challenge to be sure, but it is also a chance to really stand out and build something worthwhile.

So starting immediately we are accepting applications for Battleteam leader. These Applications will be limited to Clan Arcona ONLY.

Applicants should have:

• A plan for either a new battle team or revitalizing an existing closed one (and there are plenty to choose from). I will say there is a strong preference toward courses of action which use the history and prestige of an established BT and the lore of Port Ol’val. We will work with the successful applicant on developing the new and improved battle team. Also, repurposing Arete is a course of action we are open to.

• Past leadership in the Brotherhood and notable achievements.

• Leadership experience outside of the club or in real life that may be relevant.

• ~ >24 Hour email turn-around.

• IRC presence.

• Rank of at least Jedi Hunter.

• Answer the Question: “What does it mean to be a leader in the Brotherhood? (specifically a battleteam leader)” in your own words.

Aedile’s Corner

I'm Celevon Edraven, the new Aedile of House Qel-Droma. As you've seen from what my sexy boss has already written, we're undergoing loads of changes. I'm going to try to keep my random quotes to a minimum before Turel shoves me into the little corner of his office that he refers to as the 'AED Office'...dodges a random projectile and listens... And apparently I get one of those once I prove I won't burn this one down.

Anyway.. Congratulations to Ernordeth and Riann on taking the spots of BTL and BTS of Apex Brigade respectively. I'm looking forward to working with you two (I've already worked with Ernor, but that's beside the point..) and seeing what you come up with.

Similar to my boss who is running this House with my assistance, I have a strict open-door policy. You can come to me with anything, be it you needing a rant or you need to discuss something - anything goes. Confidentiality is a good thing.. unless of course, it requires using a life-doll to point out the bad place where someone touched you. Then I have to tell Turel and or Wally and Legz. So they can beat said person to a pulp. That said, I'll let the bossman finish this up.
